Also the air bag light was fixed at the time I got my car. Even it took a bit while, but it's fair enough for me. Car was nice, but some small parts needs to take care of by my own, which I might also ask Chris do it for me. Guys who wants to buy cars from B&X Motors, you can really trust Chris.

His service was relaxed and un "salesman" like and I was very pleased. It took him a few weeks to get what I wanted. I don't feel as if he rushed to sell me just anything, he found a car that worked for me. For a small dealership, he provides big service. He took care of the smog and dmv stuff. I've been searching for a BMW 6 series now for a while, and this car popped up on craigslist that seemed too good to be true. It was advertised $3k lower than the cheapest one I've found, and seemed to be in great shape. They were completely upfront with the car, and even had an upclose picture of a scratch on the front bumper as well as minor rock chips in their ad. This was the complete opposite of what I've been experiencing with other dealers in thinking a car was in excellent shape, only to find a bunch of issues once i see the car in person. Called, scheduled an appointment, and went to see the car. Guess what!?!? There was not a single issue other than the ones disclosed. They let me drive the car by myself, came back 20 minutes later, and wrapped the deal up. I did try to negotiate with them, although they said they have a "one price" philosophy which was fine, because i was out of there in 15 minutes, and got a very very good deal. I told them I wanted to do a transmission flush because I had no idea if one was ever done, and if so when; and asked for recommendations. They scheduled an appointment with a shop they use to have the work done under their acct (wholesale pricing), who did the job 3x cheaper than a local bmw indy. Not only did I get a great car, I now have a major hookup for mechanical work, and met a really cool dealer. Highly recommend these guys!

He really knows his stuff about cars (mostly Asian and American built), is honest and genuine, likes to crack a good dad joke here and there, but definitely saved me sooo much time and $$$ not having to go to an actual shop. He had also noticed a couple minor things, too, that I've been putting off on getting done (rear signal light out, daytime running lamp out, low windshield fluid) and replaced them for me at low cost! Everything works great; it was such a huge relief off my shoulders and I will definitely be calling him back!

Wow. I have seen two friends (who didn't know each other) get cars from here be absolute crap. The…read moresalesmen assured them that no inspection was needed, which I disagreed with, and that a full service had just been done. Both cars instantly had problems and were far from having been serviced recently. When they took it back in to see what would be done they both got the same answer: "These cars are sold as is and you must drive like a maniac" HAHAHA. One was brought 100 miles later and the other didn't make it 12 miles! Brakes were low, transmission leaks, black dirty oil and on and on. If you do happen to find yourself there buying a car, PLEASE get it checked out - no matter what they tell you. At the end of the day they are used car salemen. $100-200 in a pre-purchase inspection would've saved both these chumps thousands of dollars.

I have an old truck that looks cool but has some quirks that need to be addressed. I was pretending to troubleshoot the issue (without really having a clue) when a mirror image(except running & better paint job) of my truck driven by Tanis (the shop's owner)pulls up in the spot next to mine. Tanis happens to walk up to me to see if I needed any help. He worked on my truck for quite a while before determining it was something other than a quick fix. We pushed the truck over to his shop and he put Joe on the job. These guys are not only super friendly but really know their stuff. They nailed down the problem, ordered the parts and had me on the road much faster than I had expected. Their prices are very fair, their skill is superior and they are passionate about what they do. Huge thumbs up! If you car/truck needs work and you don't want to get taken to the cleaners, go see these guys. If its a classic vehicle, even better. They love 'em there Thanks for helping me today. I had recently bought a 200K+ mile Toyota 4runner and it had lost like 75% of its power for some reason. He spent a whole day poring over the car, diagnosing several causes for the loss of power. He fixed what had to be fixed, didn't charge me for the rest, an delivered the car to me (all the way across town at 6pm on a Friday) when he was done. I am really impressed with his work. The car runs great and has its power back. I'd recommend him without reservation.

I was looking for an oil change a few months back and I stumbled upon this place in West Oakland…read more I figured it's always good to support local business so I hopped in. The mechanic was really friendly and he took care of my car pretty quickly. He also noted that I needed to get one of my belts changed because it was really worn. At first I was skeptical because I thought this was a cheap ploy to get me to spend more money but then he walked me through and showed me what a new belt looks like and he proceeded to show my belt which had cracks in it and was terribly worn. He fixed it within a day and it wound up pretty cheap. I later talked to a mechanic friend of mine and he confirmed what the mechanic at Enrique's had said so I avoided disaster thanks to this place. The only reason I don't give this place the full 5 stars is because the oil change was just a tad more expensive than other comparable places but it was definitely done with quality and care and I will be back to get other work done!
