We really had a tough time finding someone reliable and economic to repair our garage doors. A+…read moreGarage Doors provided us with a quote that was half of what other companies estimated, and they locked in a date for service that completely fit in with our schedule. They showed up exactly on time and ready to work. The repairs which included replacement of the lifting and tensioning systems on both doors was installed professionally and quickly (and they even beat their estimated price). This is a small local company that is dedicated to doing the job right the first time, and we are still amazed how smooth and quiet the operation of the doors are now compared to what they used to be. We could not be more pleased with their service. Kevin, Adam, and Emily really ARE that good!! They even checked in with us weeks after the install to make sure everything was working properly. They work hard, and they genuinely care about their customers. We cannot recommend them highly enough. You guys earned our business. Thank you again.

It now works perfectly, looks great, and is keeping the barn much more insulated than the old wooden door. Great work, I've already recommended them to two friends and family members!

Good work deserves recognition…read more We have two garage doors, neither of which has worked for the past week. I finally caught my breath enough to call somebody. Based on recommendations I found on line, I called Downeast Doors, which has locations in South Portland and Freeport. John, the business owner, returned my call within ten minutes, and was at my home within twenty minutes. Within 40 minutes of arrival, he diagnosed and repaired both doors, each of which had different problems. The doors are vintage 1995, about 30 years old. I am delighted that he could show up that quickly, that he was capable of diagnosing and repairing in short order, and- a bonus- he is a very good guy.
