Don't know how to start. My older laptop - had issue w/AC jack. Seems common with Asus. I…read moredescribed the problem & had it dropped off. Then they called & said they couldn't power it up. That it was the fan causing it to overheat, making it lose power. That is another common problem w/Asus. I told them no- it was not that but since I did hear the fan rattling - I asked that they do a thorough cleaning & lube to address the issue. They insisted it was the fan so I authorized replacing fan too. I asked if they couldn't power up the computer, how could they know?? So I get a call back saying computer would be ready in 4 days, since parts were coming in 2 days. I called the day before to find out that they never got the parts & they were waiting. I questioned why I wasn't told? Finally, they got the AC jack - but not the fan. I asked them to replace the jack at least & I would return for fan replacement. Once I got the laptop back, I noticed that the computer was working but the charging connection from the AC to Battery was no longer working. Prior to this, the computer was running only by battery power, not AC power. I told them to check if the connection somehow needed to be fixed & immediately was told that I would probably need a new battery since the Laptop was old. I told the receptionist (who refused to let me talk to a tech) why all of a sudden battery was issue when it had been running on Battery power for almost a year. Anyway - turns out the Fan was NOT the issue & they weren't able to fix the connectors & was told to order a new battery. Above which - I asked my C drive kept getting full & if they could please fix that issue. Had loooong discussion about 1 TB drive w/100GB C drive which was SSD. I asked aforehand, are your techs also software experts that could fix this issue & was told ofcourse (like I am idiot for asking). In the end - they could not fix anything other than the AC jack - which is what I had asked for to start & was told it was not the issue. The attitude was so bad, it was very uncomfortable. Everything I asked for was met with almost an argument. Needless to say, I will not be going back, not worth the headache.

On the first day, I showed up to the office during regular business hours, which is actually a law office where he works out of (?). The lady at the front desk said he wasn't there and told me to call ahead. My mistake for showing up, I get it. I call and we originally schedule to meet a couple days later. On the scheduled day, he sends me a text past the time we scheduled saying that he has an off site client and asked to reschedule to a couple days. I get it, things come up and I agree to meet up later. This time around, he sends me another text saying he cannot make it because of some personal issues. Now, I'm sure this place does decent to above average laptop repairs. But as someone who writes software for a living, I cannot live without my laptop. So, if you value your time, go somewhere else.

English review first. Japanese version follows below…read more I am writing this review with great disappointment, as I had been a customer for approximately six years and would like to share my personal experience. I had relied on this business not only for my personal computers, but also for computers used at a company where I previously worked. Because of that, I trusted the owner and continued to use his services for many years. I am not an IT enthusiast, nor am I a gamer. I use my computer mainly for everyday tasks such as email, internet browsing, Word, and Excel. When it became necessary to replace my computer, I was recommended an older Mac running Linux Mint. During our discussions, I repeatedly heard negative comments about Microsoft and Apple, while Linux Mint was strongly promoted. However, I felt that more emphasis was placed on the advantages of Linux Mint than on understanding my actual needs and intended use. The following day, I spoke with the owner and told him that I intended to purchase the computer. During that conversation, I was informed for the first time that the screen had a yellow tint. Because of that, I said that I wanted to see the computer in person before making a final decision. However, when I arrived at the store, my data had already been transferred to the computer. Since I do not have a technical background, I felt uncomfortable deciding not to purchase a computer that already contained my personal data, so I went ahead with the purchase. After I started using the computer, I experienced several issues: * Frequent internet connection problems * A keyboard that did not function properly * Excessive heat from the computer (it became noticeably hot within about 10 minutes of startup, even when no applications were being used) When I reported the overheating issue, I was told that it was normal for the computer to get hot. When I explained that the keyboard was not functioning properly, I was told that the keyboard was "working." However, I did not consider the computer to be functioning normally for regular use. In addition, many files in my Documents folder were missing after the data transfer. I was told that the cause was the failure of my original computer. However, other data was transferred successfully, and as a result, I lost many document files from my Documents folder. The owner ultimately accepted the return of the computer. However, the data transfer fee became another point of disappointment. I was initially told that the fee would be reduced to $40 because I had been a long-time customer. After I returned the computer, I was charged $75 and told that the discount had only applied if I purchased the computer. What disappointed me most was not the computer itself, but the way the situation was handled afterward. Problems and mistakes can happen in any business. However, I did not feel that this situation was handled in a sincere or customer-focused manner. As someone who had trusted and used this business for many years, the experience was extremely disappointing. If you are considering purchasing a used computer, I strongly recommend carefully checking its condition and functionality before making a final decision.
