Pink berry could never. Let me not even start that right now, but seriously they had so many options. Toppings galore, so many different flavors, and great service. I love frozen yogurt to satisfy that "I need something sweet" crave after a great dinner because it's lighter than ice cream but the toppings keep it from falling flat and literally just being frozen Chobani or something. It was my first time, and i enjoyed it. Im a very simple customer, so i didn't bother asking for "samples". It's common sense, when you read the labels you'll be to figure out how it'll taste. I grabbed myself a cup, and started putting in different flavors. I kept it basic: vanilla, peanut butter, strawberry with a crazy mix of random toppings. Are u really a white fordham student if you have never been here? Anyway demographics aside, it's dead on a solid frozen yogurt place. I am not a sweets person, so their tart froyo is my go-to, and topping it with fresh fruit is always something that I forget exists but when I do and order some for myself and my roommate (who loves the cookies and cream gelato), it is a fun time. So....I'm a recovering Pinkberry-aholic but I couldn't find any in the area so I stopped here. I mean...frozen yogurt is frozen yogurt. Can't go wrong there...but there were a few nuances that annoyed me. (1) if I want to taste a sample, why does the cashier have to come from behind the register to do it for me? So extra. (2) None of the toppings were labeled. Annoying. And don't get those little mango/strawberry balls.....it's just pure high fructose corn syrup. Just like all frozen yogurt shops....they give u these big ass cups so you fill it up half way thinking you're saving a Lil $ until you ring up and see you poured $15 worth of ICE CREAM....but I digress. I would give his place zero stars if it would let me. I took my family in here after an amazing day at the Bronx Zoo and some incredible pizza hoping to top the night off with some great frozen yogurt. Well I guess you can't always hope for the perfect day because this place was horrible. We walked into the establishment and were not even greeted by the cashier who was sitting on his cell phone texting and completely ignoring us we decide to walk over and check out the flavors to see what type of flavors this establishment had they had a couple of good flavors so we thought we could try a couple of samples we walked back over to the cashier that was ignoring us and asked to try some samples we get a Huff and a puff from the cashier who states he'll have somebody help us and then he disappears 15 minutes later he comes back holding the cups asking us what you want to try what you want to try what I want to try. After each sample yes do you want another one do you want something else what else do you want it was very rude and had no patience at all. Then we finally decide on the couple of flavors we go to check out and he didn't even have the decency to give us spoons instead he has us a bag and says get your own spoons. We ended up paying $27 for three small yogurts this place is very expensive and they are very rude and nasty to the customers I guess the kids that work there run the store because even after we contacted the store manager they didn't really care to do anything about it we requested that the store owner contact us and we were brushed off and never received a single phone call back. So if you want to waste your money and be treated like a child by children for less than average yogurt if I find better yogurt at a gas station by all means stop here otherwise go somewhere else. read more

This frozen yogurt is the ABSOLUTE best hands down. Way better than PinkBerry in my opinion because their frozen yogurt taste like ice cream. I happen to love that. I just wish they didn't switch out certain flavors. I know they removed cupcake & I was pretty annoyed but all in all, great yogurt in a beautiful place. After walking for a while on a hot summer day, this place was an ideal spot to stop in and relax. Store was clean and topping bar was nicely organized. Madeline, who was the only one working at the time, was very professional and super friendly. As the store got crowded, Madeline was cool and collective, with excellent customer service and a great attitude! Found this place while walking through the little Italy of the Bronx. I would say Red Mango or 16 handles is better, but this place isn't bad so don't skip it. They have flavor offerings that I had not seen before at other frozen yogurt stores. " Pineapple & Pina Colada" Their fruits like mango and pineapple were very frozen and that is where they get a star off as compared to other froyo spots. Nonetheless staff is very nice and attentive and it is a good yogurt spot if you are in the area. They also have smoothies but I didn't try. read more

I live and work in the South Bronx. Peachwave is the closest froyo places for me in the Bronx. I can either ride my bike to the place during lunch or after work. The place looks bright and clean. I usually get the original tart, but the other flavors are great as well. I don't always have to go to Manhattan for a Pinkberry. read more

The froyo itself isn't bad. Not great but ok. Theres a lot of toppings to choose from which is awesome. Lots of fruit toppings lots of candy, chocolate toppings, different types of sauces, whipped cream and a good selection of froyo. The prices aren't bad either. The problem i have is the people who work there look Miserable. They Dont look happy at all to be there. If you dont want to work then Dont work! If not go to Work and try and be nice! Especially in a place where people come with their kids. It's supposed to be a nice friendly environment but the people who work there make it seem really dark and sad. read more

Cool spot in the Bronx, one of the first I've seen. But on the thing I didn't like was the fact you only can sample 3. I honestly didn't know which one I wanted. I know people might just want to sample and not actually purchase but I did purchase and wasn't satisfied with my purchase because it was just a flavor I didn't know if I would like. I'm usually beyond satisfied with the service & yogurt but not today. I wanted to get a dulce de leche blended smoothie. The dulce pump was dispensing straight white yogurt that was very vanilla flavored. I went to the counter to ask for help and the new girl (blond curly hair, kinda short) had a very unnecessary attitude. I said "is the caramel pump working properly?" The first thing she does is try to correct me with a bad attitude. "Actually it's not caramel it's dulce de leche". You obviously know what I'm talking about since you had the nerve to say that. I said "okay either way it's pushing out white vanilla". She went to do something, came back and told me "he said that's how it's supposed to look and taste". I responded with "dulce de leche is supposed to look and taste like vanilla? Okay." I decided to just not get anything for myself because I was already frustrated. My friend still got his order and she charged us incorrectly. Blended smoothies are supposed to be a set price but she over charged us by weighing the contents of the cup. Next time, just taste the flavor is a customer is saying it doesn't taste right Because that was definitely NOT "caramel". read more

I love this place, however lately they are falling off. I visited a couple of days ago, and some machines were not functioning. They have to add new flavors. The service is mediocre. I asked a worker if she was able to put the yogurt in the fridge or freezer while I made a couple of more cups, so you know, it won't melt. To my surprise the manager was rude. The worker asked the manager or supervisor, and she immediately put a nasty face. Some people are not suitable to be in positions of power or authority. I have been going to peach wave for years. When making multiple cups, and your alone, they should be able to help you. Especially when no one is able to hold your other cups or supervise your cup. I just felt disrespected off of her response. As soon as you walk in it is bright and super clean! I loved the variety of flavors (caramel cream, pineapple, etc) and there was a really wide variety of toppings to bring it all together! Lots of fresh fruits, nuts and granola if that's the road you'd like to navigate or you can get down n dirty with the candy, cookies, cheesecake bites...ughhhh my favorite kind of first world problems! To top it all off, Madeline, the young lady working the front was ASTOUNDING! She handled what seemed to be an endless rush of people coming in, making smoothies, ringing up yogurt, complimenting customers, and kids running up to her for hugs and never broke a sweat! Peachwave is awesome. I love that you can create your own froyo from beginning to end. Not gonna give it a five because red mango is much better but this gets close at least. I tend to stick to the plain tart yogurt because i've been disappointed with other flavors they are either too sweet or don't really taste like what they are supposed to taste like. Can't go wrong with the plain tart as your base though. I usually do plain tart with mango, strawberry, flax granola, dark chocolate shavings, and a little sugar free choc syrup or raspberry syrup. I will say that in the past some of the toppings have had a weird off flavor. Maybe not fresh enough or the containers are affecting the taste. I don't know. But it's been more hit than miss. I also like that they close late so it's good for a late snack. Seating space is limited here so if the weather is decent I recommend you take it to go and go across the street to Ciccarone Park. read more
