I have my own feelings about Dr. Karimjee but I'll leave them out the review since I'm not nor will I ever be a patient of his. He made a statement to a family member that rubbed me the wrong way. This establishment was very unorganized and could use maintenance primarily with cleaning. When in the room with the doctor and another nurse, it felt really cramped and claustrophobic. It also felt like I was being talked at and belittled rather than talked to for the concerns I had. When I gave them the pharmacy of my choosing they told me it didn't exist and they could not find it but the pharmacy notified me that my prescription was ready later that day. Overall the experience was not great and I decided to go with a different doctor. If you want a doctor that listens and is open about your care, I do not recommend this location. read more

Would not recommend, the office staff is very confused. One might tell you you fine other might tell you you need to do something else. I failed a sleep study 11 months ago and still not able to get a c pap machine per my cardiologist recommendation for my health purposes. took 2 weeks for dr to review and provide results. when called to inquire about it the customer service representative seamed bother by my questions and rudely said someone will call back. when someone finally called back they just gave the diagnosis with no other explanation or recommendations. About 10 years ago I use to go to the clinic in Splendora and was very pleased with it. NOT THIS TIME AROUND. After too much radiation at a cancer hospital, it left me with a fractured tailbone that will not heal,so i can no longer sit down. a messed up spine that a nerve is sticking out of and has given me peripheral neuropathy, foot drop and I can only walk a little with a walker. I have to wear leg braces. That said, all I needed was 1 simple refill of my pain med. After 45 minutes of seeing nurse then doc and I'm walking out of the room, doc says; we can't fill that prescription We can only give u Tylenol 3 or 4. That's not gonna work I'm thinking but it was 100.00 for the visit so I'll try it. Here we are 5 DAYS LATER and I've YET to receive the medication!! Why? The doc sent it to the wrong pharmacy. Then the people at the "call center"-the people u talk to when you call and THINK it's the drs office. Ive talked to them every day when my med has not been sent to my pharmacy. So far it's gone to 3 different pharmacies and even one on Louetta Blvd! I live no where close to it! Still in pain. I'm angry. I'll never go see a doc there again. I posted a one star review last year because of their wait time. They had zero respect for your time like you didn't have a life other than visiting them. You would think you had been forgotten while you are inside the examination room. Some employees were not people person. I switched to a different dr and now back here again. I was pleasantly surprised that their staff are friendlier this time and wait time is about 5-10 minutes!!! They also post test results within 24 hours! Let this be a warning: In my opinion, PCP for Life should be called PCP for Death! It was our experience that they are incompetent on every medical level. We are new to Texas and they were close so we gave them a try. While they are happy to send you out for tests -- because Medicare pays them for that -- they are unbelievably slow in getting the results. My last experience was an ultrasound test that was immediately sent to PCP. They first told us that it needed to be read. Then they said they never received it in the first place -- which was a lie! The ultrasound facility had to resend it to them 4 times! A month after the test results were available I demanded a copy of the test and brought to a real doctor! That's the other problem: You NEVER see a real doctor. All they have are nurses and you don't get to see the same one when you go back -- so no one there has any real knowledge of what your health situation actually is! The ill-trained reception staff has a standard answer to all of your questions: "I don't know!" -- Actually they mean "I don't care!" Lastly, when you either make an appointment or check on whether or not they have lost your test result; you are talking to someone in INDIA! They are nearly impossible to understand because of their extremely heavy accent and also their obvious lack of knowledge of the English language. And then they have the audacity to lie about where they are: They say they are in Houston, where Dr. Najmuddin K. Karimje, MD runs this enterprise. I assume that he can understand what they are saying, but I certainly can't. This 'medical' facility, in my opinion, is purely a money making operation -- NOT a medical facility. Well, I am really disappointed about this PCP for Life Clinic in Magnolia. Three year ago it was good, they use to sent medicine on time, and the call center for medicine refill were nice. Unfortunately, my husband and I have been having issues with medication refill, and when we call to asked them about our medicine, they get rude telling us that the doctor have never authorize the high blood pressure medicine. In my husband side the refill calling center argue that they had already sent the medicine and that we should have it already. When I contact the pharmacy, they stated, that they have been calling the doctor for about 3 weeks to get a pre- approval from a doctor. I. have to wait for them until the fill pike sending the medicine to us. Really disappointed. Rude people from the refills department . gotten and they can not authorize more. I have to call the pharmacy asking them, why we are not getting the medicine and they respond that , they have been calling the clinic because the medicine for diabetes needs to be pre- authorize by the doctor. I used to work for this practice, and now I go there as a patient. I think the fact that I worked there, and this is now where I choose to get my care says a lot. I do not recommend working there, but I like the practice as a patient. There are many locations, and they can always get you in quickly. Usually, same day, especially if you are flexible about which location you go to. I want to address some of the other reviews I saw on here, because I found some to be inaccurate and probably biased by grouchiness. The call center is not in another country. I was sent to work twice in the clinic that houses the call center. It is in Magnolia. If you go to that clinic, you can see the room it's in. Some of the employees there may be originally from other countries, but you are not calling India. Although, I do want to say that I would like to be able to specifically call the clinic I went to, rather than the call center, and if you google that specific location, you will still get the call center. Also, there are plenty of actual Doctors working for PCP for life. Many practitioners are NP's or PA's, but if you want an MD, tell the call center that you specifically want to be seen by an MD. Another thing is that one reviewer was complaining that there is a long wait to see Dr Karimjee. That is because you are specifically requesting the Dr that heads the whole practice. He has MANY loyal patients who want to be seen by him, specifically. Plus, as the reviewer stated, he takes time with each patient. He doesn't rush them through. I like to go see Dr. Joeseph Sande in Montgomery. I don't really want to state that here, as he already has so many patients who want to see him, and I like being able to get in when I need to, but it's the truth. He is an excellent Dr. He, also, takes the time with each patient, and has a wonderful and caring disposition. The negative about PCP for life is that they move the employees around quite a bit, and as an employee, I heard a lot of patients state that they saw new faces every time they came in. read more

Been seeing Dr. Karimjee at this location for the past four years. Dr. Karimjee is a caring compassionate doctor. He will take the time to go over all your medical conditions and recommend treatment. However, as of two weeks ago, with a heavy heart, as I did like the doctor I was seeing, I decided to change doctors. The main reason for switching is the time you spend waiting for your appointment. You get to the office on time (or earlier) and sign in. Then you sit around for thirty minutes to over an hour before you even get taken back to the exam room. Then you wait another thirty to forty five minutes waiting for the doctor to come and see you. If you value your time, I would not recommend this doctor's office. read more

The staff at the Montgomery clinic are very nice but the Doctor is terrible. I needed him to sign forms and dropped them off in January. He went out of town in February, told me the nurse could fill them out in March and in April decided that only he could complete them. His next appointment is not until July. I used this place before and now my parents uses this practice. I love the doctors! I trust them with my parents care now. Only complaint would be long hold time on the phone. I recently visted the East Mongomery Co. office for expedience since the doctor nearest my location wasn't available until next week. I had just returned from a trip to East Europe, which I had to interrupt due to an acute viral infection acording to the doctor at the hospital in Sofia, Bulgsria. My appointment was at 11:00am, however I waited about 2 1/2 hours before I saw the Dr. Daudjee. He takes his time and listens, but his diagnose of a viral respiratory infection was questionable since I had never coughed or weezed once since my illness began 9 days ago. I had visited the Louetta location last August for an annual physical. Later that month I received a call from their office stating that my blood sugar level indicated border line Type 2 diabetes. My refill of thyroid medication level was reduced without any explanation as to why. When ever my thyroid meds level had been reduced before I experienced adverse symptoms shortly afterwards. I find it disconcerting that three months later there has been zero contact or follow through from this office regarding these two issues. I finally called today & had to explain three (3) times to the person who answered the phone what I needed. She had the attention span of a squirrel and keep talking while I tried to set her straight. Needless to say my experience with this outfit has not been positive and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone seeking quality care. read more

They are never on time here. I even try to get the first appointment of the day. Here I am on a Sunday, first person with an appointment at 8am. They unlock the doors at 8, scurry around to get paper work and then put you back in an examination room. It is now 9:10 and apparently the PA isn't even here yet. There are three people in exam rooms, and the waiting room now has 3 people. The nurses just keep saying it should be anytime now. When I ask what should be the best time, they advised 1st thing in the morning. I would recommend going anywhere else, where they may at least value your time. Greenspoint location bad customer service, hispanic girls are very nice and greet you once you come in. Dr Rheddy is the best but the receptionist sucks! She dont even talk to you and don't even explain procedures or sign ins. 2 out 3 times bad service. Completely incompetent staff. Dr. Karimjee is a good doctor but he is literally NEVER there. The nurse practitioners and nurses there really dont kbow what they are doing. Their mission is to ensure your health is a priority or whatever the case may be; however, all they are aiming to do is make claims on you behalf so they can get paid. My experience here has been completely horrible and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who needs quality healthcare. I have been without medication for a 1 week (which needs to be taken daily) and they did not send in the authorization to the insurance in time, which is causing me to not take my medication for even longer. They say our health is important to them but u find that hard to believe. I had been calling them EVERYDAY since last Wednesday (exactly 1 week ago) for them to do their job. When I call them because I'm frustrated and need them to take my health serious, they hang up in my face. Repeatedly bill for services not performed, after nurse removes for not performed her or doctor billing department adds back to charge and send to insurance since insurance want pay I am then billed. If I don't pay the bill for services not performed, PCP for life will no allow me to see the doctor after discussing what happen to the billing. So I pay so I can see the doctor. Request a bill before leaving now PCP for life will not print a bill, once PCP for life sends bill to insurance same service items not performed is on bill once again. Billing department determines what services are performed, they don't listen to nurse, bad business, since billing not present during my visit with doctor and nurse. I brought this issue to attention of doctor and nurse, they refuse to assist. The facility/office manger will not return my calls. Advise not to visit this location. Natalie should not be practicing medicine. a family member went to see her and Natalie brought her in and told her she had Syphilis. If Natalie truly knew medicine she would have had a confirmation test done. As it turns out my family member got a call from the county and asked her to come down and take the confirmation test at no charge to her. As it turns she did not have it. out Natalie did not follow normal medical practice before advising a client such devastating news. The county says that diagnosis of Syphilis is not common in the US and medical procedure is to ask the client to get a confirmation test before confronting her spouse, etc. Clearly she does not have proper training and needs to go back to school. read more

I have never been treated so rudely in my life! I called my new insurance for a listing in the Conroe area and was given the closest office to my home, that of this office in Montgomery. I called to make an appointment and was rudely told that I didn't know the name of my own insurance, that this office doesn't take my insurance, and that I needed to call my insurance and find out what it was called. I asked to speak to the billing dept, and was assisted by a woman that said although they don't take NX Health Network, they do take Capital (the parent company). Both women were unprofessional in their manner, and when I asked to make an appointment, the woman in billing shouted 'Stephanie, this lady wants to make an appt for today', and transferred my call. The call then rang and rang, and I finally gave up. If this is the front line staff, can the back office be any better? Don't walk. Run. It's bad when you decide you'll wait to go to the Dr instead of dealing with this type of treatment. read more

I have been going to the Louetta Office for many years and have been treated very well, time for wait sometimes is outrageous, they do take walk ins so that can be a issue with wait time. The real problem is that you never see a doctor, always a PA, when I first started going I always saw Dr. Karimjee, he was Great ! Now to many clinics and he does not do hospitals..Thinking of changing doctor office due to my age,need one on one care from a doctor not a PA..Office is close to my home so in a pinch it works out..GR read more

Now they require to have Dr present to get some presciptions and they are rarely at Louetta location. Causes you to make several visits costing you extra. Or you need to chase them around and hope they have openings available at other non convenient locations. read more
