The guy showed up on time, he was here to replace the old battery in my sons iPhone, because I learned my lesson, in the form of a huge explosion in my kitchen, a fireball, toxic smoke, and panicking children, that Lithium batteries, are nothing to be messed with. Once it was charged I noticed the screen wasn't as bright as it should be. Had an LCD screen vs LED screen. This iPhone comes standard with LED screen if it was actually new. On top of that the phone was to have a one year manufacturer warranty. Turns out there was no warranty and the coverage had expired per the message on the phone regarding coverage. Went to discuss with the owner. He proceeded to show me certified phones with the one year warranty and the LED screen but didn't have anything with 256gig. Each one of his certified phones did not have any warranty. And his position is I'm' stuck with it as his store was the only open store during the "Snow Emergency" as he put it. More like misrepresentation. I bought the phone and paid over $600 for it thinking it was new as I was told by the sales rep. She happened to be there when I came back...and said she did not know it was a refurbished phone...she was doing what her boss told her. Besides being misrepresentation it's fraud and I'm sure I'm not the only one that has had this type of experience here. Rather then fix the problem he was adamant of his position it was during a "Snow Emergency" and feels it's legal to price gauge. Wrong buddy....I bought it as it was represented as a NEW phone; period. And if I show up 2 weeks later that does not negate the fact that he sold me a REFURBISHED phone. He knew later that day after I bought the phone when he got a call from a co-worker that referred me to him and didn't have the decency to call. And yet again when you saw me when you were visiting my co-worker and didn't say a thing. That shows his utter guilt. Even my co-worker looked at the screen and said it was an LCD and not LED...but said the guy would fix it. I was willing to be reasonable when I came in...and willing to pay a bit more than the market rate for a refurbished phone but was unwilling to discuss anything of the sort. He then had the audacity to ask me if I had the receipt then said the receipt didn't say whether the phone was new or used. I'm sure a Judge would rule that based on the evidence I was buying a new phone and the receipt would show used if he represented the phone as being used vs. new. The owner will probably laugh when he sees this review. Go ahead and laugh. You pissed on the wrong tree.

The next day I went back to the store and as I was getting out of my car, the man that sold me those items (and I am guessing he is the store owner as well) was walk my out as I was walk my in. He asked what had happened and I told him about my charger. He told me to go ahead and talk to the girl behind the counter and proceeded to leave. When I got inside, the girls phone was ringing, and it was the man I had just spoken with. He told her to tell me it was my fault that the charger wasn't working and that they would not exchange it. He said the best they could do was sell me another one for 10 dollars. It's not the money that bothers me here it's the principle. He waited to leave and call her and have her do his dirty work when he could have just told me face to face. And I would also prefer a store that takes a little better care of their customers.
