I was in complete disbelief at how well my experience went. Drew was one of the most interesting people my wife and I have ever met, but he really knows and loves his craft. He's very passionate about what he does, and wants to be able to empower you in training your dog in obedience. He came to our house, and after one session with our pup was able to fix so many issues and behavioral problems we have been having. He was very patient and kind and thorough and willing to answer any and all questions we had. He was very generous with how he dealt with us, and he works well to make sure you are capable of continuing the training once he leaves. Drew responded to my desperate call for help by saying he could work with my dog a few days later on a Sunday. He called to get the address before coming over but then he couldn't figure out how to use a very simple call box to get in. My neighbor helped him out (he shouldn't have since he didn't know him and Drew got belligerent when asked who he was calling for). Drew came in and my pup began to growl and bark at him, not her usual friendly reaction to guests. He got her turned around and worked with her a bit. He told me a few things to do with her (that I was already doing) and didn't get to the heart of the matter that I couldn't catch her to put a leash on her. He told me to text him in a couple of days and let me know how she was doing. I tried working with the pup the way he showed me and even bought a horrible prong collar (so how do I get her to sit still for that, Drew?). His response to my text verified that he had no idea, still, of who I am as he referred to my dog as "he." The dog is a female. He never bothered learning my name to get in the building or to work with me. I did not feel safe with him in my home, especially after I found out that he lives in his van and his children are not allowed to visit him there. He smelled really bad, not a professional way to go to work with clients. Since that first lesson and follow-up text by me, there has been no further communication. I hate to give a bad review, but I really think Drew has no credentials and should stay away from your dog. read more

Our first training session with Blessed Dog exceeded our expectations on every level. Drew and his assistant Danielle were a force to be reckoned with. Our dogs, Molly Pearl and Harlo Mae, two dachshunds, fell in love with them shortly after they started to work their magic. Drew, the owner and tour de force, presents the challenge of training with a spiritual and gentle philosophy, emphasizing the role of leadership, patience, positive rewards, play, and acknowledgement by praise and treats to achieve a successful training experience. He believes that the walk holds the key to achieving successful outcomes. While training, he suggests that the training really blossoms while taking two short walks. He also emphasizes that too much repetition at once is counterproductive. As humans, we only like to be told once, dogs many need a few repetitions, but no need to overdo it. Our two hour session was miraculous. While Danielle took notes, Drew interacted with our dogs both together and separately, and led us step-by step addressing the issues we wanted help with. Both my husband and I learned quickly from Drew's modeling and our dogs responded positively in a very short time. We walked each dog separately, first he modeled, then we took the reins. We were amazed at how much better our dogs responded when we employed Drew's philosophy. The true test was this morning's walk. Nobody does dog training like Drew! Our pittie, rescue, Henry was fearful and nervous around guests in our home and was all over the place on our walks. We worked with Drew privately in our home and took advantage of the free group classes as well. I highly recommend Blessed Dog Training. Drew is amazing! The cute little puppy we brought home for a Christmas present was quickly turning into a nightmare experience. I was not sure we were going to be able to keep him. Drew came to our house, got to know Owen and gave us the tools we needed in order to not only handle our little guy but enjoy him. Contacted Drew after seeing his reviews here on Yelp. He is very much a Dog Whisperer. He met us at a great location, it was busy and had many distractions, which at first i was confused by. What I didnt realize was the method here. Our dog needed the distractions to learn with! She responded amazingly and Drew was able to teach us so much in a short period. I have a rescue dog, Summer, who is American Pit Bull and labador. She was very scared and extremely protective of me or my home. One problem is she jumped on everyone when they came in. When I met Drew, he came to my house and when Summer jumped on him he grabbed her paws and ignored her, she just left and laid down, I couldn't believe it! Also, he has a technique to mentally tire the dog which is great for me as I'm an elder and can't walk her a long time, Drew has shown me the way to mentally tire this muscle dog, and I appreciate it so much. Honest, Drew is amazing! I adopted an abused Boxer that's about 7 years old a few month ago. Recently, we've noticed he's been getting very aggressive towards strangers (family members and visitors he's not familiar with) and he would attack anyone who came to the house. For weeks I tried everything and anything to try and get him to stop but I wasn't having any luck. Because of my dogs past, I am afraid (don't have the heart) to scold him or punish him. I found Drew on Livingsocial and he came over. At first, my dog was very aggressive towards him but after the first training session my dogs attitude s hanged completely. Drew is just amazing. He came to our house and met with my wife , my two year old Sheltie Sophie and Auggie our 5 month old Sheltie . Drew quickly formed a bond with all of us. He gently disciplined Auggie for biting Sophie. Sophie was so happy that someone recognized her situation she walked up to Drew and gave him a loving kiss. Drew also made very positive recommendation for the dogs diet that made them very healthy from being sick in the past . Drew is AMAZING! My rescue dog Copper was suffering from extreme separation anxiety when I found his training ad online. I was desperate for help as I was getting kicked out of my apartment because Copper howled when alone and he even tried to hurt himself by jumping out of a second story window in order to be w/people! I had tried everything from herbal remedies to bark collars and other trainers. NOTHING worked until I met Drew. The second Drew walked into my apartment I knew he was something special. Drew is amazing! My dog bit my son on the face (didn't puncture the skin) and we were so distraught that we needed help ASAP.
