There are a…read morecouple things I would like to point out: there is a dog park next to the splash pad so people bring their dogs to the splash pad even though it says not to. I don't mind but my son is allergic to dogs and it could start up his allergies which I then would mind. Also we set up a blanket on the grass and this grass has the tiny spikey balls in the grass so that was an inconvenience trying to clean that off. But overall, the park is clean, the other kids and parents are friendly and there isn't anyone here who isn't supposed to be which is nice.

I wish there was more shade but it seems playgrounds never have any. My toddler enjoyed all the water fun. It's pretty well kept and there's also 2 large dog parks right next to it. I didn't check to see if there were restrooms though. Parking is just on the street as the park is in the middle of a community.

It is separated into two sides for large and small dogs and both sides are well appointed toys and activities for the dogs. They have both grassy areas and an area that is more dirt/ sand, so there are options for your pup. They also have watering stations and hoses. For the humans, they have multiple benches and I noticed specifically on the small dog side that there was a bench area under a full shade for very hot days. As usual, the large dog area contained more occupants than the small dog side, but we did meet one very sweet little pup while we were there for our dog to play with and she got to get out and stretch her legs. We all really enjoyed our time here.

Sure, the area is not the greatest, and the locals are definitely... interesting, but once you get past all that, this dog park is kind of a hidden gem. The park itself is huge. Bigger than most dog parks I've seen, which is impressive. My only gripe? No trash cans outside the park. Super inconvenient for people like me who prefer to keep their dogs outside the fenced area. That said, my pups had the time of their lives frolicking in the grassy areas, which are surprisingly nice and well-kept. Everyone there seemed to mind their own business, which, let's be real, is a blessing. If your dog needs to burn off energy and you're in the Hemet area, this park is as good as it gets.
