I went there once before this instance. I had a check to get cashed for $1000.00. They told me to go to the bank next door. This time, I called Western Union to verify that I would be served. At the window, I mentioned that I had been in a fire and that these folks raised this money for us. The customer service person gave me the cash. However, she would not let me deposit the money to my bank. I write here because Western Union tells me that was a lie. Apparently, skin color is part of their ID system. I don't have the right complexion. Call the company/person like Western Union. Give them a heads up. They have a robust complaint process.
