DON'T USE THIS PIECE OF CRAP PLUMBER, coming from a licensed remodeling contractor. My sister hired him to find a leak in the copper plumbing under the slab of the house. He marked 2 spots. We pulled the carpet in a closet, cut the concrete slab and looked for the leak. The copper pipes were completely fine. We broke and removed a tile on the other side of the wall in the entry, cut the concrete and the pipes were in tact again. He came back and still could not find the leak, said he would give us a refund AND WE STILL DON'T HAVE IT. We hired AMERICAN LEAK DETECTION which marked the leak 15 FEET AWAY and they were right on the money and we repaired the leak. Zero stars. Ruth contacted me following a request for plumbing services via Angies List. I found out through the complaints department that they used to be a registered contractor until January 2022. Somehow, they are still funneling referrals from Angies list. She used the phone# 305-332-1321 to contact me She sent a James aka Richard Lodman (954) 496-1202 (754) 262-3922 who wanted to keep me as a future client. On May 3, 2022, James came to my house took out the garbage disposal and changed the plumbing underneath my kitchen sink that was not draining. Two weeks later the problem resumes and now Ruth representing Dave21 Plumbing is not returning my calls, texts, or even sending a copy of the receipt for paying cash $230, that was handed to James on-site. Thanks Dave 21 for a great job! Our showers had been getting cooler and cooler for about a week, so we called our apartment owner to let them know. That was Tuesday afternoon; by Thursday morning Dave 21 was at our place taking care of the problem. By the end of it, he made sure the water was heating properly with the correct amount of pressure. During the fix he also found questionable electrical wiring from whoever worked on it previously, was able to remove it and replace with a new heater and new copper piping (see BEFORE and AFTER pics below). We used to love Dave... we've used him twice to three times in 2 years... He made over $8500 on the two jobs... We trusted him this past Monday to do a small job which was seven hours or less to remove tree roots in the pipes .. He charged us $3900 and we had no choice but to pay! We were at his mercy since he didn't want to give us a price, even though I kept asking. We found out today from two licensed, insured and reputable companies the same job should not have been more than $2000. I knew it. I had a gut feeling that this time we were being ripping us off. It's so sad we really feel hurt since he was our trusted guy! No more! Not everyone who lives in Weston is rich! My hubby and I work so hard ! I'm so sad and upset ! I still can't get over this.. DON'T USE THIS GUY- WORST LEAK DETECTION EVER. He told me he heard water flowing and leak is 2 ft in any direction. Pipes were no where near what he told me. Dug up two places and just filled with water- no pipe break there. He did NOT locate the leak- He came back and bolted out without giving me a refund. I am reporting his license to the state for falsifying information on leaks. Be glad to show photos of damages of where he told us to dig and look for the leak NEVER USE THIS GUY I hope they take away his license. Great experience with Dave 21. I needed a toilet wax seal replaced. He was able to send a tech over to my house next-day. My phone broke and nobody answered the door the day he came (my bad!), but excellent response from Dave, we were able to reschedule for next-day. Price was the same as original estimate over the phone (good price) even though the job was a bit tougher than expected, and I was able to pay with credit card. We are extremely disappointed at how we were treated by this company. First a person came out that apparently had to be trained over the phone while removing our water heater. Secondly a 2nd person had to come out and help install, which I guess is understandable. In the meantime, during installation the same pipes were left on, my expensive lawn lights were destroyed and the water from the tank came gushing out because one of the installers didn't turn the water off. Now fast forward 3 days later the brand new water tank is leaking and the guy says he'll come back out for another $120 after we already paid him $300. He proceeds to tell us thats because we provided the water tank, if he would have provided it he would have bought all the materials and installed for $800-$850. Seriously? So because you didn't tell us to purchase all the materials that should be used to replace a water tank, it's not your responsibility to ensure the pipes are not leaking? And then have the audacity to say that you're licensed, insured and 1 year guarantee. On what? We had an appointment scheduled for 12 pm today for Simon to run a camera through the pipes of a house we are purchasing. At 12:10 pm I called to see where he was and when he answered he didn't know who I was at first and then proceeded to tell me that he was at another job that ran late. I understand things happen, but he neglected to call me to inform me and if I had not called, we would have been waiting all day. Not only was it a waste of time, but we also had 2 realtors there. We were expecting better service as there had been so many positive reviews, we have been let down. Had them come and work on a blocked pipe in my bathroom. $450 later they had run a snake through my pipes. The toilet worked for 1 day and was blocked up again after that.
