They also pressured me for my password even after I explained that my computer contains sensitive client banking data, then backtracked and said they didn't need it. For that, they charged almost $300 for a basic cleaning and repaste. Their Google page doesn't even list a proper address, which is concerning for a repair shop. Unprofessional, disorganized, overpriced, disrespectful, and completely lacking in understanding for people with disabilities. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I'd rather trash the laptop than hand it back to Ted -- that says everything about how much I trust his shop.

I put " screen repair" in my Yelp search and was pleasantly surprised when an option came up to request quotes for various services. I clicked YES and before long I had 4 quotes from shops in my immediate vicinity. 3 were for a higher than I wanted to spend price, the fourth was from Mr. Mancuso and he cut their rates in half. Then I noticed the over 10 all 5 star reviews and made up my mind. Not wanting to be without my phone for any longer than an hour or so, I had to wait a few days to try and make an appointment. Mike messaged me( via Yelp) several times to aid in selecting a time and day that would work for both of us. On the day and time chosen he provided me his home address( he works out of it) and I met him there and turned over my device. I agreed to return in about an hour and a half and went on to run some errands, all the while feeling unprepared for life without a phone( albeit for a short time) When I returned his trusty canines alerted him to my arrival and he came out with a pristine screen attached to my several year old phone. He had me check a few things to see that everything worked as it should, and even called me a bit after to make sure that it's actual phone like capabilities were in good condition also. I briefly asked him for advice about upgrading it, and I will eventually use that advice. He did not seemed rushed to converse with me, and I appreciated his thorough and passionate responses. He seems to like his work and it shows. I have zero experience in phone repairs, but I am confident that his expertise and incredibly low price will be a 5 Star experience for others. 5 stars to Yelp for this new request a quote feature, and another 5 to Mr. Mancuso for restoring my screen!

I'm very happy I found this computer repair shop! I had two dead laptops just collecting dust in my…read morehouse that I wanted to donate but they had confidential information on them. I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars to repair them and delete my data only to get rid of them right after. Domain Tech Academy helped me wipe out my hard drive and destroy another one that was just no longer good and then donated them to a good cause for me. I was even able to get a tax receipt for them upon request! The only suggestion for improvement I have is for better communication. I had called and told them I would be stopping by because I wanted to see if my data was in fact deleted off the drives and it was a bit more difficult than I had thought it would be to reinstall the hard drive to show me. After realizing they could not install the hard drive to my personal laptop because it was going to be donated without being completely fixed, they got an external drive and connected it to another laptop to show me it was deleted but it was just a bit confusing and a bit of a wait. Overall, I left satisfied and trust that they handled my laptop and information with care and honesty. I would recommend this place especially because it is run by students still in college who are offering their services at quite a significant discount in order to develop their skills in their fields.
