The back area near the groomers and the Banfield Pet Clinic was so dirty. Not just today's dirt and dog hair but weeks of it. My dog peed on the floor so I used their clean-up station to wipe up the tiny puddle and then used a clean paper towel with their sanitizer to kill the germs. I left a nice little clean spot on the dingy, dirty floor. Yuck. I let my poor dog walk on that floor. My appointment was scheduled for 4 p.m. I put it in my calendar the day I called. I had to cancel another appointment to be able to make this one so I know it was supposed to be at 4. They said they had me down for 5pm but they might be able to squeeze me in when they finished with the current patient. I waited 20 minutes and asked if they had any idea how much longer because if I was going to end up sitting there until 5, I could leave to take care of other errands and come back. Oh no, they're almost ready for me. So at 5:30, I'm called back. Inside the clinic, it's spotless. Thank goodness. The vet and the vet nurse were awesome. I think the store doesn't have enough employees. I didn't see many there and they must not have a night crew to stock and clean. Too bad because this is a busy location. Edited to add photos

0/10 Recommend! I…read morewould NEVER recommend PetSmart for nail services after this experience. Taking my dog here was genuinely one of the worst decisions I've made when it comes to his care. My dog gets his nails trimmed regularly at his vet and has never had an issue or acted aggressively during a nail trim. Unfortunately, his vet was booked, and his nails were getting long enough that they were destroying my couch, so I decided to bring him to PetSmart instead. Huge mistake. I was told that my dog bit the employee while they were trimming his nails. When I got him back and actually looked at his paws, I was shocked. His nails were cut extremely short, right up against the quick. They are now jagged, uneven, cracked, and roughly only 1/4 inch long. They weren't even filed or smoothed out properly. Then I was told that he also tried to bite ME afterward. Well, no shit. If his nails had just been cut down that close to the quick and he was already stressed and in pain, of course he didn't want anyone touching his paws. I know my dog. I know how he normally behaves when having his nails trimmed because he gets them done frequently. I cannot speak to exactly what happened while I wasn't present, but I CAN speak to the condition his nails were in when he was returned to me, and it was completely unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend this location to my worst enemy. I trusted them with my dog for a basic nail trim, and I deeply regret it.

It just seemed like they were doing me a favor to let me buy something from them and note to self, perhaps I should dress for Neiman Marcus next time . Ok I can take it, I'll be back because where else could I find such unique pet gifts for my friends when they get a new addition to their family. I'll pretend like I'm shopping at Barney's in New York, they really have something to be elitist about. They finally pushed me over the edge when they were mean to my toddler! We will not be back ! I was hoping to avoid going in because they have a sign saying something about no one under 16 is allowed without an adult and something else about keeping human children on a leash, which is real funny until you discover it's not a joke. Even worse, they have two adorable puppies wearing tutus and feathers, jumping around at the windows and trying to escape whenever the glass doors open. I took her hand and went in, sporting my best smile and flashing a credit card suggesting I can pay, really I can. Needless to say, my toddler slipped her hand away and dropped to the floor, playing with the puppy which was now licking her. Now it would seem I should be the miffed one, what with her nasty dog licking my child but what the heck, we have a dog, then the other cute little dog runs over and the three are happy and the child is not touching things. Then I asked the older lady at the register a question as I attempted to pay for my expensive purchase and she glared at me with a kiss my grits expression and walked away. Hmmmm....whats that term for a female dog.......? Yes, that is what she was. As for my dog, he shops at Pet Smart where pets and people are welcome! This Is truly one store I hope will go out of business. PS - You can get trendy pet accessories on the internet.

They seemed shy and disengaged. I forgot what I was going in for and just wanted to leave. That's not like me. I love animals, all animals. This place made me feel real uneasy. I didn't know why. Later when I looked it up online. I feel like I was picking up on some kind of bad energy. I think the reviews on here are suspicious. Several of them are pretending to be 2 different people. The way they are doing business with the vets and insurance appears to be borderline criminal. It is definitely Immoral. That little Papillion that they say is a quality dog. looks precious. but she is a mix. They have very specific coloring and a solid colored head and patches of color on their back are not part of it. Her ears are not right either. They are very happy energetic, confident dogs. This one appears to be shy and clinging on to the lady. The close up of the gray bulldogs face, is deformed. They would never be registered, or accepted in a show ring, Anywhere!
