We just moved to Parker from Seattle, WA and we have two corgis that usually get groomed every other month. I posted in a Parker Facebook group asking if anyone recommends a groomers and Pawsh came recommended. They were great about scheduling me, I thought I need a full hair cut and everything but they said they think the mini escape would be perfect and that they could see us sooner if we went with that one. Yesterday we dropped our little dudes off , they were shaky as per usual and the people who took them were just so sweet. I was texted when they were ready for pick up which was really convenient. Our dogs look AMAZING! They've never looked this good or felt this good before holy crap! and I found out that they don't cage the animals while they're back there which I thought was amazing and would help specialize out dudes. To say that I'm disappointed & upset is a complete understatement. I've been a client here with my 3 mini golden doodles for 4 years-ish now & spent a-lot of money here! I took 2 of my dogs in Friday, July 31st to be groomed. I spent $225 including tip to have these services done. When I went to pick up my pups, I was told by the groomer that she had the "heebie jeebie's" bc she found black specs of flea poop on my littlest dog at the end of grooming. She said it was very early stages. I asked if the other 1 had them too as I stood there in shock. She replied with a no. My dogs are together 100% of the time so this makes absolutely no sense to me to begin with. None of my dogs have ever had fleas nor do they spend much time outside at all or are around other dogs (they're inside city dogs) I've never seen fleas or anything on them at all & I check my dogs over everyday when petting! I would notice, plus they weren't itching like they would with fleas! She then stated that when her dogs (which are country dogs) get them she gives them a bath in dawn dish soap. If her dogs get them & she's a dog groomer why was she so grossed out with the "heebie jeebie's" IF my dog had them. Much better ways to break this to someone! She then directed me to a pet store to get medication for them to all take right away. So I left & immediately went to buy $62 worth of meds. Which was unnecessary looking back now. After speaking with several people, searching all my dogs front to bottom with a comb, plus doing the "spec test" with water & it not turning reddish-brown like it would if it was flea poop, it's determined there may have been some actual dirt residue on my dog, but not fleas or flea poop! You should be absolutely sure before you tell a client their dog has "heebie jeebie fleas"... I find this so unprofessional! There were other clients that had walked in over hearing all this as well, how embarrassing. My same dog was knicked on the neck last time she groomed him & I wasn't even told nor apologized to. My dogs were shaking & visibly scared when I dropped them off today too which they never used to be! After today I'm VERY unsatisfied & we won't be back! My 3rd dog is terrified & needs drugs now bc I think something bad to him happened here. Instead of telling me no, they just won't respond to me when I've asked to schedule him. I had an appt and called that I was gonna be a little late and asked if that was okay. A girl answered and said it would be okay as long as I made it within the 15 minute mark. I got here within the 15 minutes and I was waiting in the front desk nobody was there. when finally the guy came to talk to me he said we might need to reschedule because the girl could no longer take me in. I understand things happen but that would have been nice to know before arriving which is exactly why I called in advance. I don't live across the street...and I just made a really unnecessary trip that could have been avoided if the communication was clear during the phone call. very unprofessional. read more

They do a great job grooming and they are wonderful for boarding as well. We left our dog with Pawsh for 2 1/2 weeks. We've never boarded her for that long. When we picked her up she was happy and well cared for. Now we have peace of mind and relief that we have a trustworthy, safe place to board our dog. Denver is Pawsh's #1 fan! We love getting the full grooming and the blueberry facial. They always take such gentle care of him which means a lot because he's so old. The entire staff has their own pets so they really LOVE to work with animals. I've also used their at home dog walking service as my dog prefers routine and they send the cutest pic updates, play with him, and make him feel so taken care of. Before finding them he used to get super depressed but I know this team loves him and truly cares for him whatever the service he is getting. First review I've ever felt compelled to write. I couldn't get in with my regular groomer, and contacted this shop to ask if they could do a breed standard show cut on my Irish setter for a show on the following Sunday. They enthusiastically told me yes. When I dropped my dog off, the groomer wouldn't come out to talk to me, so the front desk person took him back. I again reiterated what was to be done. Later, I called in to pay over the phone because my husband was going to have to pick the dog up for me. I was told that I owed *$350*. In all of my years of having dogs, I've *never* been charged anywhere near that cost for a dog, show cut or not. Regardless, I paid, thinking that I'd at least have a great grooming job and would just never patronize their shop agian. You can see for yourself in the photos what I got. Multiple bald patches, choppy clipper cuts, some hair long, some short. It looks like a drunk took clippers to this dog. It was horrifying...I've never seen anything like this. Needless to say, I couldn't take this dog to show. When I contacted the shop the next day, the manager said that the dog was blowing his coat and that was why has bald patches (!) The owner has refused a refund (through the manager) and has refused to even speak with me. I have no idea why this place has a high rating on Yelp. Please beware and do not take your pet to this place for a groom. There are so many wonderful options in Parker...this is the absolute worst. read more

I've used Pawsh in Parker for dog boarding and grooming for a couple years now. In the beginning they were always great. Over the past 4-5 visits it's been nothing but issues. Dog has come home smelling like urine, has had cuts on him, had a bad eye infection after returning and now getting calls while out of town to come pick him up because he has caught kennel cough. Was in good health prior to going in. Of course the girl I called back just wants to argue and take zero accountability. This is the last time we use this business. Disappointed how they handled a groom injury :( My Shitzu was perfect before the groom and came out with an eye injury afterwards. I noticed the injury immediately afterwards, documented it with a photo and contacted them first thing in the morning. Sawyer the manager said the right things but a week later, came back with a "Wasn't our fault, we won't cover vet bills." It's terrible to see your dog in pain and even worse to have a groomer who isn't taking any responsibility for it. They said it must have been that way before I brought her in . Very disappointed in our grooming service for our 6 year old American Eskimo. After our grooming appointment he was brought out to us with poop in his fur, the woman working the front stated that he was "leaking" and that it was basically our fault for feeding him before the grooming (he did not eat before his appointment.) We were told they attempted to clean him up multiple times, but we spent an hour cleaning him up after we picked him up and once he was cleaned up, he was not "leaking" and there was actual formed stool stuck on him, which you can see in the photos. It was also NOT disclosed to us that in addition to having stool left in his fur, that he had been cut near his anus, under the poop they left on him. This is very concerning that they would not disclose this to us so that we could monitor the site appropriately for signs of infection, which is very likely seeing as how it was covered in poop. I will be doing all of his grooming myself from now because of this terrible situation that not only traumatized our dog but ultimately put his life at risk. I definitely do not recommend this place and if you do have your dog groomed here, be sure to inspect them for cuts after. read more

The staff is friendly enough, however the level of experience is sub par. We have taken our boy here before however this last appointment will be the last time. Upon picking our boy up from his appointment I noticed fresh blood on our car seats where he was sitting. Quick examination he was bleeding from his paw. We went in to inquire if there was an incident during his appointment and was told he "could" have cut himself on their cage or he could have been "nicked" during his nail trimming. Once home I did a thorough examination of him and found 2 sliced pads on his left, front paw. Every time we have taken him to a new groomer we ask if they have experience with large dogs. I've taken my dogs here twice so far. I have a chow and a Cairn Terrier that needs to be hand stripped. They look amazing when I pick them up. Very clean and smell great. They get their teeth brushed, hair and nails trimmed. The lobby looks luxurious like a human spa! I even saw some nails polish for the females. Too bad both of mine are boys! I was excited when I first found this place as it looked like a nice cute grooming shop. However, I feel like the pricing is expensive comparatively and not straightforward. I also went to take my dogs here recently for a scheduled appointment that was done months in advance. When I arrive, the door is locked and no one answering the phone. The vet next door said this happens regularly. It has been 24 hours and I have still not heard anything back from them. On a previous occasion, they let my dogs run out of the back room (without collars, leases or anything on) to the front. This wasn't a huge deal at the time, but if there happened to be another person walking in, they might have ran out the front door. I thought this was very unprofessional. read more
