Paws on Pine is the best dog walking service, period. We have been using Paws for almost 2 years now and they have never missed a day. Our walker Carissa is incredibly nice. Brody loves her very much, he waits for her every afternoon and is all smiles during the walk. Heather is very professional, goes out of her way to accommodate last minute walks and pet sitting. She maintains meticulous notes on Brody that on the rare days when Carissa is under the weather, her substitute knows everything from where the leash is to Brody's mannerisms. I highly recommend their services. read more

Can't recommend paws on pine enough. I've used their cat sitting service twice already, and would reach back out to Heather and team in a heartbeat. Communication was very prompt, and I received both text and picture updates while I was away. read more

I found Heather and her team on Yelp two years ago when I moved to the LES - I've used her crew exclusively since. She's organized, responsive, and often (my own fault) I give her short notice for needing a cat sitter and she has not once let me down. Even further, my cat is always taken care of and throughout my travel I've been updated frequently and without asking. I couldn't think of one thing remotely negative about this service. Hire her! read more

Paws on Pine - One of her sitters took this pic..unreal / professional quality!!! Bonus! - Dog Walkers Near Me

Our dog loved the Paws on Pine walkers. He had a great time every time and the walkers took great care to take him to good spots for small dogs, give him the space to sniff as he pleased, and they always took pictures and shared them with us after a walk. Heather is so professional and she is flexible with our needs and scheduling changes as well. Thanks Paws on Pine! read more

Mike has cat-sat for my two cats for a few times now, and he's been great every time. He sends multiple pictures and videos of my cats every day while I'm gone, and makes sure to engage them with toys and snacks. The cats are always sweet and cuddly when I come back. Bonus: he's a great pet photographer and I get a few gems while I'm away (probably framing this one he took of my cat)! Heather, the owner, is great as well and very responsive. I have emailed her the night before a trip and she got back to me quickly. read more

i cant believe ive never reviewed Heather and Paws on Pine until now! we have been customers for just about a year when we moved from Brooklyn to Fidi with our little cat Sasha who is in her golden years and needs special care. Heather and her team are super responsive, kind and professional, and truly love what they do. to elaborate... responsive: Ive never gone beyond 30 minutes before receiving a confirmation for a cat sitting request kind and professional: sitters each time send me a fun photo of their visit and sasha clearly loves her paws on pine friends. once our sitter Michael noticed medication on the table that id forgotten to confirm instructions for and sent me a text. it was non essential pain meds so it wasn t a big deal if he hadnt given them to her, but he made sure to get in touch with us to confirm directions either way. it cemented my trust in their sitters. truly love what they do: photos we receive from the sitters always warm my heart...our kitty loves her sitters and you can tell the feeling is mutual. she rolls over and shows her belly to them- thats a big compliment! its so important to feel like your little fluffball is in the hands of a genuine animal lover, and all the Paws on Pine sitters truly are. we are so grateful for Heather and her staff! read more

Heather and the entire Paws on Pine staff have been a pleasure to work with! Our three year old pointer-mix Charlie adores Carissa and truly enjoys his mid-day walks with her. In addition to daily walks, we have used Paws on Pine for dog sitting services when away. Our plans often change last minute, and Heather has been helpful in accommodating our requests to the best of her and her team's abilities. They have been trustworthy and truly professional, and I highly recommend their services. read more

Heather & Paws on Pine have been a great resource! Since Lexington joined the family in November, Heather and her team have provided top-notch care and service. I'm always impressed by how quickly they respond to my requests or questions. Further, I have always felt like Lexington is in great hands and that her walker(s) are looking out for her well-being. Her team always checks in after walks and provides the cutest photos. I have also used Paws on Pine to watch Lexington over a long weekend and I will definitely be using that service again. I was given constant updates and photos -- making it clear that Lexington was well cared for. Heather and her team have always gone above and beyond -- something I truly appreciate. I would recommend Paws on Pine to anyone in the neighborhood looking for a dog walker or a sitter. read more

Heather has been a great cat sitter for us while we travel. Very responsive and goes above and beyond with her visits. She gives us tremendous piece of mind that our pet is being cared for while we're away. Highly recommend read more

I cannot recommend Paws on Pine highly enough. They've been my cat sitters since 2014 and are an essential part of my Fidi family / support system. Heather is both friendly and professional, and is a joy to correspond with. She is always very accommodating of my requests. Andrea (and Xavi before her) consistently did an excellent job with the actual home visits, sending lots of beautiful photos and an account of the days' activities. I (and the kitty) look forward to future visits from her. It's clear that everyone who works at Paws on Pine is compassionate, dedicated, and a true lover of animals. You won't find better sitters. read more

As a semi-new pet parent I was so worried about having a dog walker come to give Elsie mid day relief walks. I wanted to find someone who would give her the time she needed but also a walker who was respectful of our time and home. Paws on Pine is everything I could have hoped for in a service. Heather is INCREDIBLY responsive and so lovely to work with. She answered all my questions quickly and with care. She selected Crystal to be Elsie's walker and it was a perfect match. I'm so happy I found Paws on Pine - they have given me peace of mind and I'm happy to be a part of their family. read more

We have been using Paws on Pine to care for our feline friend for years. Heather and her team are amazing and make it possible to travel and know that our furry family member is well cared for, and played with! Recently we had to travel on a family matter and it was so great to feel secure in knowing that Heather and her team are making sure that beyond feeding and litter box maintenance - she is showered with affection! Cannot recommend enough! read more

Absolutely, the most professional dog walking service I have ever worked with!! I have a 9-month old puppy, Henry, and it was the first time I was leaving him in the care of others during the work week. The owner, Heather and Henry's walker Dean, were so caring and put my nerves at ease within the first week. They consistently keep an open line of communication and kept me updated with a status and pictures after every single walk. I typically don't write reviews, however, Heather and Dean deserve 10 out of 10 for the way they took care of my puppy! Highly recommend them! read more

I've used Paws on Pine for years, and they've never disappointed. Heather, the owner, always finds a cat sitter, even on short notice. And the cat sitters send daily videos and photos of their visits. I had tried other pet sitting services before, and none were nearly as reliable. Paws on Pine is flawless. read more

We've been living in NYC for about 2 years and went through three dog walkers before we found Heather and her team. Having a dog in the city is difficult and I literally couldn't do it without Paws on Pine. Heather is highly responsive and extremely dedicated to her customers. Our walker Caitlin is the sweetest and our pup adores her. Her team also came to our rescue when our flight got cancelled and we needed an emergency walk late night and early morning. So happy we found this company! read more

Paws on Pine - Such a happy boy after his walk! - Dog Walkers Near Me

I have been using Paws on Pine for years to watch my cat Sophie. Heather, the owner, is so responsive and everyone she employs is really sweet and responsible! I've had flights cancelled last minute and been unable to return, as well as just plain forgetting until I'm about to leave for the airport, and Paws on Pine is always so accommodating and willing to step in and take extra days. I've had a few different catsitters through the years and all of them have been reliably great which is so important when you are letting people into your home while you are away. Honestly don't know what I would do without this service! read more

I am known to be a difficult, picky, and hard customer. I like things my way, especially when it comes to my home and my pets. I have a hard time trusting people I don't know. Paws on Pine earned that trust. Professional, humane, high-quality services. Worth your time and support. read more

Paws on Pine is the best dog walking group in lower manhattan. Heather is professional and employs an amazing team. Caitlin has been walking my dog for over 2 years and my dog absolutely loves her. Caitlin sends photo and text updates after every walk. She loves my dog as much as I do! They are the most affordable place I have found, completely reliable and professional, and always available. I occasionally need last minute weekend walks and Heather always manages to arrange someone to come! I would give 10 stars if i could! highly recommend. read more

Paws on Pine has been wonderful. We very quickly were approved for our rescue and in short order needed to find a flexible dog walking service. Heather and Amber came to our apartment to meet our dog and see our set up. It was super easy to set up our walks with Amber every week and we would get invoices which we could pay by Venmo. My pup loves Amber and she is so great with him. Once we realized he needed to run around more to release his energy we also extended his walks and had her take him to the local dog park. Every time she would come for his walks, he would get so excited. We are moving out of the city soon. We will miss the excellent service at Paws on Pine! We highly recommend it. read more

Paws on Pine is great. I travel frequently for work and used them on a regular basis to care for my two cats. They do a great job of communicating about their visits and taking pictures. Three years later since I first met Paws on Pine and it is still the best dog walking and pet sitting service in lower Manhattan! I have a complicated sensitive dog that Heather and her team take time to find the 'right' walker/sitter for her personality so she feels safe and at ease. I trust Paws on Pine with not only my fur baby and tropical fish, but in my house with all my cherished possessions. I feel Heather's Paws on Pine family of walkers/sitters have become part of my family as well and I highly recommend them. read more

Lifesavers!!! Paws on Pine saved us from having to succumb to any lesser dog walking service. Heather was prompt with answering our questions and coming in to see our puppy Benson last minute before my wife had to leave for a three week business trip across the country. Nick was the dog walker and he was stupendous for these three weeks! I highly recommend him and benson loves him just as much. No complaints at all. Nick was even courteous enough to change his wee wee pads at home and send us pictures of benson's walks which i thoroughly enjoyed. You will not find a better service in the downtown manhattan area or in FiDi. Thank you Heather and Nick!!! read more

I moved into the financial district in June 2016. One thing that was really important to me was to find a cat sitter that I fully trust to take care of two cats. One cat is super social, but the other takes some time to really warm up to people. Xavi has formed a bond with both cats, takes great pictures of them and sends them to me to give me peace of mind. When I have to travel, it is such a sense of comfort, trust, and true appreciation that he gives them the love and attention they need! read more

I am so grateful to have met Heather and discovered Paws on Pine. She and her team took such gracious, loving care of my two senior french bulldogs. They treat your pet as their pet. If all businesses were run like Paws on Pine, my life would be significantly easier. We've been working with Heather since June 2016 and could not be happier. Andrew and Mike walk our english bulldog Oscar and occasionally take care of our cat and both have been beyond fantastic. They text us a photo and an update after every visit. Billing is simple and efficient. We've had to request last-minute walks and they have always been extremely accommodating. I recently had my first child and we needed to add unscheduled walks and feedings while I was in labor and in the hospital and we had no issues whatsoever. We love Heather and her team and would not hesitate to recommend them. read more

Paws is great, they are very flexible. They took very good care of our dog and even played ball with him in the hallway when we asked. They also sent a text and pictures/videos every walk. read more

Heather runs a tight ship. All my dealings with the Paws on Pine crew have been great. This was my first time using a dog walking service and I wasn't sure what to expect. PoP set a high bar. Firstly, the service is completely reliable. I work from home quite a bit and our dog walker Jen always arrived at the requested time. Consistency is a big deal when you have a nervous Chihuaha and Jen took the time to introduce Pepper to her stand-in when she was going on vacation. Finally, PoP was really flexible and was always able to work Pepper into the schedule, even when, on a couple of occasions, I was able to give only short notice. All in all Pepper enjoyed her private walks with Jen and was always really happy to see her. I'd recommend this service to pet owners in Downtown Manhattan. read more

I am so grateful for Paws on Pine and the peace of mind having a reliable dog walking service has given me. I've been using Paws on Pine for a few months now and have had two dog walkers, both of which were excellent. They each came by to meet my dog before the first walk and asked thoughtful questions about my dog and my preferences. Heather also came by to meet me and my dog before the very first walk and she has been incredibly responsive to my texts and emails ever since. I highly recommend Paws on Pine! read more

I moved to NYC with my best friend and dog, Noodle, a 7 year old Maltese, back in November. Working long hours in soho I knew that I would need a dog walker to help noodle get through the days. I found Paws on Pine through their website and shortly after I reached out Heather came over to meet Noodle. It was friendship at first site. It eased my mind immediately because heather came into my apt and got down on the floor and asked to play with Noodle. Noodle ran over, tail wagging, and it was clear this was someone I could trust with my puph. Noodle gets walked daily, m-f, by Danielle and she brightens my day by sending a picture or two of noodle and an update of how the walk went. I couldn't be more pleased with Paws on Pine and would highly recommend them to others! read more

If I could give this 100 stars I would! The first weekend of June my husband and I were going away and our regular cat sitter had canceled on us on THURSDAY (we were leaving that Friday morning)! Needless to say I was desperate to find someone to take care of my two kittens. Thank God I stumbled upon Paws on Pine! Heather, the owner, is the best! She set me up with Sarah, an AMAZING cat sitter who took wonderful care of our kittens! She went to see them twice a day and sent us text messages with MANY pics of them after every visit! Sooo sweet! I highly recommend them! Peace of mind is truly priceless! read more

The owner of this company, Heather, has managed to hire the most responsible, caring, and just all around awesome dog walkers! I've personally been paired with Sam and Mike and I trust them both implicitly. Each of the walkers arrives promptly and always checks in to see if Betty needs any medication or treats. On their walks, they take pictures of Betty and text them to me. I'm pretty sure these guys are professional photographers because I can't get Betty to look at the camera to save my life but they send me perfect shots of my little pup. After the walk they text to tell me if Betty did her business. They've also been super accommodating with some of my "mommy fails" when I need someone last minute. Prices are superb! If you really want your pup in the very best hands, Paws on Pine is the way to go! read more

Heather and her crew are awesome. We started using Paws on Pine when we first got our dog almost two years ago. Jennifer and Crystal have been her walkers; and we've used a number of their employees for dog sitting. They are very responsive, reasonably priced and so caring with my baby girl! My dog loves them and gets so excited when we run into them in the neighborhood. As a bonus, I now have a ton of great pictures of my dog because Crystal is a much better photographer than I am. They are amazing! read more

I absolutely loved my entire experience with Paws on Pine. I have really high expectations because I had a fantastic cat sitter in my old town, and I am so happy that I found Paws on Pine because they are just as good if not better. Heather was easy to work with and very communicative, and Jennifer (the sitter) was incredible as well. She sent me about 10 photos of my cat each day via text with a quick update. I came home and my cat was in great spirits. I have tried a highly ranked competitor in the area and I would choose Paws on Pine everyday over them. Highly recommend them! read more

When people love what they do, you can see it in the way they do their jobs. POP has been our dog walking, dog sitting, dog everything service since we moved into the South Street Seaport in August. Paws on Pine is the best! The prices are reasonable, and the service is top notch. Heather is extremely professional and always answers communications immediately. I feel so lucky that I found Paws on Pine!!! I initially searched the internet for some sort of cat watching service for when I go out of town and I stumbled on to Paws on Pine. The reviews said it all so I immediately reached out to Heather. Heather got back to me right away so she could set up a "consult" and come over to my apartment to meet Dolce. I warned her that Dolce is extremely skittish and hides when she hears any new voice, the doorbell, etc. It is just me and dolce in the apartment so she usually does not warm up to anyone -- even my family and friends. When Heather and I walked in the door, Dolce of course hid. Heather started asking me questions about her food, favorite toys, litter box, personality, etc. and was taking notes on her phone the whole time so I knew she really cared and would remember everything. Less than 5 minutes into our discussion, Dolce came out from under the bed and slowly approached Heather and rubbed up against her. I was shocked.. she never does this! She clearly sensed an animal lover and the smell of other dogs & cats probably didn't hurt. Long story short... Heather and Paws on Pine are awesome. They have totally put me at ease while traveling and I feel confident Dolce has the best care. I usually arrange to have Heather visit twice a day when I am out of town and she always shows up during the time frame I request and sends me updates and pictures during every visit! The pictures are great because it confirms how happy Dolce is! Thank you Paws on Pine, you are a godsend and leave me with no worries when I go out of town! read more
