He knows what he's doing and he's so very kind and gentle and patient as heck You know you're in good hands. His assistants are just as kind and gentle. This is an update on my earlier review..I can't figure out how to take it down. Dr Pearson is a really nice guy...everything else about this place sucks. I came in on Feb 10..a happy camper. I needed authorization to get some procedures done...six weeks later I found out they never sent in the paperwork...they did not apologize...two months later...the insurance did authorize a cleaning..that was on March 31...a month later I still have not heard from this office. My teeth are in bad shape and these half baked idiots are not doing anything..so I have filed complaints with the CA Dental Board as well as Denti-Cal.....I think Dr Pearson is in the dark....nice staff but they also suck....half baked.....I am going to Lancaster....hate to do it but if I don't I will die before I get treated here...it's a shame..this place is detrimental to your dental well being. read more

I started with Peachy Dental with just a need for a checkup and my care evolved into other needs. With their professionalism, kindness, and gentle care I am almost at complete with my dental care and the process has not been at all barbaric like my experience has been at other places. I've been a patient at this dental office for years starting when Dr Heer was dentist there. I always recieve the best care. Dr Heer is the one that finally motivated to floss and understand the importance of it. The great care I recieve have continued since he left. The staff there goes above and beyond in their care and treatment. I always appreciate their knowledge and kindness. Love yourself and avoid this place. Dentist seemed pretty good, but techs will grind your good teeth down (no numbing) and nod and say it's okay... then turn around and call you a liar when you call them on their work ethic. read more

The staff was very nice and welcoming, but the dental work is completely terrible. I tried really hard to give them a chance, and I don't usually write reviews but the quality is seriously concerning. I've had three appointments with them, one cleaning and two appointments for fillings. the cleaning was rough, but otherwise went okay. when it came time for fillings, the doctor didn't know which numbing medication he was using, used the wrong, had to be corrected by the assistant, and then used a different one immediately after. My entire face was numb for almost 8 hours, there was clearly too much medication. I got two fillings, and they were very uncomfortable in my mouth, and I couldn't bite normally because one was too high. About a week after my fillings were placed they both fell out. I contacted the office, and rescheduled to have them replaced. This time the doctor told me she needed to drill much deeper to ensure the fillings wouldn't come lose. It was very painful, but I assumed the pain was necessary to have good fillings. It's been about 3 months since that appointment and one of my fillings has again fell out. I will not be returning to this office, the quality of work is simply not up to standard. read more

My review here is very honest and true. 2 stars are for the receptionists and dental assistants , I'd give them 5.sweet girls, nice and good at their jobs . There is no way i'd recommend the dentists at Peachy Dental. It took 2 days for the effects of the 8 Novocaine shots to wear off , two weeks later I developed a horrible infection and no one has yet to call me back. !! DO NOT USE PEACHY DENTAL !! Not sure if this is where to make this post please let me know if I can't make it here. WARNING to all tehachapi residence. I have been going to peachy dental for about 3 months and I paid as I went because my insurance reimburses me. Nikki at peachy dental bookkeeper said she would help me fill out the paperwork what she did however she checked the box that stated to send the money to the dentist instead of me. Long story short my insurance paid the dentist $2,800 which I had already paid for and they only refunded me $2,000. When I spoke with Nikki to get the balance she said their bookkeeper said I was not going to get it. I then asked to speak with the bookkeeper who supposedly made this decision and she would not allow me to speak with her nor would she give me her phone number. I have filed a complaint with my insurance they contacted her and when Nikki found out why they were calling she hung up on them and would not answer the phone. I have now filed a complaint with California state dental board and I am hoping they can do something. Just wanted to warn anyone who may be going to peachy dental that they have very unethical practices and when you try to discuss them with them they won't talk to you and they walk away or hang up on you. Peachy Dental used to be Dr. Heer on Valley Blvd. It has been purchased by the employees and they have brought in a new dentist, Dr. Dave. I just spent almost 2 hours in "the chair" with Dr. Dave and Nunia and it was amazing. For the first time in my 72 years, this was painless. They both spoke to me through the whole procedure and checked with me frequently to make sure that I was okay. I won't go another 6 years of not going to the dentist because of the fear that past experiences have caused. read more

I am new to the area and was having severe tooth pain. Finding a dentist who would take a new patient during CoVid worried me, but the friendly receptionist at Peachy Dental signed me right up. The doctor did a super job but as is normal with fillings I had a raised spot that I didn't detect until after I left the chair. Dr David told me if that happened to come back in and he would fix it right up. I dropped by later without scheduling an appointment with anyone on a day that the office was closed and a sweet hygienist (Nudeya - probably misspelled) drove all the way into work to help me. She seemed happy to take time out of her day off and wouldn't take anything for her trouble. My tooth is perfect now and the staff has greatly earned my respect and loyalty. read more

Absolutely incredible office! Dr Moody saved me THOUSANDS! I had the specialist in Bakersfield quote me $6000 for my 10 yr olds 2 teeth. They said she needed to be put under anesthesia for 3 hours with 2 root canals! Dr Moody saw her- fixed both those teeth the same visit ! And said no way she needed root canals. He's absolutely a magician with teeth! And even more amazing with kids! HIGHLY recommend Peachy Dental! read more

We were unhappy with Gentle Dental in Tehachapi and tried Peachy Dental. Everyone in our family was very impressed with the staff and their skills.
