Roof started leaking . The bills are still high. Very cheap panels. All they wanted was commission.

They are absolutely the best contractors I have dealt with in over 30 years as a homeowner…read more Their proposal was accurate and complete. Their work is excellent quality and was done on time. When there were problems due to unexpected issues (as there always are), they came up with great solutions and were always fair and reasonable. After they upgraded the insulation and replaced the HVAC in my house, my utility costs have been cut by over 60% and my home is significantly more comfortable to live in. I've gone from a 3 zone system (with two 3 1/2 ton units) that always had hot and cold zones to a 1 zone system with one 3 1/2 ton unit. It's always the same temperature throughout the house for all seasons and I almost never have to think about adjusting them temperature because it now "just works". I wish I had done this 20 years ago. Since the initial remodel I've used Building Doctors multiple times on smaller jobs and they've always done top rate work at a fair price. I highly recommend them!

Really appreciated having a contractor that took pride on fixing issues, not cutting corners, and not overselling more expensive solutions. Large team of 7-10 guys came during each day of the work week and finished the project. Contract and change orders communicated well and expectations set up front. It's a tough job to get a crew working in a crawl space, but they leveled the ground, remove trash from other contractors to make a much healthier and well constructed space.

This company did the insulation for our home last year. During the inspection, they pointed out…read morethat the bathroom vent was leaking in the attic. They fixed the issue. Insulation work was great. Our heating bill went down. Definitely recommend this company.

They may be fine, but my experience leaves me regretting the day I invited Gabe (their salesman and…read moremanager of operations) into my house. The rebate that was their big selling point is going to be, it turns out, some $300 less that what Gabe told me. Yes, it says on their invoice that mail-in rebate amounts used for calculations are estimates; I'm guessing that those estimates are never MORE THAN the amount that eventually arrives in a rebate check. Responding to a concern I voiced, Gabe talked about a plan to blow a high-density insulation under some plywood flooring in the attic, but the two kids who came to do the work didn't appear to do that. At least, they never asked me about that area of concern; it was a hot day and they seemed (understandably, I suppose) in a hurry to get in and get out. They complained (in a good-natured way) about how hard it was to access the full attic, so for a lot of money and not a lot of time--and nothing to demonstrate that Gabe had communicated anything to them about my concerns--I was left feeling not completely confident that I got my money's worth. And as far as the effectiveness of the insulation? Hard to tell. If anything, the house seems hotter now. But weather fluctuates, so who knows? I'm not trashing the company wholesale. Gabe was certainly knowledgeable and seemed like a decent guy. They did all the rebate paperwork and required documentation. But I wouldn't recommend them. And my wife now forbids me from talking to any salesman that comes to the door. Your results may vary.
