I'm not always in the area but when I am, I make it my business to get some zucchini fries. They taste so good! No need for sauce. I've also tried the kid's meal when I didn't want to eat too much while it was late. It was quite filling. I'm looking forward to more zucchini fries.

First time having PDQ and the staff was very helpful and made great suggestions. Spicy Chicken Tenders- 9/10 The heat was great just wish the breading was better as it kept falling apart. Zucchini Fries- 10/10 Piping hot and delicious.

Okay this is a strong 4. Me & Bae happened to be in Charlotte for the weekend. I wanted to try PDQ again since I enjoyed the food at the High Point PDQ. We had a Triad Yelp Elite event there and boy did they roll out the red carpet. Kudos for product consistency. The restaurant wasn't packed so we were able to order as soon as we walked in. This particular day they were out of medium cups? You could get the the child's cup or a jumbo cup. Not a huge deal since we ordered convos and decided to dine in. All the sauces are prepackaged in the 2 oz condiment cups. You know the ones. What you get when you ask for a side of ranch to go. Food arrived hot & fresh to our table. No complaints from me or Bae.

This place is pristine. The staff is efficient and friendly. PDQ runs like a well-oiled machine. Having said that, I have to add that the food is a big letdown. I purchased a Mediterranean salad with dried out bland, chewy chicken, with a disappointing smatter of olives, peppers and feta, and there was no dressing that I could taste on the salad. I also had a handspun strawberry shake, which was just okay, but the whipped cream was terrible. My husbands food was lackluster too. He ordered chicken tenders and fries. To their credit the food was served hot. The service is good, but I doubt I would go back here again.

So wow! I loved this place, kinda different but kinda not. So like I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and it was great! Fressssssh and the toppings were perfect and so fresh. The quality of the chicken was really good!!! Also the fries were your basic waffle fries, but their sauces are really good! I had the creamy garlic and PDQ sauce which was so good. I'm from 757 so this was really good. Better than Chic Fil A in my opinion.

I have a chicken tender fanatic in the household, so it was only a matter of time before we gave PDQ a try. I'm not a chicken sandwich eater, so we just got a small order of tenders and fries just to see if it was worth a repeat trip. Let me tell you know, it sure is. Well seasoned fried chicken (this isn't always a given, even though it should be) that tastes great even without the sauce. Crispy (not hard) exterior while the chicken itself was moist. She picked sweet sriracha sauce, and it was a hit for us. The flavor took it over the top. I see reviews complaining about waffle fries, we love waffle fries so they were fine for us. Not salty, similar to CFA's fries. She was disappointed that the pop tart shake was no longer available, they have a fall menu running currently, and we don't do pumpkin spice (bleh). So the specialty shake flavors rotate. I had some of her Oreo shake (the perfect backup choice) and it was also good. Very pleased with the quick meal and the staff was polite and friendly.

We've never seen a PDQ before so we had to try it. We went through the drive-thru and ordered 12-pc. classic nuggets, 12-pc. spicy nuggets and a classic chicken deluxe sandwich. Our food was ready by the time we got to the second window which scared me because I expected cold chicken. To my delight, the hand-battered chicken was hot and seasoned just right. That chicken was on point! The bread on my sandwich was toasted but cold. Although the sauces were pretty good, we all agreed that the sauces of their primary competitor is better. The two ladies we met in the window were kind. We didn't eat in but like most fast food places, the ambiance is casual. We will definitely look for a PDQ when we travel again.

In general, tasty fresh Chicken prepared in a number of ways. Running around on the 4th of July and my wife asked me to pick up dinner since it was too hot to comfortably cook. We discussed a couple of options and came down to two restaurants and since one was closed for the 4th, ended up at PDQ. Not to say I am not familiar with PDQ even though I had never been to this particular one. Have been a fan of the sister restaurant, Tenders in Cornelius since they opened years ago. Out growth of 131 Main down the street and everything is fresh, never frozen to the point they do not even own a freezer. My wife ordered the Fruit Harvest salad and I can quickly see why she did. Beautiful prepared salad chocked through with fall fruits and nuts. Standard dressing with this one is Blueberry and it was the perfect compliment. Normally I would have gone with a straight Chicken or Buffalo Chicken Sandwich but I wanted to try something different so I tried the Cali Club. Should have stayed with my regular. While not bad, the sandwich lacked taste and contrast. The Avocado and the Ranch Dressing gave a rich yet bland taste with little taste or texture. Next time I will know better and will try something else off the menu. They were busy being a Holiday and yet at the same time, service remained excellent. Still one of my go to places but next time, stick to the basics.

As a San Francisco Bay Area foodie who's been steadily eating my way through Charlotte, I had…read morebookmarked Lee's Sandwiches and was excited to finally give it a try--and overall, it did not disappoint. The concept is refreshingly simple: a straightforward menu of banh mi sandwiches, summer rolls, chips, and prepared foods ready to go. They also offer beer on tap, traditional Vietnamese iced coffee and tea, and fresh fruit smoothies. No frills--just solid, approachable Vietnamese fare. I ordered the #8 Chinese barbecue (char siu) banh mi and requested light pâté and extra vegetables. The sandwich was made to order and came out quickly. One of the owners kindly let me know that pâté typically isn't included on that particular sandwich and didn't charge me for it, which I appreciated. The sandwich itself was good, reasonably priced (around $8-9), and filling. I also ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee, which delivered exactly the caffeine kick I was looking for. It wasn't overly sweet, had beautifully crushed ice, and came with a proper lid--not the plastic film seal you sometimes see at boba shops. Combined, the sandwich and coffee came to about $15, which felt like a great value. The interior is charming and thoughtfully designed. There's a small tuk-tuk display with retail items, traditional Vietnamese decor like bamboo hats on the walls, and even a seating area with low stools that gives a nod to the street-side dining style you'd find in Vietnam. I also loved the creative touch of repurposed Café Du Monde coffee cans holding napkins and chopsticks--simple, clever, and memorable. One small note for authenticity seekers: as someone who grew up with traditional Vietnamese cuisine, I've been searching for the classic old-school imperial rolls made with rice paper that fries up bubbly, crispy, and slightly chewy. The owner confirmed what I've been noticing--that many restaurants in the Charlotte area adapt recipes to American tastes, so that particular style is harder to find here. It wasn't a dealbreaker, just an interesting cultural observation. For my personal taste, the char siu wasn't quite as rich or fatty as the Chinese barbecue versions I'm used to, and the pâté had a slightly bitter note. Next time, I'll likely try the lemongrass pork banh mi and skip the pâté altogether. Insider tip: This is a great spot for a quick, affordable lunch with authentic flavors and fast service. The iced coffee alone is worth the visit. Overall, a cute, well-run neighborhood shop with solid value, friendly service, and a menu that does a few things well. I'll definitely be back to continue exploring the offerings.

They had built and moved to a brand new shop. Iam so happy for them and wish the best for them. Their always quick and consistent with their food. Their banh mis are so delicous. It is usually quiet and not much seating inside to eat in.

Food came pretty fast, which I always appreciate when I'm dining in. Fresh rolls were typical - I especially enjoyed the thick sauce that came with it. Grilled pork was smokeyyy. Phew!!
