I bought an old, rusty, pocked and ugly unusable steel bike frame to replace a broken stationary bike I used for several winters. PCA sandblasted the frame and powder coated it laser black. The job was completed in a week, for the original quoted price. The result was amazing! The sandblasting made this rough frame smooth, and the powder coating is thick, smooth, uniform and brilliant! This was well worth the cost and I would not hesitate for a second to take something else to PCE if I needed a great job done. read more

I have had many pieces powder coated before it changed ownership and was very pleased with the outcome. This time I dropped off three outdoor items in January 2020 and said I was not in a hurry as long as it was done for the Spring. I put down 50% deposit and waited. I called in March and was told it would be done by the end of the month. I called again in April and was told they would call me when they were done. It is now May and I have left messages with no return reply. I understand that the COVID Stay-at-Home rules may affect the turn around but I feel I have been more than patient. The pieces are not difficult, two stands for gazing ball, bird bath and a wind catcher. I don't know if I'll every get the pieces back again but I know one thing, I will not use them in the future! read more

I've been restoring an old Honda CBX for a couple of years, and when I finally gave in to the fact that I was going all the way with it, I needed to find a place to refinish the frame and a lot of other parts. The Google turned these guys up, and although their web site was kind-of meh, when I spoke to them on the phone I knew I had located my place. Going through the door confirmed it: their small showroom was filled with displays of beautiful refinished motorcycle and car parts, cylinders with polished edges, two-color projects, wheels, you name it. Gorgeous stuff. I unloaded every black bit from my bike to them, and then brought back my wheels and chrome work, which they then sent out for me. I then brought back every aluminum piece I wanted to polish and they did that too. I then brought my entire engine after I painted it with high-temperature paint, and they baked it for me. Are you getting the picture? If you're restoring a bike in New England, you need to visit these guys. The prices were quite reasonable, the service and advice outstanding, and the quality flawless. I've since shipped them odds and ends that got overlooked, and asked their advice, they are always helpful and gracious. I couldn't be any happier with the quality, service, price, any of it. I found out about this company from the owner's inlaws. They not only restore engines, they also powder coat house heating radiators. I was doing a bathroom renovation in our 1940 home and, although I love the radiators and radiant heat, I was contemplating replacing the radiator. Nothing can make these old things look good again.........BUT WAIT! I took the small radiator to these folks and I can honestly say I have never seen such a thing of beauty! Not only did they sand-blast off all the old paint, they coated it with the most beautiful perfectly white finish. (BTW, they have many colors to choose from). Their service was quick, friendly and very reasonable. If you own one of the many older homes on the Seacoast and are thinking of replacing those old radiators, give these folks a call and find out how reasonable and beautiful they can make them! read more

Had a bit of a delay on some brake calipers BUT it was worth it. Caught the owner at a bad time with time away for Bike Week and then an equipment issue. He couldn't have been nicer to deal with and was sorry about the delays. The result was worth the wait. Great job and beautiful finish on some rough castings that will now match my coilovers. Previous work with him for other auto parts and some hot air registers (home heating) was also perfect. Highly recommended. Easily 4 1/2 stars, would have been 5 stars but for the delay issues. worst company I have ever done business with. promise after promise for an item dropped off in October that was to take 4-6 weeks to complete. After several phone calls, with no return calls, and chasing this company, again with several broken commitments the product was completed in May. in addition they want you to pay up front for their services. when the product was picked up after 7 months, I was told they would mail us a check for the delay, needless to say 3 weeks later and we haven't seen it. After calling and speaking with the owner who said " I will call you tomorrow" ...not any big surprise, he didn't call back.!! read more

This is my first auto rebuild so I don't have a lot of shops I can trust. I liked talking to Cory at Powder Coat Alternatives so I gave them a try. They blasted, applied zinc and powder coated four rims for a 1964 Triumph Spitfire. Clearly they know the passion that goes with working on cars and had my rims back in no time. The color matched original and they look great. I will be going back as more parts need powder coating. read more

I took a rusted plant stand with a partially rotted out bottom for a powder coat of green. The sandblasting was accomplished without further injury to the rusted areas. The choice of which green was right on the money. And the powder coat was smooth as silk and made the stand look like new. I am very satisfied with the result. In addition, Ron Bibeau reduced the price form the estimate because the sandblasting did not require as much as originally figured. I feel l received a great result. read more

gave them front calipers for my bike to be done in basic black mid November 2016. Was told it would be about two weeks for turnaround. Finally got them back February 2017. Each time I checked on them I was given a different reason why they weren't done. To compensate for the inconvenience owner offered to refund the cost ($60) nice gesture however, never came through. Finished product wasn't bad but, wasn't flawless either. If you look close you can see that powder coating either ran or was applied over the paint/finish on them when I brought them in. Wasn't worth the discussion and any additional time to have them do the job over. Won't be going back. read more
