I consider myself pretty good with PC's and can usually fix any issues on my own. But when I tried replacing my CPU with a new one, I couldn't get my PC to boot and then spilled some thermal paste on my motherboard. I knew I needed a professional and at this place I got my PC back the next morning, working perfectly and all cleaned up. DO NOT GO HERE! BEWARE! This place is the absolute WORST! They gave me someone else's hard drive and now they cannot find mine! So now I have all of the files and information of another customer and I am sure someone else has my information. This is not the place you want to trust with your personal devices! The owner also has terrible customer service. He did absolutely nothing to try to resolve this problem. In fact HE TOLD ME HE THREW AWAY MY HARDRIVE! After looking all over for places on Yelp to bring my laptop to in the PP/Miramar area, I stumbled across PC Reboot, and boy, I'm glad I DID! I do photography for a living, and in this day and age, a computer is EVERYTHING. While I was editing, my laptop went from blazing fast to smoldering slow. Checked the disk, and it was giving me a hard drive fail status. Just a couple of days before a big travel trip for a wedding. Barrington should be called a life saver. I dropped off my laptop on the day before New Year's Eve and they got it back to me all repaired by the day after New Years Day. They did an excellent job repairing my laptop, they did the job fast, they communicated with me throughout the process giving me updates on what they were doing and how long it was going to take, and they did not charge me more than what they told me they would charge me. This guy is a con artist. I have two laptops that I tried to replace the trackpads on myself. I couldn't get the trackpads lined up properly on my own, so I decided to go to a professional. He said he could fix it. I brought them in on a Saturday, and he said he wouldn't be able to look at them until Monday. On Monday morning, he called me at 11:00 and told me he fixed them. When I got there, they looked exactly the same as when I brought them in. He said he tried to take them apart and fix them, but he didn't do anything at all, and still charged me 60 bucks. I know for a fact he didn't even open the laptops up, because when I got home I opened them again and the exact same stickers and adhesives that I applied when I tried to fix it myself were still completely intact. I knew something was fishy when he said that the three button trackpads on the Lenovo's are separate parts from the trackpad itself, because that is not true at all, I ordered the replacement myself and I when I took it apart to fix it, the three buttons are part of the trackpad. He literally just kept my laptops in his store over the weekend, did nothing at all, then charged me for it. I am disputing the charge with my bank and I hope I get my money back. Also, the store hours are 10 Am to 8 pm. I arrived at 10 Am, and he didn't show up until almost 11. Then he said at 12 he goes on lunch break until 2 pm. I came back at 2 pm, and he didn't show up until almost 4 pm. He comes into work at 11 AM, works for an hour, then takes a 4 hour lunch break... I saw at least half a dozen customers walk to the door, see he wasn't there, and then leave, during the time I was waiting for him to show up. I don't advise anyone to go to this place. Find somewhere else. read more

Being that I know nothing about computers I felt vulnerable taking my old laptop to a repair place for a black screen. Did not even know where to start so I search the web near my area and PC Reboot kept coming up. I emailed the company and had a response very quickly the other company I found still waiting to hear from. And after emailing a couple of days I went to see Barrington. He is the old fashion customer service, cares and takes time to explain and answer dumb questions, lol. Service took only a week, to be expected with snail mail and the price was unbelievable. When I went to pick up my laptop he even was kind enough to answer questions about another laptop I have, where I feel some where else would have said to bring in it. Also, the estimate he gave me to replace the screen is the price I paid when I picked up my laptop nothing extra. The other shops are cellphone repair shops, they will mess your computer up like they did mine. The geek squad don't do computer repair, they send your computer to the manufacturer for repair.
