I normally wouldn't write a review for a company whose services I've never used, but I felt this…read moreexperience was worth sharing because it speaks to how a business responds when an issue is brought to its attention. This morning, while sitting in traffic near Boca Raton, one of JVAC's marked service vans aggressively used the express lane exit to bypass traffic before forcing its way back into the travel lane. The driver continued all the way to the plastic delineator posts and nearly clipped the mirror off the pickup truck in front of me. It was an incredibly aggressive and disrespectful maneuver that reflected poorly on the company. As a business owner myself, I know employees don't always make the best decisions. I own an electrical contracting company, and if one of my employees was driving one of my marked vehicles like that, I would absolutely want someone to let me know. Insurance is expensive enough, and your company's reputation is too important to have it damaged by careless driving. I called the number on the back of the van expecting at least a little defensiveness, but I was pleasantly surprised. The owner answered, listened to my concerns without making excuses, thanked me for bringing it to his attention, and assured me he would address the issue with the driver. That level of accountability deserves recognition. We all know how difficult it is to find and keep good employees, and one employee shouldn't necessarily define an entire company. Hopefully this becomes a learning experience for the driver and helps prevent something more serious from happening in the future. While I can't comment on the quality of JVAC's HVAC work, I can say I appreciated the professionalism and accountability shown by the owner when a legitimate concern was brought to his attention.

I would like to share my recent and deeply disappointing experience with Main Line Plumbing and…read moreElectrical located in Pompano Beach, Florida. On Tuesday, August 4th, I awoke to significant flooding in my closet caused by a slab leak. I immediately began contacting plumbing companies and ultimately reached Main Line Plumbing, who arrived within a couple of hours. At that point, the service appeared prompt and satisfactory. Shortly thereafter, I received an emailed estimate for $5,200, followed by a call from an office representative named Kayla, requesting that I sign the estimate to approve the work. I did so, and she informed me that a 50% deposit was required before they could begin. I submitted the deposit, only to be notified shortly afterward that the earliest available appointment would be Friday, two days later. Given the active leak and ongoing damage, I expressed my concern and reminded her that the technician had indicated he would request priority scheduling. Despite this, Kayla stated that Friday was the only available opening. Due to the urgency of the situation, I requested that the job be canceled and my deposit refunded. She responded that she would need to inform the owner and refused to connect me directly to him. During subsequent calls, she repeatedly stated that she had notified the owner but continued to refuse to transfer my call. Several days later, Kayla informed me that the refund would be issued and would take 3-5 business days to appear on my account. It has now been nearly 10 days, and no refund has been received. As a result, I contacted my bank and initiated a dispute of the charge. This experience raises serious concerns regarding the company's customer service, professionalism, and integrity. I strongly advise others to exercise caution when considering this business. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Main Line Plumbing and Electrical and would assign them a firm thumbs down.

They showed up right on time with four crew members and a trainee. The entire team worked efficiently and effectively splitting up the work among themselves. The trainee worked side by side with the master electrician who explained things to him and had him do small odds and ends. The entire team was very respectful and courteous. They did not lollygag and completed the job in the time frame as promised. We had high hopes of them finishing the job in one day but they had to finish up for half a day the next day (as agreed upon pet contract) They installed several hi-hats, replaced/installed four ceiling fans, modified and or upgraded light switches, upgraded existing electrical work in my garage. We pointed out one snafu and they quickly agreed to correct it as it was stated in the proposal. Honestly having four of the hi-hats on the same switch really didn't make much of a difference to us. There was an electrical issue with our halfway light and with our front porch light/sconces on the garage door. They immediately came out the next day to rectify that problem as well. MJK s very professional and I felt very confident about them from the estimate to the very end of the job. I would not recommend any other electrician and look forward to using them again soon.
