The merchandise part of the store is ok. Didn't spend much time there. The checker was sweet and did a good job...even cut the tags of the toy I bought for my dog. The back area near the groomers and the Banfield Pet Clinic was so dirty. Not just today's dirt and dog hair but weeks of it. My dog peed on the floor so I used their clean-up station to wipe up the tiny puddle and then used a clean paper towel with their sanitizer to kill the germs. I left a nice little clean spot on the dingy, dirty floor. Yuck. I let my poor dog walk on that floor. My appointment was scheduled for 4 p.m. I put it in my calendar the day I called. I had to cancel another appointment to be able to make this one so I know it was supposed to be at 4. They said they had me down for 5pm but they might be able to squeeze me in when they finished with the current patient. I waited 20 minutes and asked if they had any idea how much longer because if I was going to end up sitting there until 5, I could leave to take care of other errands and come back. Oh no, they're almost ready for me. So at 5:30, I'm called back. Inside the clinic, it's spotless. Thank goodness. The vet and the vet nurse were awesome. I think the store doesn't have enough employees. I didn't see many there and they must not have a night crew to stock and clean. Too bad because this is a busy location. I've given this store several chances but today was my last. The customer service by every single person I have encountered at this store other than Brianna has been absolutely atrocious. The gentlemen that works the front cashier lately can't be bothered to speak above a whisper and lets everyone know just how much he hates his job. My final straw was a pick up order from this store. I placed my order at 3 pm, thinking that because Petsmart advertises 2 hour waits I was thinking it would be done in a decent time. The day ended, the store closed, and my order was delayed. Just to receive an email that my order was ready at 8 am this morning. I arrived at the store just for it to be closed. Was met out by the large white lady with blonde hair who went "oh" when asked what I was there for, and then proceeded to never come back. This store is a completely joke. I will not return and I look forward to when it shuts its doors like 75% of all the other places in this strip mall. I would never recommend this Petsmart location. read more

I normally like this location OK but today the experience was poor. Went in for 2 things and the cashier forgot to bag one of my items so I had to return to the store after going home. When I called the store about the issue and returned to the same cashier no one apologized for the mistake or acknowledged it. They just asked when I would come back to pick up the item. I will be spending my money elsewhere because they wasted my time and gas today with no apology. Would've moved on with no issues if literally anyone apologized but they couldn't be bothered to acknowledge it. Apparently being a repeat customer or loyal customer since 2022 when we first got our puppy doesn't apply anymore to the generation of people that are employed at the Petsmart on 2140 W. Memorial Highway. Maybe I have myself and my Cavapoo overrated I don't know. I am an older lady and my husband is a veteran and the Tueday discounts would be nice but I'm willing to bring my Cavapoo in on other days. When I call expressing that I am late coming from a doctors appointment, and I get told he can be seen until April 8th or some way far away date is unacceptable. I expressed he didn't need a bath just a nail clipping and to straighten his fur where I gave him a haircut at home. OH NO,THEY DID NOT CARE ONE OUNCE WHAT I HAD TO SAY. Four stars for pretty much sticking a plethora of options for all your pet needs & supplies. The store was clean and that's where it about ended for me. I was not greeted upon entering the store and I had to wait in an extremely long line. I told my husband to just keep the kids in the car and wait because I only had 1 return & to purchase one thing. It took me 30 minutes to get to check out by that time my children had to come into use the bathroom. Fun. The actual process of checking out was complicated too. So that took another 10 minutes. I think I'll just use Instacart next time and save myself the visit. read more

Do not bring your pet to the store located on Memorial Rd in OKC for grooming. Groomer hurt my mother's dog (tiny senior Shitzu) enough where we had to take him to the vet. Called corporate and there must have been something on the video surveillance at that location showing the groomer's actions....Corporate paid for the vet bill and refunded the grooming cost, within only a few days of the incident..... read more

Phenomenal customer service in grooming! Hazel was friendly, professional, and so good with my fur baby. I tried to get my dog's nails trimmed at the Rockwell location, and since they were short staffed, they had to turn me down. I've been in a rush to get everything done before I leave town, and when I called the Quail location, Hazel answered and said that walk-ins are welcome. I confirmed that they had enough staff, she assured me they did. When I got to the store, Hazel was everything and more! She even offered a bath because she had a little extra time. Unfortunately,I did not have time, But she was able to tell me what all was included with the bath, which was very helpful information. Hazel was great, when my pup was finished, his nails looked fabulous, and she got them as short as she possibly could, which is a huge deal with me! I will definitely be going back and asking for Hazel!! read more

I hope the $292 dollars that was stolen out of my wallet when it fell on the ground was worth it, apparently "an old man" returned my wallet from outside but only stole the money that was wrapped in a receipt instead of all the cash, when we went back to get it and noticed some money missing, the cashier seemed unwilling to get a manager to look at the cameras then when the manager was called (I think her name was Brittney) she rolled her eyes and smirked and made a face at the cashier thinking I wouldn't see and was at a loss for words when I asked her not to make faces at my situation and to help when I asked for her manager. All I was wanting was for someone to show even A LITTLE compassion and caring that I was robbed of $292. Now the "highest of managers" shows up and they are telling me there's nothing they can do, I ask for their manager or the store managers name so I can ask to speak to them and they "can't give out personal information" they said they didn't know the store managers name and if they did they couldn't help me... so what is someone suppose to do if their personal items are stolen on property? I guess nothing because nobody can access any cameras and nobody can reach out to any managers or give any names of managers... sounds to me like this may have been an inside job and they didn't realize I knew exactly to the dollar how much was stolen.. read more

Terrible customer service. They offer curbside drop of for the groomer. However when my wife pulls up the lady comes out and said it was to cold to do curbside drop off. It was 60 degrees out. Again the lady came out in person to my wife's window and said it was to cold to walk back inside with the dog. What!?!? My wife had a newborn in the car and didn't now want to take her in. The lady proceeded to blacklist my wife from booking anymore appointments and all locations. We will never shop at PetSmart again. read more

We ran in here a couple of weeks ago to get food and treats for the pups. Pretty standard PetSmart, with all the things I need for our girls. We feed them Nutro Small Adult, but I like to buy it in a big bag when I can, and they had that kind in the large bags here. I also like to buy lots of little tins of the Nutro wet food, since they get that every couple of days as a treat, and they had that as well, although not as many flavors as I would like to see - it looked like their inventory was down a bit. They did have the soft Milkbones we give as little treats, and the Pupperonis we give once or twice per day. They do not, however, carry the CET chews that we give them nightly to help their teeth (and as their very favorite and most coveted treat). We buy those from Amazon, and I'm tempted to just get everything from Amazon via subscription so I don't have to run to the store. But, for now, we're Petsmart customers. read more

This PetSmart has a horrible selection and unknowledgeable employees who point and aren't familiar with their product selection. The person who checked me out was totally clueless - I asked him how to get to a certain landmark - no idea about the OK City freeway system. Pet food - "Oh, so we do carry that brand?" Really? And he forgot to ring me up for some items in my cart. Sure, there are jobs that people have just to put food on the table. At least try and act like you like the job. Today Jan 21 2022 I was denied an exchange on dog food. Even though I had asked multiple employees and they assured me I could the manager tonight didn't let us exchange food I bought 10 days ago due to it not being in the original bag. I have been a loyal customer for 12 years and have NEVER had to return any food. I ALWAYS buy $70 huge quality foods and never had an issue until I bought this certain bag. But because it wasn't in the original bag I could not because they couldn't verify the food type. Absolutely ridiculous. Again I've never had to return any food and this would have been my first time but again was denied a exchange of a bag I bought ten days ago because of the trash bag I brought it in. I legitimately could weigh it for them if they needed. I don't hurt for money so it's not about the $70 I spend it was about the their corporate policy...which I will be contacting soon. read more

Long story short I adopted a cat from petsmart in Edmond. She needed grooming due to painful mats on her back. I was really nervous about having to get her groomed because she had been through so much already. My cat was nervous. But the lady who groomed her was so kind and considerate. DOWN WITH PETSMART! I will never give petsmart my money or my referral ever again. After being a customer there for years now out of convenience of location, their mediocre customer service fell to an all time low and rudeness to an all time high yesterday when I had questions about food alternatives and choices for my diabetic cat. Not only was I left standing there awkwardly for about 30 min with no response to my trying to make any conversation while waiting for the vet to be available for questions...but once the vet was available the girl took 2 customers that arrived after me before going to speak to the vet. Once she did speak to her, she came back and gave me a quick answer that that is all they have. That wasnt even my question. The vet was just behind a glass window and never came out to speak to me at all. Then, When I went to the register to purchase the $50, 8lb bag of cat food, I was told I couldnt purchase it because I had forgotten my little prescription card..... for cat food! I asked if there was anyone I could talk to or could they look me up since Ive been buying this cat food there for last 2 years and my cat didnt have enough food for morning... I was told no. I would rather drive to an inconvenient location and give my business to someone else than ever be treated so rudely and with such disregard for my cats well being again. The store is fine, typical pet store but this review is in regards to their grooming services. We recently took our dog (Australian Shepherd) to get shaved for the summer. We have taken her to get groomed in the past but never to PetSmart. Our dog is young, very energetic, and loves EVERYONE. She rarely gets stressed and we have never had any problems at the groomer before. We received a call saying that she was extremely stressed, which caused her to have stomach issues. I immediately went to pick her up and could definitely tell that she was not her normal self. They shaved way too close to her skin in some areas and there were patches where we could see her skin and it was very red. Looks like they came close to cutting her. The shave was terrible and not even. Just an overall BAD job and it makes me very uncomfortable that my normally happy, go lucky pup clearly had a bad experience. We will never be back. read more

Has everything I need for my dog. Good non grain food selection, treats of all kinds, and a decent toy selection. One thing I would like is perhaps some more durable toys and some that don't squeak as my dog is not a fan of things that squeak. The staff is very helpful as well. read more

I did not have a good experience even attempting to get my miniature schnauzer groomed. They made no effort to make me or my fur baby comfortable, and said it was store policies!?! Just the way they examined her on the floor, instead of in my arms.?. And I've never been to a place that refused to carry my little dog to the back for her comfort. She is petrified of strangers. They put her on a leash, which scared her, so she refused to walk. They said if she wouldn't walk she couldn't be groomed.?. Something bad has happened to an animal there, IMO. I'm glad I didn't leave my fur baby with them. I felt bad for the lab getting groomed while I was there. The groomer was not friendly at all. read more

This review is for the grooming salon. Took my dog there today for bath, haircut and toothbrushing. Picked her up when they were about to close so I didn't have time to check what they did to her. Her body smelled good but I don't think they wash her face coz I still smell food and still looks dirty. I checked her ears and they weren't cleaned at all and also her teeth were still dirty and I dont smell fresh breath. So I'm not expecting that they cleaned her anal glands too. I specifically told the lady to keep her facial hair same length but remove the brown/stained parts, they didnt. I asked how much to pay right after they took her in and she said $49. But when I was paying at the register they were charging me $71. But Of course i only paid $49 coz that's what I was told. Besides, i think $49 is way too much with the kind of service they provided. I don't think i will take my dog back here again. Waste of money. read more
