My doodle (almost 2 years old!) recently completed the one-week Board & Train program at Paws…read moreChateau with Todd and his team, and I couldn't be happier with our experience! As a full-time working Mom to a teen who also has a busy schedule, I needed some extra help with training, and I'm so glad I chose Paws Chateau. My pup had never been away from me for an entire week, but the team made me feel completely comfortable and confident that she was in great hands. I especially appreciated the webcams in the daycare areas and her room, so I could check in on her whenever I wanted. The entire experience felt organized, structured, and thoughtful. I loved all the little extras, from seasonal puppuccinos and a blueberry facial during her bath to the adorable graduation photo she received at the end! Most importantly, the improvement in her manners and behavior has been amazing! Loose-leash walking was one of our biggest struggles, and now our walks are so much more enjoyable for both of us. She responds to commands so much better and has made significant progress with distractions. We're looking forward to continuing with their group training classes and, of course, more daycare visits! I highly recommend Todd and the Paws Chateau team to anyone looking for quality training and a place where their dog is genuinely cared for.

What a wonderful facility!…read more My bf and I were going to be out of town for the weekend and we didn't have anyone who could watch our dog. After doing some research, we found Paws Chateau and thought it was worth giving a try due to the many positive reviews. I really liked that they had an initial first meeting/temperament test to see how your dog plays with other dogs. They had a board in the front welcoming him, which was so cute!! Our dog is very playful and he's a husky mix so he likes to play rough so I was pretty worried that it might be too much. Turns out I was worried about nothing because he played just fine! They had a tv in the drop off area for you watch the play area! That first day was also a free day camp/daycare day which was amazing. They told us we could come back in a couple of hours to pick him up so that was nice. Upon picking him up, they had a report card with comments of how he did. He was knocked out that night. Day comes where we leave him for the weekend. The drop off time is after 3PM so he did get some play time in. We had opted for the deluxe suite since that had a camera in his room and we were able to watch him overnight. He was pretty stressed that first night and was in and out of sleep, which had me worried as it was his first time boarding. But as the days passed, he definitely got better and would sleep through the nights just fine. When we dropped him off, I had asked if they could give him a bath when we picked him up and they were able to do that! I didn't ask for the price but honestly they did a great job. He smelled so good after. They had a promo at the time where if he stayed three nights consecutively the fourth night was free so we did that. So in total, it was $311 for four nights and one bath. They also had a report card for this stay which is now on the fridge. Honestly no boarding is perfect imo. But this place comes pretty close. I would absolutely come back again in the future because riku had such a great time!

I found out the day she met me(she may be finding this out now) there was the long beach marathon going on and it had her going in circles trying to get to my house because all the streets were block she persisted on and got here. I was in the middle of it and its nearly impossible to get to my place but she found it and came as promised. I wouldn't have blamed her if she gave up but that shows to me she was perfect person to take care of my cats. I don't like to board my cats just because they are hard to get into their carrier, rowdy in the car(one never makes a peep only when in the car) and probably don't like being in a cage because i rescued them from a shelter where they were in small kennels so i feel bad. Sherri was great even though my cats are not used to anyone but me around one came out to meet her right away but my other one (formerly feral) finally made an appearance near the end. so just that means he's trusting her and thinking about getting pet(he never leaves my side i think he was wanting some pet). I didn't worry when i was away because she responds to any of my emails or text immediately or let me know my cat finally made his royal appearance. Having a cat sitter that you trust in your home and with your cats is a big issue with me but i trust Sherri 100% and was the best way to leave my cats at home where their stress levels would be at a minimum. She is a cat person like me and no better of a person like her to take care of your cats while your away. Hopefully next time my other one will cozy up to her but then he might not want her to leave cuz he never leaves my side. hes sitting on my arm while im typing this. i would highly recommend better than i expected and will be a returning customer so id give her a try if your are reading this she is a very sweet lady and left a catnip cigar one of my cat loves to hug and kick with her back legs.

I had never left my 2 younger cats for an even a day before and was super nervous. I needn't have worried because they were in the best of care with Sherri. She made twice daily visits, tried to lure my scaredy cat boys out of their hiding places, and gave me daily updates with pictures. She was also super great with my and my mom's senior kitties who didn't hide. I highly recommend Sherri if you are looking for a professional cat sitter with years of experience, a kind heart, and a fair rate. Thanks, Sherri!

I was looking for dog boarding at the very last minute and Wendy was very accommodating in taking…read morein my 2 dogs. I literally booked with her 2 days before the stay. My 54 lb Jindo does not do well with strangers, she is all bark but no bite. I was very anxious bringing her to any dog care but Wendy was willing to do an assessment prior to their stay. This was my very first time doing any sort of dog care so I was really worried about leaving them. They did really well and my other dog had so much fun (he's a social butterfly). The main reason I chose this place vs all the other dog boarding is because they offer a "home" living experience rather than a facility/warehouse. My dogs always freely roams the house and lays on our bed, couch, wherever they please so I wanted something similar and Wendy's house provided that. I couldn't bare the thought of them being kept in a narrow sleeping quarter locked throughout the day. Thank you for taking great care of my babies! This place will definitely be my go-to for any future dog boarding.

It pains me deeply to write this review, but I believe our experience needs to be shared with other…read moredog owners who may be considering leaving their pets with a dog daycare or boarding provider. It has been exactly one month since we lost our beloved French Bulldog, Louie, to heat stroke after leaving him with OC Paw House in Tustin, California. We dropped Louie off at approximately 9:05 a.m. for what was supposed to be a four-hour half-day visit. The purpose was simply to see how well he interacted with the other dogs before we considered boarding him there for a week later in September. I believed I had done my due diligence as a responsible pet owner. The business had more than 100 five-star reviews, and I could not find even a single review below five stars. They also had many photos of french bulldogs on their social media. That gave me a great deal of confidence in leaving Louie in their care. Unfortunately, what happened that morning is something our family will live with forever. At 11:33 a.m., I received a photo and text showing Louie with several other dogs. In the photo, what appeared to be Louie's vomit was clearly visible near his front paws. When I later examined the photo more carefully, I noticed that it had been taken at approximately 10:18 a.m. That timeline is extremely important. Wendy, the owner, later told me that Louie was having difficulty with the heat while at an unshaded dog park on an approximately 81-degree day. She said that after about 5-10 minutes, they decided to take him back to the house. The house is approximately an eight-minute drive from the dog park. Yet I did not receive a phone call telling me that Louie was in serious distress until approximately 11:45 a.m. I was then told that he was not breathing. That leaves me with a question I still cannot get past: What happened between approximately 10:18 a.m., when Louie was apparently already showing signs of distress, and the time I was finally contacted? As Louie's owner, it is devastating to think that he may have been struggling for an extended period of time without receiving the urgent intervention he needed. In my opinion, what happened demonstrates a serious lack of training, judgment, and emergency preparedness. This is especially troubling because Wendy told me that she owns or has owned a French Bulldog and understands that Frenchies do not tolerate heat well. Brachycephalic breeds such as French Bulldogs are widely known to be particularly vulnerable to overheating. Afterward, I obtained a report from OC Animal Care. Based on my reading of that report, I learned information about the business and its licensing status that I did not know when I entrusted Louie to their care. The report also contains statements regarding overnight boarding and the individuals who provide dog-walking services that, in my view, do not match my understanding of how the business was represented or operated. I encourage anyone considering this business--or any dog daycare or boarding provider--to verify its licensing, insurance, training, emergency procedures, supervision practices, and experience caring for your specific breed. Do not rely solely on online reviews. I wish I had known to ask more questions. Louie was not just our dog. He was part of our family, and losing him this way has been heartbreaking. I am writing this review because I cannot change what happened to Louie, but perhaps sharing our experience will cause another dog owner to ask the questions I wish I had asked--and potentially prevent another family from experiencing the loss that ours has endured.
