Even though I bought the trailer elsewhere, they treated me like I was their most important customer. When I called and spoke to April, she went out of her way to get me an appointment on the day I needed one. I really want to thank Billy and Dennis for recommending the Eaz-Lift r3 Recurve weight-distribution hitch, it is amazing. They took the time to explain how to use it and to make sure it was adjusted correctly for my specific towing needs. After it was installed, I drove over 2,000 miles to get home to Las Vegas and Dennis continued to follow up during my trip to make sure that everything was going well. Even though I live in Las Vegas, I now have friends in Macon at Mid-State RV. I would definitely go back there again for my RV needs when I am in the neighborhood.

I don't think I was an exception, because while I was there, a frail 81 year old lady came in for minor fixes to her vehicle, and conversation. After we picked up car and started driving down road, the battery light came on (because our alternator needed to be replaced). Pulled over and when I looked under hood I find out they didn't even replace the battery I paid them for. When I called them to explain what happened, they got very rude and told me that it just happens and that it's not a big deal. We had someone else run a test and confirmed that the alternator was failing and needed to be replaced. Never going back here again. They charge for work that they didn't do and they don't even attempt to make things right.

She called up a guy (Dewayne I think it was) and once he saw where my battery was, his immediate response was "I'm not dealing with this tonight. I'm not gonna take your car apart tonight." He wouldn't even try to listen to me. They did jump it off, with the hybrid, the engine does not start at first. But, like a golf cart, it goes off the battery at first. He kept asking how I was gonna get out if the engine wouldn't start. I was trying to explain that it CAN GO right now. It's a hybrid. He said "well this thing is just a piece of junk" I said at least it gets 50 mpg! He said "well it's getting 120 now because you arent going" This man was a car guy, yet wouldn't even try to understand what was going on or try to diagnose/figure out how to fix the problem. He just kept saying it was a piece of junk and that he wasn't gonna do all that crap tonight. Do not recommend. I understand hybrids are different, but he wouldn't even try to understand how to fix it. HE is the car guy. It was ridiculous how he talked to me and I do not recommend coming here if whatever it is isn't an easy fix.

She just had a great presence about her. As I was about to pay, a little pouch on my keychain came open, and two keepsake coins fell out of it. One was right at my feet, but the other one rolled under a display that is attached to the counter. I expressed how important and sentimental these are to my family and me. Crystal retrieved the coin. But it took her about ten minutes of working on her hands and knees to do so. And you know what? She was genuinely happy to do it. Where do you find employees of this caliber these days? Most folks are indifferent at best. It had been a very challenging day for me, and Crystal turned that around with her kindness and grace. I've been a customer of Jeff Smith Ford for the past six years always had a positive experience…read morewith the fleet service side of Jeff Smith Ford when coming in for a simple car maintenance schedule with my Ford Edge Titanium. AJ is my service advisor and always been upfront and very helpful when there is an issue comes a long and need it fixed. The service technicians who work on the vehicles are nice and very helpful when explaining where is an issue. There is plenty of seating inside of the fleet service building, drinks and eat machine are available just incase you get hungry. Plenty of parking upfront by the entrance to the fleet service building. How long is the normal wait to get your vehicle looked at? All depends on the current day and time you arrive with your vehicle it is best for you to drop off the vehicle just incase you do not want to wait for the vehicle to be looked at and to see what is wrong with it. If I had to recommend the fleet service center side of Jeff Smith Ford I definately will!

The service department is great and have been very helpful. But…read more.. The sales team is a load of bull. My trucks transmission went out a few weeks ago and I had it towed up to be worked on. While waiting to see if ford would cover the fix I went ahead and started asking for numbers on a possible trade in as I need a vehicle quickly. I talked to a sales man, told him my situation and told him multiple times I was ok with doing a "soft pull" just to see if there was even a possibility to get approved with my recovering credit. He reassured me three separate times that it would not hit my credit and was "just to see what we were working with"( my mistake for trusting him I guess ). I then got a notification from Credit Karma that there had been a hard pull on my account. I then flagged our sales man down and asked him why they had done a hard pull after reassuring me three times that it would not hit my credit. He said " there is no such thing as "soft pull" ( even though that was the exact words he originally used) and that they had to hit my credit "to see what it was at". I expressed my concern about both the lies and the fact that it will now show up in my credit history but reluctantly agreed to move forward to look at what trade in price and rates would be since the "damage was done". While waiting on a trade offer to come in I got a notification that they had done THREE MORE HARD PULLS with out my consent on my credit and said they where "trying to find me a good rate" and that " because they are doing it in one location that it would not affect my credit" (which I knew was BS), at that point I was beyond pissed off but stupidly stayed another few minutes to see what they would buy my truck back for, which actually was a reasonable price considering the current issue. I then left hoping my fragile credit would not take any long term damage but sadly a few days later I now see that my report is still showing three hard hits, which is the average expected number for a whole year, and my score went down, and to make it worse in my experience and research that will take at least a year, probably two, for that to come off my report. As a local full time first responder and part time service member I am extremely disappointed in these people and their intentional deceit. I am going to take a copy of these above statements and screen shots I have to the BBB and credit agencies but I'm sure at this point there is nothing to be done.

Came in for a starter replacement and here's an invoice for $4000 for stuff that was fine when I dropped it off. A few hundred to refill coolant, etc., they why do they take the truck out the shop just to email to say they found something else to charge you? Instead of calling you to expedite the process they pull out then call then pull then find something then repeat. They cost you money while costing you money. I'll go to freightliner in forest park before I ever use this place again. Horrible communication and management skills. Their only saving grace is the csr light skin guy with dreads who kept me in the know. Otherwise this place is hopeless
