I have been taking my dog Gracie to Edmond Pet Resort for the last five years and I cannot say enough positive about Fran and her team. Grace begins to get excited before we even turned the corner because she knows we're going to somewhere she loves. Any time that she has been there for daycare, grooming or boarding? After my last review I got a message from Fran, who must be the owner, stating I had never been there and she was going to have her Legal Staff contact me. Shameful to try and scare people who leave HONEST real reviews. That tells you ALL you need to know about EPR right there. Still waiting to hear from her 'Legal Staff.' My law degree and Oklahoma Bar Membership (meaning I am a licensed Oklahoma lawyer) should come in handling should her 'Legal Staff' call me. read more

I'm very disappointed in the boarding here! I picked up my yorkiepoo Sunday after being gone for the weekend, got her out to the car and saw a bite with a blood blob on her back. I took her back in and was told they had no idea how it had happened. Then my daughter called me, who had also left her yorkie there, and she also had a bite or scrape above her eye! I went back in on Monday and showed them pictures but was told there is no way they can be watched all the time and they had 21 dogs over the weekend! Obviously too many dogs to take care of properly. We won't be taking our dogs back there. read more

I've taken my dogs to board here off and on for quite a while (I prefer to have a house sitter if possible). It's clean and the front desk is courteous. My dogs have always come back healthy and don't seem overly stressed or upset. My only complaint? I think they need video cameras. I want to be able to see my dogs! read more

Crap way to run a business. If we make mutual plans to be there at 7am, it is expected someone to be there. And please don't call us the liars. If you have a requirement of a certain vaccine for the dog, then make sure the customer knows. This was never told to us. If you require specific paperwork to be filled out and signed, make sure you tell the customer. Again, this was never told to us. You may have a good boarding facility and maybe you groomer it good but your communication skills are lacking! Lacking to the point of stupidity! read more

I took my dog in for grooming. When I put her in my car, I realized that there were still huge clumps of hair all over her. Needless to say that my dogs white hair got all over my black interior. I then noticed her collar was missing. I called and asked to speak with the manager and was told to wait on a call back. I never relieved one after three days. I called again, this time inquiring about my dogs missing collar. They found it and said they would mail it to me. After a week I still didn't have it. I finally made a trip up there and they still had it sitting on the counter. I once again inquired about a refund for the service that was subpar and told them about having to clean the clumps of hair out of my interior. They sent me away. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and received a hateful, disrespectful letter from the owner taking about how my dog desperately needed a groom and that I just expected her to pay to have my car cleaned. AVOID this place at all costs! read more

Going to Max & Elsie's isn't a pet resort, it's a place where Molly & Simon call home. A big shout out to the staff. Every Tuesday and Friday when I drop Molly off she is greeted by Esther and Megan saying, "Molly" and she runs into the office as she thinks she owns the place. They open their doors at 7:30 but in order for me to make it to work by 8:00, Esther will open at 7:25. Where can you find that kind of service. If you want a quaint, fun and lovable place for your dog then Max & Elsie's is the place. The manager Crystal, Lauren and Kasei are the best you won't regret taking your dogs here. read more

For the second time in six months, I took my daughter's dogs for grooming (she can't get them there by 7:30 a.m. and get to work on time) and was told that they weren't scheduled. When I told "Lisa" (I assume she is either the mgr. or owner) that I was sure that my daughter called on Monday to schedule the appointment because she was also told at that time that if she wanted her dogs out by noon, there would be an additional $10.00 fee per dog for "express service", she assured me that was impossible for her to have called on Monday for an appt. this week (Thurs.) because they were booked until next Wed.. She then looked again and said that they were scheduled for tomorrow. I told her that the appointment was definitely made for today and she just said "well, I'm sorry," quite sarcastically. I headed for the door and she again, sarcastically said "see you tomorrow!", to which I said that I didn't know if I could bring them back tomorrow. She then said "well, if you can't you need to let us know because we want to schedule someone else." I let my daughter know what had happened and when she called to find out why the mix-up, "Lisa" told her that "I" was rude and for her not to bring her dogs back and then hung up on my daughter. This woman certainly needs to take some customer service classes or something. She definitely could have handled this in a more appropriate manner by acknowledging that there might have been a mistake on their end. Instead, she continued to assure me that it was our mistake. The grooming there is also subpar. The last time I took my daughter's mini schnauzer in there, he went in with a skirt and came out without one. There was no matting or any reason for it. When I picked him up and asked why his skirt was all cut off, they acted like they had no idea he came in with one! What's bizarre is that the other dog that I also took in there at that time, a PBGV mix, went in with a skirt and came out without one! Do they not notice when they cut the dogs, what type of cut they have at that time? And, if you don't want your dogs crated ALL day, then you will have to pay an additional $10.00 per dog penalty, to be able to pick them up by noon. These people were sugary sweet the first time or two that we used them and it went downhill after that. Do yourself and your dogs a favor and go elsewhere. read more

Boarded our dog from July 10-July 24,2016 while on vacation..Left specific instructions regarding health issues,basic meds needed as far as Genteal eye drops for moisture and 1/4 pepcid daily and emergency vet information if he went 2 or more days without eating or any other medical emergency..Called on 3 occasions during vacation and was told he's great and everything's fine in a very abrupt and dismissive fashion..After one phone call my daughter stated "mom I don't think she even knew which dog I was talking about."..I told her not to worry even though the person was rude considering they have alot of overbearing parents to deal with but I was confident they would let us know if there was a problem..July 23 I called and was told he was fine but he seemed to be very tired..I asked her what did she mean and she stated again that he was fine but seemed a little tired..Upon arrival to Max and Elsie's at 8 am on July 24 the bill was immediately taken care of and then we were allowed to see our boy..Immediately and very visibly his right eye was matted shut with green gunk..I asked if his eye drops had been given and was told yes..We took him from Max and Elsie's directly to vet were he was diagnosed with eye infection and weight had went from 15.6 to 14 lbs in 10 days and were later told by Max and Elsie's that was due to increased activity..The bowl of wet food we had left at Max and Elsie's was empty and clean..I don't believe food was given to our dog and if it was he wasn't eating..It would've been absolutely impossible for no one at Max and Elsie's to notice that our dog came in with 2 clear eyes and at some point he had only one..We took him to pre-interview as required by Max and Elsie's before boarding and he was fine and accepted for boarding..It has been impossible to resolve this situation with Max and Elsie's due to several ignored phone calls and even evading certified mail..The neglect my dog endured at Max and Elsie's is unconscionable and diffIcult to understand..Why accept him for boarding if request for eyedrops and pepcid to be given was too difficult to be accommodated?..Why were we never informed of his condition?..How could no one have noticed?..Why would they disregard emergency vet information provided?..Max and Elsie's simply made sure he was alive for 10 days and in the event he never moved Max and Elsie's may have maintained they thought he was resting and asleep.. I DO NOT RECOMMEND MAX AND ELSIE'S PET FARM FOR BOARDING! read more
