Fantastic local business -- honest, meticulous, and genuinely helpful!…read moreI called to have my dryer vent cleaned because the dryer had stopped working and was displaying a "clean filter" warning, even though I routinely clean the filter. Mike came out and was fantastic from the moment he arrived. He was incredibly respectful of my home--he took his shoes off before coming inside without me asking, was extremely careful about my personal space, and vacuumed everything up afterward, leaving the area cleaner than he found it. He was also just a genuinely pleasant person to deal with. But what impressed me most was that the dryer vent was only part of the issue. Rather than simply doing the job I had called for and leaving, Mike took the time to try to figure out what was behind the dryer warning disabling the machine. My dryer is now operating, and I avoided an appliance repair service call, along with the aggravation, time, and expense associated with it. That kind of honesty and problem-solving is hard to find. I will absolutely be calling Amazon Air Duct for whole-house air duct cleaning this fall. HIGHLY recommend!

All the other companies we called had an advertised rate for duct cleaning then what seemed to be hidden charges 'per register' for any registers over their advertised number plus intakes etc. This is extremely misleading and jacks up the cost considerably. East Coast does not operate this way. They offered a flat fee for my single heatpump system. Regardless of the number of registers and intakes we had on the system. That was it. Flat fee! Simple! If we had a split system(two systems for separate areas of the house), that would have been a higher fee but still a flat rate. No hidden charges whatsoever. A welcomed way to do business in this hidden fee riddled field. The service was prompt, clean, efficient and very reasonable. They even repaired a couple of vent covers that were not screwed on well when they took them off to clean them at no charge. All in all we were very satisfied with East Coast, would recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them in the future. 5 stars! Thanks, Mike G. Chantilly, VA
