Dr.Ivey came to the rescue last minute when it was clear my 10 year old dog was suffering. Her compassion, care, and patience made her transition over the rainbow bridge so peaceful. An absolute angel saint in our moment of grief. Thank you Dr. Ivey!

Dr. Ivey was so amazing and compassionate when we had to say goodbye to our sweet cat, Morey. She was able to accommodate me for a same day appointment and made the process so much easier. We also received a beautiful card which was so personal and sweet. Thank you, Dr. Ivey!

Will always love Mr. Sprig!! You will be missed. RIP buddy...

An amazing Vet. Dr. Ivy was compassionate and caring. Respectful of our grieving and made the process as easy as could be all things considered. I would highly recommend her.

My little Stella. Rest in Peace (September 2006-June 2021). I love you.

I called Peace for Pets when I had to make the difficult decision to euthanize my beautiful 15-year-old calico cat, Stella in June 2021. I was heartbroken as I made the call. However, after speaking with Dr. Evelyn Ivey, it felt like I had spoken to an angel. Her voice was soothing, calm, and she listened. She really listened as I rambled on and began to cry as I made the appointment. When she arrived the next day, there was a calmness surrounding her that instantly made me feel better regarding what I was about to do. She made certain everything was about Stella and making this experience as palatable as possible. I decided to brush Stella to keep her calm. It worked. And because Dr. Ivey's energy was so soothing and peaceful, Stella didn't even notice that she was present in the room. The injection for sedation was administered without the need of a local. Again, Dr. Ivey acted quickly, but quietly. No sudden moves to startle Stella. I so appreciated that. And finally, the medication was administered to stop Stella's heart. The entire process was no longer than 5 minutes, if that. I'm certain Stella's last memory was of me brushing her and loving her. I'm so very grateful for Dr. Ivey's compassion, professionalism, and that she genuinely cared about Stella and me. I felt it. Her follow-up phone call and the lovely card I received was totally unexpected but so much appreciated. Please don't hesitate to call Peace for Pets. Dr. Ivey is an angel on Earth.

Thankfully, Dr Petra evaluated him and understood our financial concerns. She recommended we start with a different treatment plan (less costly and still effective) to address his pain and limited mobility. The rest of the care team was also exceptional! Thank you, Michaeleh, Isabella, and Ash. The cat is already feeling better and we have you to thank for that!

They're most recent employee that they have let go was an excellent rehab therapist. That being said, they do not have a very good transparency on the charges or they're accounting. I would advise anyone who has insurance on they're pets to be extremely cognizant of how they charge you. I was in twice a week and ALWAYS asked if there was anything I owed before leaving the premises after therapy and was always told "no". At one time on a Friday visit, I was quoted I had an outstanding balance of a substantial amount, which totally surprised me, and on Saturday, the very next day, I was quoted I owed over $200 more than the day prior, which I immediately paid, however, I could not understand how it jumped $200 overnight! By the following week, for a therapy session on a Monday or Tuesday, I was told by the front desk people I had overpaid and had credit of over $200 that was on the books. Somehow, PPH found a manipulative way to use the $200 credit I had owed to me and refunded me a check of $103, placing the blame on the Rehab Tech, the insurance company and whatever else they could come up with. I would be very cognizant of how they account for they're booking methods. I'm very displeased and not satisfied and will definitly NOT be recommending them anymore to people I know.

My experience with their office staff and vets has been consistently negative, with rude, unprofessional, and disorganized communication. As well, with unclear policies and conflicting information. Matters are sometimes handled informally through texts from personal phone numbers, when not needed, rather than by proper office channels. Most concerning are privacy issues involving my own sensitive personal, financial, and animal related information being shared with other clients of the clinic. It is disappointing to see this decline. I strongly recommend keeping all communication in writing.

You prefer patients get medication at your clinic. So do I, you prescribed pregabalin for Tess that is hard to find, your clinic doesn't fill it and prices range from 300 down to 34. Chewy doesn't have it. All I needed was for your staff to ok the fill over the phone with no additional paperwork. This involved checking the prescription on the computer and authorizing it. They said no twice even after contacting a manager. 2. You were Charlie's PTP. You had all his records, ordered tests and handled some of his routine follow-up while he was being treated at UC Davis. We spent thousands of dollars at your clinic on Charlie for tests. UC Davis indicated within 5 minutes of me taking him there that he had a pronounced heart murmur. He had been seen at your clinic only one week before. I don't know if you listened to his heart, but Davis was very surprised that our vet had not caught the murmur. Charlie had endocarditis, we will never know if catching it earlier would have made any difference but the endless scans to his abdomen and numerous blood tests were financially very difficult and in the end heartbreaking and unnessary. I would have appreciated if some common sense could have been used given Tess" prescription as what you prescribed is not easy to obtain, and that a more thorough routine exam of Charlie could have been done prior to running expensive tests. These pets are loved family members. Thank you
