Derek (Mike's son) helped restore the frame on my F150. I brought it by and he gave me an…read moreestimate. Derek proposed that we pull the bed off and undercoat everything aft of the cab. He would replace any rotted parts of the frame and cross members. Luckily my frame wasn't in too bad of shape he said. It took about 3 weeks to get it all done, but I wasn't in a hurry. Derek invited me to stop by anytime to check on the progress. In the end, I had Derek and his team install a new trailer hitch and replace the rearmost spring shackles and hangers in addition to the rust repair on the frame. He came in under the estimate (just barely). I was happy. They replaced the rotted sections of frame with 1/4" thick steel plate that was bended into the C-channel shape and welded into place. Everything was undercoated. They even replaced (and undercoated) the exhaust heat shield under the bed. Hopefully, I'll never need to get my frame repaired again, but if I do, I'll definitely be bringing it back to Derek.

My mother's hope chest has been in my custody since she died over forty years ago, and I'm sorry to…read moresay that I didn't take good care of it. The finish was damaged, and the top was badly scratched up by years of dogs jumping up on it. When I finally decided to have it refinished, I chose Murphy's based on my daughter's experience with them, and expected them to do as good a job as possible under the circumstances, but they really exceeded my expectations -- it looks wonderful, better than it looked when I first inherited it! I highly recommend this service! I wish I had a Before picture but I was too ashamed of its condition to take one!

The diagram for the welding was on a piece of 2x8. We discussed what needed to be done and she took my phone number to call me when it was done or if there were any questions. Next business day at lunch, she calls and says that it will be done in an hour and I can come and get it. I went to the shop and picked up the plate. It weighs a lot and will work perfectly for my application. They through the spot welding of the feet in for free. John Santini got the plate for me with this amazing crane thing. It was so cool I took a video to show my friends. I was really impressed by how friendly, helpful and cool he was. The iron work at the place is amazing. The biggest chandelier I have ever seen is in the front atrium of the building and it is crafted out of steel rod. There are computer run machines for cutting out fancy designs. I was really excited by their BBQ trailer with two gorgeous grills for whole pig roasting. It was a great experience! I brought our kitchen chair to this company at the recommendation of a friend. I was not certain…read morethe chair was even salvageable. The company works with iron and one of the owners told me that the chair was aluminum however still offered to try to repair it for me. He gave me no guarantees and told me there was a 50-50 chance it could be fixed and then told me to return later in the afternoon. Never expected that, same day service, you don't find that often. When I returned not only did he fix the chair, but it was as good as new. I of course have to paint where it was soldered but you will not be able to tell where it was done. The price was extremely reasonable as well. If you have any rod iron work to be done, I would strongly consider this company. When you walk in the front door of the business and see some of their work you will see their workmanship. I am not sure why their address above is listed as Cooper Street (I imagine they may have been at that address at one time) however their new address is: 28 Sycamore Ave, Medford, MA 02155
