My HP laptop was taking an increasingly long time to boot (literally 5-7 minutes) and was fairly slow with regard to response time. Allen (the owner) suggested that I install a solid state drive(SSD) and consider adding two more gigs of ram(to a total of 8 Gigs). I went with a 500GB Samsung drive and added the two additional gigs of RAM. Allen performed the job while I waited. The price was significantly less than going to the big box store and the immediate turnaround was something I did not expect, but was most appreciated. The upgrades to my machine made it perform like it was new. I highly recommend going to a SSD if the computer is worth upgrading. I'm updating my review for PC Pros. I brought in my IPhone to have the screen repaired. The guy who I was not familiar with stated they don't have the parts in the store and to come back in 2 days on Friday and he would have the screen. Well I couldn't go back so I went back a week later. The guy, a different guy said he didn't know anything about it but he was sure it was a coworker... And that he should have handled it differently. So, he called a friend who fixes iPhones. He arranged that the guy would bring the part and have my phone ready today within 2 hours or the guy could come to my house and do it in less time. I could not have had a better experience with PC Pros. Background: My touch screen laptop had the screen come apart from the upper part/lid of the laptop. I could push it back in, but, it would not stay and the touchscreen stopped working. I was confident that the screen could be reattached relatively easily, but was unsure if the touchscreen part would be fixable or if it might need an entire new screen. Did a quick search on Yelp and saw PC Pros as being pretty close to home. The Yelp page said they were open until 6 pm today (Saturday), so I drove over and arrived at about 3:40 pm. (Note, the store in inside the Wellington Mall- not Wellington Green Mall, the one up ahead on Forest Hill Blvd, right before Wellington Trace). As I walked up to the store front, I saw the hours posted as closing at 4 pm on Saturday. Walked in, and briefly explained my problem. Turns out, it was the owner, Allen, who helped me. Allen explained that he would have to secure the screen using some special 3M tape, but, it would take a long time as he would have to cut the very thin tape into several strips for each of the four lengths of the screen, remove all of the existing adhesive, clean it, then apply the new tape to the back of the screen. I asked how long it would take and if he could do it right then (about 3:45). He said, "It would probably take an hour or maybe more," and that they close at 4, but he could definitely do it on Monday. I apologized and explained I thought they closed at 6 based on Yelp and otherwise wouldn't have come so late, but, I understood and just wondered if there could be a quick fix/"70% solution" so I could use the laptop right away. (Allen explained that he recently bought out the company from his previous partner and that they were in process of updating Yelp and other social media to update hours/etc, which was why the hours were not right on Yelp currently). Without hesitation, he suggested that he take a look to see what was involved in doing the job, so I opened the laptop and fired it up, showed him that the touchscreen no longer worked and how the screen would fall away from the housing/lid. Allen jumped in and in literally 10 seconds had the touch screen working. He noted that the area to attach the adhesive was smaller than usual, so it would take less time and again, without hesitation, went to work on it. Removed all of the original adhesive, cleaned all the contact area, cut and applied the tape, rechecked the touchscreen electrode and had my laptop working in perfect order by 3:58. Not only that, because the amount of tape needed and the area was smaller and that he was able to fix it so quickly, he only charged me $30. He also told me that if I had any problems, if the touchscreen stopped working or the adhesive did not fix the problem, to come back and he would fix it. In summary, Allen and PC Pros were friendly, competent, extremely customer service oriented, fixed my problem quickly, and at a very reasonable rate. All of this late on a Saturday afternoon. I understand that this was job was not the equivalent of neurosurgery or rocket science. Still, my expectations were highly exceeded, the price was very fair and I would highly recommend PC Pros to anyone with a need for electronics repair. They have earned my trust and I will be coming back with any service needs in the future. read more

Amazing service! I'm a Dj for clubs in West Palm and Jupiter, (DJ explicit) and at my last show I played a patron knocked my laptop off of the DJ booth and it fell 10ft to the dance floor.
