Londonderry Dodge Chrysler Jeep - New Car Showroom

Londonderry Dodge has become the spot for our family to purchase new and used vehicles. We have…read moreall had great experiences here, and feel that they deserve more credit than they are being given. When I first visited Londonderry while looking for a new (used) vehicle for myself, the sales person we were working with made me feel like he genuinely cared about finding me the perfect car. He listened to what I was looking for and took my budget into consideration to help me find some choices to pick from. The first car he showed me, a Chrysler 200, I wasn't sold on. It just didn't feel right. He then showed me a Dodge Dart, which I felt was nice but didn't think was the car for me. I was convinced I wanted the Fiat 500 that had I had seen on their website, so I took it for a drive. I believed that was the one for me, so we did up the paperwork and put a hold on it. The next day, I returned determined that I wanted that car still. We looked at the Dart again, but I still wasn't sure. The guys here were understanding when I requested my deposit back and told them I was going to look somewhere else. I spent all day car shopping for a Fiat, but couldn't find what I was looking for. Something in me was pulling me back to Londonderry. So, I returned again, this time determined that I was going to buy the Dodge Dart. They were nice enough to let me take it home for the weekend to test drive it and decide if it was really the one I wanted this time. Well, guess what? This morning, I went and bought that Dart! The original sales guy who showed it to me definitely knew what he was doing when he showed me that car! I want to give a big shout-out to everyone who helped me out at Londonderry Dodge in the last few days - You guys made me feel like I was more than just another customer. I'm glad I decided to give them my business, and will continue to from here on out!

DO NOT BUY!!!!…read more Londonderry dodge sold my poor elderly father a jeep later turned out it was either in a car accident or so shoddily made that it might as well have been. The issue was the steering column which I noticed immediately that had to be replaced which then required the steel frame to be fixed in place. The idiot salesman was busy on his phone and downplayed the steering column concern. Not only that he was too stupid to know if the jeep had a car block heater. Turned out the cord was hidden and he was too lazy to look. So why did my elderly father buy it? Because a deer ran into his car. So welcome to Londonderry where the deer are their greatest salesman.

I often say that everyone makes mistakes, but you can truly judge character by how one handles them. I don't really know what to say other than I appreciate her efforts. I don't ever write reviews to inform businesses of my unhappiness, only to inform other potential customers. If you have had a negative experience here, I encourage you to reach out to Krysta, there is no doubt she will do whatever she can to try to fix it. My friend is happy and can now truly enjoy her vehicle while putting this negative experience behind her. I'm going to give their service department a try since I've heard good things.

1 STAR -- BUYERS FROM OUT OF TOWN, READ THIS BEFORE YOU MAKE THE DRIVE…read more I live approximately five hours from River City Hyundai in Edmonton, so I made it extremely clear from the beginning that I could not simply "come down and see what happens." I was shopping for a 2026 Santa Fe Ultimate Calligraphy Hybrid AWD and was quoted a very competitive price of $56,398. I was initially told approximately $18,000 for my trade, and the paperwork I was subsequently given showed a $16,660 trade allowance, subject to inspection. Because I live five hours away, I specifically discussed the trade and the condition of my vehicle before making the trip. I made it clear that I would not the deal if the payment increased significantly. I was reassured that as long as my vehicle was in good condition, there should be no problem. This wasn't some mystery vehicle they knew nothing about. It is a Hyundai, and I disclosed the mileage. My local Hyundai dealership had already physically inspected it and offered $15,500. Based on River City Hyundai's representations and paperwork, we proceeded. I obtained insurance on the new vehicle, my husband took time off work, we spent the money on fuel and drove five hours to Edmonton. We arrived. The new Santa Fe was exactly the vehicle represented to me. Then they inspected my trade. Suddenly my vehicle was supposedly worth only: $11,000. Not $18,000. Not the $16,660 shown on the paperwork. $11,000. That's a $5,660 reduction from the written trade allowance after we drove five hours to get there. And somehow another Hyundai dealership that had actually inspected the exact same vehicle in person could offer $15,500. I cannot speak to anyone else's experience or what River City Hyundai intended. I can only tell you exactly what happened to us. But here's my opinion: a great deal isn't a great deal if the numbers don't survive the customer's arrival at the dealership. I had specifically explained why I needed accurate numbers BEFORE making a ten-hour round trip. They knew how far away we lived. They knew the mileage. They knew I couldn't afford substantially higher payments. They reassured me enough that I insured the new vehicle and made the trip. If they genuinely believed my trade could potentially drop by more than $5,600 after inspection, I would have expected that risk to be made crystal clear before a customer drove five hours. Instead, we arrived after investing our time and money and were presented with a completely different financial reality. Maybe they expected that after driving five hours, paying for insurance, burning the gas and taking time off work, we'd feel too invested to walk away. They underestimated us. We walked. I would rather drive five hours home empty-handed than spend years making payments on a deal I told them from the beginning I wanted in writing which they did but changed it anyway! River City Hyundai didn't lose this sale because I changed my mind about the vehicle. I loved the vehicle. They lost the sale because the numbers I travelled five hours for weren't the numbers waiting for me when I arrived. My advice to anyone travelling from outside Edmonton: do not make the trip based on preliminary trade numbers. Get the trade value as firmly documented as possible, ask exactly what could cause it to change after inspection, and be completely prepared to walk away. I did. Five hours there. Five hours home. Expensive lesson learned. One star.

I finally decided to test out a 2009 Audi S5 at TAB and was introduced to Jacob. The car looked great and had all the specs I was looking for. Jacob assured me that if I ran into any problems, he would take care of them. No one wants problems, especially when buying your own personal vehicle. Well there were some minor problems, wheel balancing and some fluid levels, but Jacob jumped into action and addressed everything and then some. I was really impressed!!! He took what could have been a bad experience and turned it right around. I still go by on occasion and have a coffee with the guys at TAB because I really do feel like family.

Kudos to the sales team!! I was contacted by the service department that my vehicle was due for a service, could they make an appt. for me. Fantastic! I booked for Oct. 15th at 10:00. I arrived at 9:50, checked in with the service advisor and went to the customer lounge, walked around the showroom, etc...At 10:45 I looked outside and saw my vehicle parked against the fence with another one behind it. I asked the service advisor if there was a problem, he told me that he had talked to his manager about the delay already. At 11:15 I asked for my keys back and left. What's the purpose of an appt.??? I called the service person that had made the appt. for me later to ask exactly that question, and was told that the appt. time is the time that I meet the service advisor, then he will assign the job to the next available technician. When I questioned that, I was told "that is the process". Seriously??? I have never heard anything so ridiculous in my life!! You drive up to the door, it opens, and you drive in to the service advisors desk!! It was going in for an oil change, not an engine rebuild!! While I like to support the dealership where I purchased my vehicle, if this is Waterloo's process for a simple service, they have lost this customer. NOT IMPRESSED!! Doug G.
