I live in Michigan but when out town, I like to try other places that we don't have. 5 stars for the food, the chicken here is excellent! It was expensive though, for $50 we got the family meal: 16 tenders, 4 sides and a salad. If the Q is for quality, then not sure why they can't keep this place clean. The bathroom was very dirty. How hard is it to clean 3 times a day??? Service was just ok, we didn't get plate for our food and only 2 sets of utensils, so no had to ask. Fortunately we were dining in. I've been debating whether or not to give PDQ a try based on reviews. We have so many in the area and I finally decided to give it a shot! I was pleasantly surprised at the quality with this being a fast food place! My honey butter sandwich was juicy, tender, with a crispy exterior and had just the right amount of sweet with the honey butter and the pickles added a nice flavor! The kids chicken nuggets were quite good and packed with a lot of flavor. You can tell the mac n cheese was most likely full of preservatives, but that didn't stop us. It was super creamy and saucy but VERY orange. Curious if there was artificial coloring. The waffle fries weren't hot but they were crispy. The regular shake is very big, I could do a small next time. Overall the staff was very friendly and I was thankful they have a hand washing station without having to go inside the restroom! I have posted several reviews on how most of the workers at this locations are great, and the food is excellent. When I moved to the area about a year ago I started visiting this location twice a week for lunch. But I then slowed to once a week, and now it's sometimes once every 1-2 weeks. Why the change if I enjoy the people and the food? It all comes down to something really simple... they refuse to offer cold bottled beverages. I don't purchase soft drinks during the week, and instead elect for bottled water where I add some sugar free crystal light favoring. And most days (probably 80% or more) of the times I come here, they hand me a bottled water at room temperature. Check out the attached image. More often than not, there is no ice, or barely enough ice to make the drinks cold. This isn't a one time thing- it's like this most days. And this picture wasn't taken at opening and they were still getting ready. It was taken at noon. I understand for many their serving beverages at room temperature may not be a big deal and I understand that. But for me, I'd rather visit another local restaurant who I know will put their waters in the fridge. read more

First time at PDQ and this is the BEST chicken sandwich I've had. We got the waffle fries and spicy chicken sandwich. Loved the pepperjack cheese and the spicy chicken had just the right amount of buffalo sauce. The best part was the excellent service. Everything was done with a smile! It's a family friendly spot, tons of seating inside and it was very busy when we arrived. I'm sad they don't have this place on the west coast, but will definitely adding it to my list of favorites on the east coast! read more

Sometimes people just earn a shoutout!! The crew at this PDQ was amazing today. I am traveling from Bradenton, FL to Naples with a girls lacrosse team of 23 playing in the state final 4. Our girls were super excited to get PDQ as our pregame meal so we just needed the logistics to work on the PDQ side. I spoke to a manager this morning who said just send me an email with each order numbered. I sent the email around 12:40 and when we arrived at 2:15 each girls order was bagged and numbered and CORRECT! Right down to one sandwich order with no tomatoes . Drinks were ready to go too. The whole staff jumped in handing out sauces and other condiments. They were fabulous. We are very grateful for their service. And, as always PDQ's food rocks!! read more

Went again and their spicy chicken sandwiches are fantastic. The kids love it as well. The service is friendly and very quick. The one thing I would say though is while we were completely satisfied with our food, we would prefer to wait a little longer for our fries if it meant they would be served hot to us instead of cold. This is similar to a chick fil a. Chicken sandwiches, fries, lemonade. It is pretty good but not amazing. I got the new honey chicken sandwich. This had a buttery bun and a nicely breaded fried chicken patty. This was probably the best thing on the menu I tried. It got fries as a side. They are very thin. I would say they are just average. Nothing really great about them that makes them stand out. This is the same way I felt about the chicken tenders. I didn't have any problem finishing them, but I don't see me craving then enough to rush back. The lemonade was good. It was like carnival lemonade. Very sugary and made with real lemons. read more

Not impressed at all. We regularly eat at a PDQ in Riverview, FL that is top notch, so we know what PDQ is supposed to be like. We visited this PDQ after visiting FGCU and seeing our oldest daughter at school. This PDQ is definitely not dedicated to quality. There wasn't a single smile on the face of any staff members in the house. Maybe it was busy earlier or they are short staffed but it wasn't busy when we were there just after 2:30 in the afternoon. First, we were given these little half sized cups to get our drinks out of. Ok fine, distribution issues and free refills so not a deal breaker. No one asked if my husband and daughter wanted sauce with their tenders. Then we go to sit and the first two tables we tried to sit at were super sticky. The third was sticky but was not extreme like the first two. Next, I had asked for the PDQ chicken salad with no tomatoes and my salad came out with the tomato. Again not a huge deal, I can pick them off but the biggest problem with the tomatoes put on my salad was that one was split and had a white moldy substance down the entire length of the tomato. Tomatoes aren't white inside like what was on this tomato. The cucumbers looked like they had frozen and were soggy and slimy. The French fries my husband and daughter had looked like they had been sitting for a while and were very greasy. I wish I had thought to take a picture of that tomato. How you even consider serving something like that is beyond me...no one checked the quality on that salad for sure. The only thing that was tasty for our meal was the chicken strips and the chicken on my salad. Oh and there were no paper towels in the men's restroom either. We go to Zaxbys all the time and notice that PDQ next door is almost always busier. I tried PDQ once while we were out of state and thought we would go for It again. The grass isn't greener on the other side!! They don't even water their grass. This was easily the worst fast food I have ever had. My food was bland and almost had a freezer burnt taste to It. I ended up throwing mine out and going next door. We definitely learned our lesson. read more

My friend and I visited the new PDQ in Naples. The food was nothing special. The fries were very salty and with the garlic ranch sauce made it worst so we did ketchup with mayo. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and the breading was sliding off chicken. We sat down to eat and we thought they were going to bring us our drinks but they just forgot to give us our cups. They were busy because of it being new and the lunch rush but they had no clue who the food orders belonged to just running around in circles. The staff that took our orders were very nice. This place seems fairly new so I thought I would give it a try. I like tenders and usually get them from KFC. First the good...for a chicken place the fries are exceptional. Some of the best I can remember having. They are fresh cut and cooked on site. Additionally, a standard order is HUGE and for $2 a great deal. The tenders are a decent size as well. They ask for your name and use it which is a nice touch. Now for the not so good. I have had better tenders elsewhere..even at KFC. For $1.40 a tender I would have expected better. I had the 3 tender meal crispy with fries. My 2 sauces were sweet sriracha and ranch. Coke freestyle. Fries were the skinny kind and seasoned good. Lots of flavor. Ranch was good ranch. I just got a Cali club from here and the chicken was raw. You can see how pink it is and I was still able to see some blood. Super disappointing and unfortunate. If I would've swallowed the bite I took I could've gotten seriously sick. I never write reviews for any restaurants because it doesn't seem worth it, but this place is selling raw chicken and I am not cool with that.
