My dog just needed a bath and nail trim, and Linda was his groomer. She did an absolutely phenomenal job with River. He can be a little wiggly at times, but she handled him with so much patience and genuine care. When I picked him up, he looked AMAZING. It's clear Linda takes real pride in her work and truly loves the dogs she grooms. River came home happy, calm, and looking like a total superstar. I was blown away that she felt she can talk to me that way. When I calmly pointed out that she didn't need to be rude, the situation escalated quickly. She became loud and confrontational -- even getting into my personal space -- all while another customer was present. I asked if someone else could assist me and was told she was the only one available. I kept my composure throughout, but her behavior was completely unacceptable for a customer-facing role. I left without wanting to return. Management should be aware that this type of treatment is driving customers away. I will not be coming back to this location. He has grown up on this food however he became sick not once but twice so I had concluded that the reason he became sick was the food. I wanted to alert the manufacturer of this situation. I explained the situation to Chris. He made an executive decision to allow me to replace my bag with another. I also learned that Centinella is no longer going to carry SoJo's because other pet owners simply have stopped purchasing this brand. I wonder if it's because their pets were also getting sick because the quality had deteriorated. I chose Honest Kitchen pet food because Chris said that it was made with human grade food, meaning I could add a little water to it and eat it myself.. As usual, this store is always very clean and the staff is polite. Unfortunately, I didn't have any time to take photos as I was on my lunch break. I know my Malinois-Pit mix would go crazy over those, but I admit I am not prepared for a fish breath scent, hahaha. By the entrance, we met several rescue guinea pigs & cats from a local shelter! How lovely that they're hosting these animals for adoption. We also melted over some adorable little mice & she checked out other reptiles, but she has her hands full.
