Staff is wonderful! They love the pets that they groom like their own! My mini Aussie Daisy and Golden Retriever Maggie always look so good when they have been bathed and cut! They also do an awesome job of deshedding!! Thank you Southpaws Grooming!! read more

Truly amazing place where they completely understand how to groom your dog. They took on a princess of a sheltie for a manicure. We failed miserably trying to do it ourselves but the owner truly has a way with pets. He made it look easy. Everyone who worked there was just fantastic. I think you will be as happy as we were. read more

When placing your furry family member in the hands of a groomer ... you want one with talent, one you can trust, and one that loves their work. Southpaws staff is all of the above! Our Airedale jumps out of the car and sprints inside with pure joy every time. Considerations important to me are -- priced fairly, spotless facilities, tremendous location, caring staff, and maximum talent, and they are five stars plus! Thank you! read more

Great service. The groomers do a great job with both our husky and corgi. The dogs seem to remember the place and like going there. Of course they are always ready to leave read more

I've been taking my large hairy curly dogs to South Paws grooming since they were puppies. Grace is about to turn eight in a few short months. The South Paws family is part of our family. I've recommended them to several of my friends who have been extremely pleased with their services as well. They go above and beyond Giving my fur babies a glorious spa day as standard operational procedures. Even though it's quite a drive from my house, we would not go anywhere else! read more

The moment I walked in with our dog Fat Boy I knew we had found his place! Everyone is so welcoming to not just the pets but humans to! I was given a tour of the entire place including the outdoor areas for the pets to have a break. The facilities do NOT smell like any other dog groomers I have been to, they have really invested into their facility and the care and attention they give to the animals! They care about my boy just as much as I do and took such great care of him! They also provided me with great information on how to maintain and help reduce shedding between visits! read more

Had a great first experience at Southpaws Grooming today. My nervous doodle did very well and was not stressed when I picked him up, as he has been when visiting his previous groomer- who also did a good job with him. Thankful for the time they took in helping him settle in. Happy to have found this place and will be returning. Prices are reasonable and atmosphere is relaxed. Will be bringing my pooch back regularly. read more

They hurt my little Yorkie and did a terrible job grooming her, I did a better job on her myself. YES I was a customer of yours and this happened just before you shut down the Waterloo site. My wife Linda brought her dog "Gabby" and my dog "Heartly"aka Baby, and you nicked heartlys' stomach and even offered to send her to your vet. you'll never touch one of our dogs again! read more

Very pleased with the service I received everyone was so nice and made sure my dog was comfortable with her first time being groomed at their location she looks amazing we will be returning thanks again for your patience read more

Very impressed with the care given to my older dog. Very thoughtful and kind people. My stressed pet was treated with care and made to feel completely comfortable. The friendly staff and reasonable pricing was also a plus. read more

A really great place for grooming needs of any kind. Took our dog Bella in for a bath twice now. She's incredibly scared of anything new abs baths are no different. They are patient and kind to her and she always leaves smelling so good and so soft. Highly recommend! I also love their text notifications. Every person I've interacted with here has been very kind. We are visiting some friends from out of town and needed to have our sweet Golden Retriever, Penelope, groomed. After looking at Yelp, I chose Southpaw Grooming. On my initial call I spoke with Tony. He was kind, helpful and very accommodating. It's always nice to speak with someone like that especially when you're unfamiliar with the area and the place you're taking your fur baby to. He set us up with a groomer, Millie, and she did a phenomenal job! Penelope came back home with a fresh mani/pedi, teeth brushed, and looking like a brand new fur baby! I can't thank them enough for being so warm, inviting and helpful. Knowing that we'll be in the area again in the future, Southpaw Grooming will definitely have our business. Thank you again! She really looks BEAUTIFUL! read more

Took my 10 month old Yorkie Poo to South Paws today. The ladies are very nice, the salon is super clean and they treated my girl like one of their own. At pick up, my girl was happy and looked wonderful! The only reason I gave 4 stars, instead of 5, is that the price was a bit high for a 7 pound dog. read more

My family loves southpaws!! We have come here for a long time and we will continue to use them! They take great care of our pets and our dogs have always been happy and not stressed at all when coming home!!! I can't say that about some other places..... it seems like the owner really cares and loves animals. They are so kind and have very reasonable prices. Our dog Chaco grows a fluffy coat every year and we get him haircuts to keep him cool! read more

Very accommodating, reasonably priced and kind. My scruffy little 15y/o terrier looks like a puppy!

I literally posted a 5 star review the morning that I dropped my 2 dogs off for grooming. I was expecting them to look like the last few times I've taken them. My cocker spaniel came with completely shaved ears and both were bleeding. The bad part is-- they didn't ask if they could shave his ears. And then they butchered him. I called the owner and complained. She asked me to stop by. She was very sweet and sincerely apologetic. She offered to pay for us to go to the vet but said it would be $300 afterhours so we just put alcohol on his ears and let them scab over. Didn't want to put the poor lady into debt!! She seems super nice and we've had such great experiences until then. They need to fire that groomer. She kept complaining about having a 6 month year old and how she can't do anything anymore. Maybe she's being kept up at night and that's why she cut into my dogs ears! Overall I would still recommend this place. Just NOT the gal that helped me. We will be back due to the owner truly being apologetic. read more

Best grooming service!! They are so sweet with your pets and you feel comfortable leaving them to get groomed. My dog looked awesome after getting groomed very happy. read more

We took our dog to be groomed and bathed. While she was there she had a severe seizure. When my wife called to see what time she would be ready, they informed her they were running behind and oh by the way your dog had a severe seizure about 45 minutes ago. We live 10 minutes away. Could they have not called to tell us of the incident? Really! Do the animals that you take care of mean nothing to you. They sure do for us! How unprofessional! Will put out the word to everyone around or who uses this business. Find something else to do! read more

I just got my little babies back from south paws and they look beautiful. They took such good care of my babes, the oldest one wanted to stay and play! I'm so happy with how their cuts turned out! read more

They were absolutely terrible. Kept my dogs there for 6 hours and didn't even trim their nails. All they did was give them bathed and I can do that at home for free. read more

Never going here again. I've been a loyal customer for years, but after my last experience I've had enough. They razor burned my dog not once or twice but OVER 25+ times. This is unacceptable and I discourage anyone from coming here if you care about your pets. read more

I wanted to let the staff at South Paws how much I appreciated the special care that they showed our little morkie Bella.. Bella has been traumatized in her past grooming and can not be haltered while getting a cut. Bella can show her feelings pretty quickly...upon taking her into the shop and meeting Sharon she instantly showed she was ok with her. They really did a nice job and squeezed her in during a very busy time due to my wife having surgery ! We will be a client for both of our dogs in the future. read more

I dropped off my dog at 9am to get a nail trim and bath. They left my dog there until 430pm and texted me finally that she was done. Did not trim the nails which is what I mostly wanted and did not tell me that they could not trim them. So I wasted my entire day and $25. Never again will I go to this place. Don't appreciate them torturing my dog. She will never be the same. It has been hours later and still hasn't recovered. read more

Excellent service! Highly recommend. Your pet treated with care and concern. Sharon was wonderful.

Excellent. We have been going for over a year now. Our dog loves going and always happy to see them. Once they got used to the way we wanted our Pom cut it has been excellent ever since. Treat our dog like their own and always give us advice and tips. read more

My shih tzu's skin around his eyes were red and he wouldn't stop squinting as we left. After a few hours, his eyes blistered! Will never go here again. They didn't offer anything but "Sorry" after sending them pictures of my dog's blistered and bruised face. This was last year, summer 2015, I'm just now getting around to reviewing them. read more

Sharon, and the crew at Southpaws, are simply THE BEST. I am super particular with my dogs (Sharon has groomed four of them throughout the years) and I wouldn't let anyone else groom them. Not only do they do a wonderful job, they treat each dog as if it is their own and I always receive a phone call if even the slightest issue concerns them. If one of my dogs is not feeling well, they take special care to groom her/him as carefully and quickly as possible (usually within a couple of hours) so they will not be stressed. One of my dogs that had a history of seizures, had one at Southpaws. Sharon immediately called me and sat and held him, talked to him and cuddled him until I arrived. If one of my dogs is not doing well, Sharon always calls or texts to check on them after the grooming. Sharon recently took the entire staff out of state to receive Animal CPR Certification and additional first aid classes. They all passed and received their certifications. They're Awesome! read more
