Overall, my experience was not as good as I thought it would be and the price I paid certainly didn't match up with the car I was given. Mandeep and Stephany were really good and helped me get into the car I was looking for, moonroof, heated seats, ect. However, the car I test drove and the car I received didn't have the same regular features. The car I test drove had power seating but the car I bought had manual adjusted seats. I wasn't told the car I bought had manual seating until after I had purchased it and was disappointed that I spent all that money for manual seats, when the rest of the car had all these upgraded features. There was a little miscommunication when it came time to pick up my vehicle, the salesmen didn't know anything about the car starter, and I found a dirty and wrong size trunk cover in the back of my new car. If I didn't go through it, I would have driven away with dirty, mismatch accessories. However, I spoke with Kyle (manager) and he compensated me for my troubles with free gas and a car wash. However, when I got my car back it was covered with circular scratches that come from an automated car wash. I also purchased a protection spray for my car, but it doesn't seem like its protecting from anything! I have scratches on my car and rust underneath.2/10 would not recommend. read more

I was rear ended and my old vehicle was written off by insurance in January 2025. After looking online and test driving others, I found a used Kia Soul EX on sale at Northside Mitsubishi. Our sales rep was Jun and he was very pleasant to deal with. We were not pressured into buying any additional warranty, upgrades, etc, so we bought it in cash for asking price + GST. After taking the new vehicle to my regular mechanic, he alerted us to an engine ticking noise that was alarming and I should have it checked out. I contacted the used vehicle manager Kyle who asked us to bring it in and have it looked at. He agreed to have it sent to their sister store (Sherwood Kia) to be diagnosed and tested for power train warranty (Kia is 100,000km). He also provided us with a loaner vehicle to use while our Kia was in service, which was offered before I had asked for it. The service manager Chase liaised between Sherwood Kia and myself to keep me updated of the claim into Kia Canada for engine warranty. They had my Kia for a total of 5 weeks during which I put about 1000km on the loaner vehicles during that time. Kia Canada ended up covering a new engine under warranty, which was completed by the sister shop, and I didn't have to pay for anything. They even reinstalled the block heater my regular mechanic had installed for us after purchase. 4/5 stars because Northside Mitsubishi took responsibility for the engine concerns, I wish it hadn't been an issue I had to deal with originally, but they handled it very professionally. read more

If I could give them half a star rating, I would! Worst customer service I have ever received in my life. They sold me a car that didn't have air conditioning, while promising that I would be scheduled for the gas to be filled as soon as possible. After that, I just kept getting tossed around for months. Even after I called and explained the fact that myself and my toddler are extremely allergic to dust, pollen and bacteria that generally hangs in the air. I cannot drive around without my windows down due to a heatwave. These people are heartless, do not do business with them unless you want to be treated like garbage. I am a human being and so is my child. We matter. I'm wondering if you would treat us this way if we weren't people of colour? I'll get my AC fixed on my own but be rest assured I will not be letting this go. read more

My partner and I went to Northsude Mitsubishi to look into a possible trade in. We had Kyle help us (he's hilarious and very friendly) he looked into the type of vehicle we were looking for and price range. When we advised that we would be able to look into a different type of vehicle if it fit better into our price range. Kyle ended up finding us exactly what we wanted. We did our financing for the loan through their financing department. The deal that Hoda was able to get us for the financing of the vehicle was better then the three quotes I had written out by the banks. From complete lack of communication between sales staff and finance managers, to "no room to negotiate" for anything really extra on a new vehicle. We actually decided to get a car from these idiots, pending we got the 0% financing. We honestly got called by at least 5 different finance managers, sales people, and actual managers, they all wanted to know when we were coming in to finalize everything. We wanted to know one thing before we came in, what was our financing rate? Over 7 days time not one of those people could "track down our file" and to just come in. Brutal, so you dont know where all my credit information is? Its a shame too, those mitsubishi's are very nice cars with great warranties. We ended up getting a vehicle at Alberta honda, which was a great experience, we were also able to negotiate a bunch of extra stuff with the car, and get the financing rate the same day. If I can divert at least one person from shopping at North Side Mitsubishi I feel it would make the world a better place. read more

The prices for service far exceed the reasonnable expectations and quotes of other shops around the city. They'll never see me there again, and I just moved here...you'd think that at the cost of service they charge they'd want to see me come around, but there's no flexibility, and honestly. It's hard to trust a business that charges just about 40% more than the next door competitor right off the bat, on top of the service. read more

I have had a series of terrible experiences with this locations service department. My starter and battery crapped out in my 2009 Outlander. While waiting four days for them to get the part and install it, I had to pay for my won rental. Then when they were finished my vehicle was returned with a broken CD player and it wouldn't heat up. Brought it back, they did fix the CD player but said nothing was wrong with my heating system. They said they checked everything and could find nothing wrong. Curious because a week later (after the holidays) I brought it to another reliable mechanic and they found my coolant needed to be flushed and my thermostat was failing! I had a really good experience here. I found them using "unhaggle" via AMA website. I did not pay to use unhaggle and they offered me the best price by far. Jazz was not pushy at all compared to Westside and when showing me pricing for the 2016's and 2017's, he exposed that Westside's numbers were not adding up at all to 2016's pricing being more than the 2017's. Jazz did not prevent me from leaving the store like Westside did for a medical appointment in the middle of shopping. I am so glad Jazz called me back when I had at first dismissed him thinking I had it under control with Westside. Now, the only thing is a light came up on my dash in regards to the tire pressure monitoring system at 65km (day of driving off lot) on my 2017, so will see how this is handled and will report back. read more

Whatever you do. Do not get your car serviced here! Just had my evo in for routine maintenance and because the hood scoop was getting put back on after being repainted. Bad enough that I was also getting the scratches they left all over my car were getting touched up for the second time. They also left a huge gash on the front right of my bumper that I know sure as hell wasn't there before. Looks like when they do their routine maintenence joy ride that someone hit the ramp up to the building too hard because the undreside of the bumper is scratched too, it's bad enough that it would have to be sanded and repainted. They treat your car like absolute crap here. If they actually are willing to fix yet another scratch they put on my car and even if they are going to do it properly I probably will not go back to this awful service department. And I sure as hell am not willing to let them do the sanding and repainting. Bet they won't be willing to pay for the rental while the damages they caused are being fixed too. I bought a Mitsubishi Outlander 2018 GT from this dealership and my experience with this dealership started of smoothly and then it went really rough. I was dealing with Ivan and dealing with him and this sales person over promised under delivered all he cared about was to get the car out of the lot. Firstly, we went over the pricing which was over priced but my main reason to go through this dealership was that he mentioned I will service you for life and trust me these were his words. He mentioned to me that he would give us a free oil change for life and a free gas for a month if you bought it through this dealer ship and the other dealership was offering a 60" LCD TV and that was in Edmonton So the colour that I was looking for they did not have it in stock and it would arrive by Feb 2018. So, in meanwhile I mentioned to Naomi from Finance that I am in the process of buying the house and you guys don't even have the colour that I am looking for she mentioned to me since it won't be here until Feb it wouldn't show up on your credit bureau from what I understood was incorrect but she insisted that it wouldn't. Anyways signed all the paperwork and saw a notification on my credit bureau auto loan account has been added and this point I didn't want to move forward because of all this and lies I was told and this was just before the end of December. So that jeopardize my plan to buy the house and I spoke to the Dealership Manager and he said at this point they can't do anything and I mentioned to him about how you guys provided me with the wrong information and that impacted my decision of buying a house. At this point all I could do is wait for the car to arrive. So Feb came and I got a call from Ivan to pickup the car. We went over the things I told them to add and this was not done as they did not have the part and asked me to come and have it installed once the parts are at the Dealership. I told Ivan that since I am moving out of province what could he do for the gas and he said he will get me a cheque worth for a month of gas and I was fine with it. So, he said when I will be in next time he will have the cheque ready for me. Finally the parts arrived and I went to get it installed and I mentioned to Ivan about the cheque he would keep for me he told me that he spoke with his manager and they can't do this so I was pretty upset with this as he totally under delivered and whatever he promised was a total lies. He said he could reimburse me for my last gas and I provided the receipt and till now I haven't got anything and I have been following up on it and now he doesn't even reply back and even cancelled my call. From their I spoke with Naomi and mentioned to her that Ivan promised me to reimburse me for the gas and I haven't got anything till now she said she will look into this and get back to me and since then I haven't heard anything back and this point I decided to post a review so that people who are looking to purchase their vehicle should avoid this dealership. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone and after spending $47,000 I have realized that I will over pay but go through a dealership that's worth my time and money. To everyone out there when you are dealing with such Dealership ask them to document their promises as all they cared about was to get the car out their lot. Never ever I will go to this dealership and I will post this review on every possible website so that people are aware of this dealership. read more

While all the other Mitsubishi was offering 0% financing, they offered normal bank rate, which was 6-7%. Told me it is free to pay off the loan at anytime but forgot to tell me the 60 dollar fee to start the loan and 35 dollars to close the loan. It doesn't seem much but my only reason to get financing was to get the 500 dollar rebate, after the 6.2% interest for a month and the 100 dollar fee, not so much left. If they said anything earlier, I would paid cash...They might think everyone knows that but I told them that it is my first time financing so I have no idea how it works....SO expected them to be more informative or at least honest. Also didn't get any gift except a key chain and a plate holder. They claimed they didn't make a penny as they give me such a good deal but I also paid more than 3k for extended warranty and paint protection. I know from these add-ons, they make the most profit. read more

The vehicle was advertised as having blue tooth and when we were doing the final walk around check, it became apparent that it did not have the blue tooth device but was wired to have it installed. We were very pleased that it got installed for us as soon as the part arrived. Given that this was our first buy from a car dealership, we were very happy with the experience and thought the whole process was very quick and easy. Went in with pre-arranged financing, and told the associate that we had a certain amount of money to play with. We told them this amount and asked for their used car team to find us a good vehicle that would match our needs with our budget. The associate told us that he had found a match with a vehicle located at a dealership owned by the same owner in Leduc. The associate was clear that all negotiations will take place with his manager. The manager brought himself into the associates cubicle, after our test drive, only to tell us that we don't have enough money to buy the vehicle they had picked out for us. You know I get that our pre-arranged financing perhaps wasn't enough for any of your stock in all of the dealerships owned by this owner, but it was prudent for them to tell us that upfront, instead of trying to squeeze us with greasy sales tactics and misguided dealings. We noticed that throughout our interactions with this sales team, that it was the manager who was pushy. Our designated sales associate was straight forward and possessed a good deal of common sense (perhaps the grease hadn't really affected him yet as he told us he was only a month and a bit into this job). My experience in life has told me that you're only as good as your management allows you to be...and this manager destroyed the deal. read more

I bought my Outlander in 2007. At the time they did not have a block heater for that vehicle and told me as soon as one was available they would install it at no charge. Eight years later and I will have to go to Southside Mitsubishi to get one installed at my cost (they get the best reviews of the Mitsubishi dealerships in all of Edmonton.) When I contacted Mitsubishi Canada they told me I shouldn't worry about it as my car was designed to start without one (it can take 45 minutes to start when temperatures reach -18 or below) and that I should just keep working with the dealership to resolve this. Really?!! After 7 1/2 years of being blown off by one of their dealers and they couldn't care less. I would never recommend a Mitsubishi to anybody (poor service, expensive maintenance, etc.) but if you were to buy one I would completely avoid Northside Mitsubishi (and possibly Westside Mitsubishi as I have been told that they have the same owner.) Do yourself a favour and look at a more reputable car manufacturer with a better service record. read more
