IRRESPONSIBLE DOG OWNERS HERE!!! first time at this park, I went and nobody was there around 12pm. a while later This older couple comes in with their husky and let him off the leash, and the interaction is semi-okay but my dog isn't even a year so I made sure to keep him close since I don't know how he would act. He is generally just overly excited and wants to run up and greet but i don't let him yet. This couples dog came over and their dog kept trying to mount my puppy. All they did was say "no humping" and let him run around still. I should have known and took him out but I wasn't quick enough. I talked to the lady a little bit and her comments were just very questionable like as if because my dog is a pitbull that makes him the one in the wrong automatically. Their husky completely ignored them and then ignored me and even as my pup was right next to me with his leash , started to try mounting my pup again. my dog didn't like that and a scuffle ensued. I got bit in the midst of it all, and even as their dog had my dogs face in its mouth, they just kept saying "let go" and tried getting him back on the leash. My dog was pretty shaken and even after he stopped, their dog STILL came after mine and bit him in the leg and tried pulling and all they said was "let go of him" like it was no big deal. I was too busy making sure my dog was good and looked at my wound and by the time I looked back they were out the gate and already pretty much gone as the man's wife was saying "that's it," and some other things. before they walked away as i was holding my dog she had the nerve to say "you should still be careful of pit bulls.." and other nonsense. EXCUSE ME?! I did right by containing my dog and the nerve to try to blame it on my dogs breed when it was THEIR HUSKY who wouldn't leave mine alone. I have some good puncture wounds and the fact that they just left is completely irresponsible. I'm guessing it was their first time there like mine but to just leave and not even see if my dog or me were okay is extremely fucked up. My dog is a puppy, i've had him less than a month. He is new to everything after I adopted him from SB animal shelter, and so I wanted to introduce him to some new sights, smells, and other dogs. He doesn't really know how to act so when someone came in I put him on the leash since he gets overly excited. I did my part and felt I was being a responsible owner by making sure he stayed close and leashed even in the park. he doesn't even know aggression because he has never been exposed to anything like that. he is all play. I was by myself and the fact that they didn't even take responsibility. there was no sorry, just running away. The couple was an older couple, looked caucasian. the lady had a hat and sunglasses. don't remember the man too much. we were all talking and everything seemed to be "fine" but they didn't control their dog. I would have gotten their information but the way they left so fast and were already gone by the time I got up is crazy. I would definitely remember them if I saw them. My dog was so defeated, he has a small limp and I had to carry him partly to the car and inside once we got home. i'm very disappointed because it's my first dog and our first time at the dog park. I felt I was prepared to the best of my ability and I know some other people aren't as responsible for their dogs but it's common sense if yours dog doesn't know how to act you take control. This was a lesson learned and I hope that this can help others in the future. i'm more disappointed in the fact that they just left me and my dog like this and didnt even check if we were okay. they were only concerned with getting their dog out and leaving because they were judgmental about my dog and trying to place blame. cute dog park! i like how it was pretty clean! not a lot of dog poop everywhere and it didn't smell either. lots of fresh green grass for the dogs to roam and there's a big dog part and a small dog part. they had a cute decoration in the front as well. seems pretty popular as there were a decent amount of dogs read more

(OUR DOG GOT BITTEN BY ANOTHER HERE) ! Can you believe it? This dog park is astonishing when it comes to the views . So why such low of a star review , keep reading . I'm not quite sure our dogs fully grasp the concept of how spoiled they are coming here. It's an amazing park when it comes to the environment, & we are never disappointed each time we come. These good park experiences here encouraged us as dog parents to take our girl out more to frequently socialize her around other dogs and humans . We've come across some amazing people here. Our sweet Doberman is currently 4 months old . From the professional advice we've taken from a professional trainer , they have a critical socialization window anywhere from 8-16 weeks in order to expose them to as many different sounds,sights, people etc. as possible. This in turn will help them when older to become much more comfortable and not such a reactive dog (barking, biting, etc) when in these new environments. We've been on top of this socializing since she's been 3 months.Us as many other dog parents only want what's best for there own dog. What better way to socialize her than this beautiful park? She's been around multiple dogs and people , seeing her grow more with confidence from the first time we visited . She's a complete sweet heart if you've been able to interact with her. It made us feel so good. However on 2/20/2025 this day changed everything for us after this dog park experience with another owner. She was playing in the small dog area, & by instinct whenever a new dog comes in they all sniff and give warm welcomes . When our babygirl was greeting the other dog with some sniffs the other dog immediately snapped and bit her on the nose causing her to bleed. As dog owners we acknowledged that the other dog was scared of new comers & didn't take a liking to our sweet girl. We decided to remove her from the park for safety concerns . In a brief moment no verbal interaction was made between us and the owner whose dog bit ours because being in an emotional state after seeing your dog being bitten by theirs is not a good feeling . No apologies were given by the owner. However a sweet lady who saw everything gave us some water to rinse her bite off. Thank you for being mindful to whoever you were. For privacy and respect of the other dog owner who bit our girl , we will not display photos of them. Our wish is not to spread harm or hate, we just want to spread awareness to other dog owners to prevent this from happening to their dog. We've now learned the worst thing you can do as a dog owner is assume! Never assume another owner has taken the responsibility to properly train their dog. We will continue to socialize her elsewhere for the time being , however our sweet girl won't let this rain shine on her parade! read more

Redlands Dog Park Is Full Of Dogs of all sizes ! The Grass Is Green On The Outside before entering the dog park , and once you do there's nothing but space ! I love that there's small hills the dogscan run up . There's water bowls for the dogs , and fountains . Now the downside is if you're at the park on a crowded day , there's very minimal seating ! Came here to check out this dog park. This is a large lovely park, but I agree with some of the posts that owners shouldn't allow their large dog in the small dog area. When I arrived, an owner let his larger husky in the small dog area. The dog was very friendly and immediately went to greet the other smaller dogs. Also, there was a larger dog in the other large dog area that kept barking and trying to chase a smaller dogs in the small dog area. The owners just stood there watching their dog and didn't bother calling their dog back or try to train his behavior and allowed the dog to do that. Not quite sure if I want to bring my dog here if owners don't control their dogs. Plus, there's no shade during the summer months. read more

Really like this dog park! Most of the small dogs are very friendly and welcoming to new dogs. I've also met some really nice people at this park! The biggest con = lack of shaded areas if you go on a sunny day. It seems most of the "regulars" come between 8am and 11am because that's when the weather isn't unbearable. read more

Large park! Dog area has small and large dog areas. Minimal shade unfortunately. I did like that they have 2 entrances, one at the front and the back. The park as a whole was really nice, with 2 ponds for fishing and lots of hills and trees. I wish they had a paved path for strollers tho. Bathrooms need some TLC & doors!!! read more

The large dog park is a pretty good size. On weekends there are a good amount of people depending on the time you go. There are bowls set out for the dogs to drink water from. Some areas have shade for us humans to hide in. Not surprising, but the grass is patchy because of all the dogs running around. During the rainy season it can get a little muddy. There aren't any obstacles like some dog parks. It's just a flat running area. Overall it's a good fenced in area for your dogs to run and mingle with other 4 legged friends. read more

I came here on my way back from Big Bear (I'm not from the area). It was my first time taking my pups to a dog park so I was nervous but the people here are so understanding. I have two pitbull and amstaff mixes and they played in the big dog area with the other dogs nicely. Everyone picks up after themselves as far as I can tell. But ultimately the upkeep of this place is up to the people. They have a big dog area and a small dog area, separated so please keep your dogs there accordingly. I absolutely loved this park and wished I lived closer. It's so green and it's a good place for a walk as well and there's even ducks and goose nearby. I look forward to bringing my pups to more off leash parks though. read more

Best dog park ever. Always clean, lawn manicured, beautiful view, our pup adores it!

Bring my dog here pretty often and he loves it. For the most part I have no issues with this park. Most of the issues have to do with the humans not dogs. People don't watch their dogs, pick up their poop, or just read dogs and know when it's time to leave. Most of the fights happen between the humans. Overall very busy park. read more

Pretty big park but I have seen multiple dog owners bring their big dogs to the small dog part of the park. It's really frustrating when anxious dog owners are trying to socialize their pups appropriately :( Another thing was the crawfish that my roommate and I found! We're new to the area and planned a puppy play date early in the morning around 7 AM or so and saw LIVE crawfish in the dog park! I was told that birds in the park will grab them and fly over the park and drop them unintentionally if the crawfish had snapped the birds with their pinchers. They were snapping at the kind gentleman who was nice enough to use his fetching stick to throw them over the fence. But I could only imagine how injured my curious corgi could have been if he saw it before I did! The dirt in the park gets all over your dog & everywhere else so be sure to bring wipes and wear not-so-nice shoes read more

Wonderful place to take your dog and family to the surrounding Ford Park. There are tennis courts, swingset/play area, and fishing pond located within Ford park. It's a nice place to come to enjoy the outdoors. If you are looking for a lush green area to enjoy this is great for the whole family or just you and your dog. The dog area is separated for big and small dogs. Big dog side is normally bustling later morning and close to dusk where the little dog side is busiest early morning and close to dusk as well. Mid day is fairly hot and inactive in the dog areas. There are picnic tables, benches, a few trees, water fountains, and some dog bags within the dog park. Definitely recommend! They really know how to treat a doggie around here. Maddy loves it; I see the excitement in her little face when we park in the parking lot. There's plenty of grass at this dog park. I've been to many others where the dog park is mostly dirt that can get very muddy in the rain. Here, the whole dog park is grass. They have water fountains for dogs and humans to take a break from playing. The other dog owners are very friendly and nice. Everyone seems to be aware of their dog and monitors their behavior. The other dogs play well and Maddy has a good workout and playtime with friends. There are separate fenced in areas for large dogs and for small/timid dogs. There's a total difference between the two. In the large dog area, the dogs tend to play together and chase each other or play fetch. There's plenty of rough housing going on. In the small/timid dog area, the dogs seem to huddle around their owners and don't interact as much. Maddy would terrorize the dogs in the small/timid dog area. There's a couple of parking lots to accommodate a lot of cars. The larger park has tennis courts, frisbee golf, open fields, a pond, etc. It's a place that you could spend the entire day enjoying the day with your pup and family. read more

This is a very well-maintained Park by the city! What makes it only a 3 Star is often times are the owner's who bring their dogs! Either they just sit & chat with one another and don't pay attention to their dog or you have owners like the one encountered this morning. The guy that appears in this photo just stood there & watched his dog (also in the photo) attack mine! He made no effort to help me separate them. His wife who was over chatting with other people came over, but just sat there as well offering no help. Do us a favor, get a yard & don't come to the Park! I love this dog park compared to the Hulda Crooks dog park and the Aurentia one in Highland. This one is much more spacious and actually has green grass for my little puppy. The owners are friendly and the park is clean. There isn't much of an issue with the large dog side either. Everyone is generally courteous and manages their dog rather than let their pups run amok like other parks. There's a water tap and dog bowls around. There's also random toys scattered about. This park loses one star because of its unfinished features.. Other reviewers are correct about the lack of shade - it gets really sunny sitting in one spot .. but that hardly diminishes this dog park's appeal. I'm not TOO bothered by the odd parking lot because I'm assuming it's getting finished or something? Warning! Huge pothole at entrance area for those with lowered cars! I hope that the park can fix these two very minor things but other than that, this is a nice place to take your puppy! read more

As the owner of a small dog, I am thrilled with this park. There's plenty of space for my little guy to run around and there are several benches for those tired owners out there. The park is well-maintained and I didn't encounter any "ghetto dogs" as one person I know suggested I might. During the middle of the day the shade is lacking, that's for sure. But I went in the afternoon and the nearby pine trees cast their shadows on the park's north half. It was pleasant. There's a dirt parking lot--so what? You don't have to walk very far to get to the gate of the dog-friendly area and I can only see this being a problem for those needing special assistance or in the event of rain. My dog and I were out of towners staying at a hotel in San Bernardino. We googled nearby dog parks and came across this one. Parking was decent, the girls provided shade a sitting spots. There was a lot of direct sunlight which the locals seemed to love. There was a lot of dog poop and a lot of dirt with some grassy patches. However there was gentleman who was picking up dog poop and it looked as though it's one of his regular pastimes. The dogs seemed well behaved and the people were friendly. We went to this park today, 10/08/2023, and left extremely disappointed after having a verbal altercation with some people that claimed to be "regulars" there. We took our 3 small dogs, all under 12 pounds. When we approached the small dog area, we noticed a few people there sitting in the shaded area. They had one medium dog, and one large dog. We asked them if they could move their dogs to the large dog area because we were bringing our three very small dogs into the park. They said, don't worry about it, that their dogs would not hurt our dogs. We said we felt uncomfortable with their big dogs in the area and we were following the rules with bringing our small dogs to the small dog area. It's soon escalated into a shouting match when the people refused to move their big dogs. Another lady walked over from across the park and stated that the big dogs would not hurt our dogs and if we didn't like it, we could leave because "that's how things are done around here." I said I'm the one that's following the rules and they should move their dogs. The lady admitted that yes they weren't following the rules but again stated "that's how we do things around here" and asked us to leave if we didn't like it. Of course, there's nobody there to help enforce the rules so these "regulars" think they own the place. Go to Aurantia dog park in East Highland. It's much cleaner, the people are friendly and follow the rules. read more

I love this place. The people are super great. They clean up after their dog so quickly if they poop. They are really considerate of grabbing or correcting their dog if they are growling. Took my lil ones here a while ago. There's actual grass! Better than the hulda crooks dog park by ages and ages. Good dog owners and bad dog owners come and go in every dog park, so I can't comment on the dogs that were there. One thing though: There is absolutely NO SHADE, WHAT SO EVER. If you go in a certain time during the day, the trees almost reach the far end of the dog park where there is a bench but I guarantee you that it's gonna be full of people or people who put their shit on the bench. Bring a camping chair, and save your skin from skin cancer, or be prepared to sweat bullets and get tan. read more

Ok, I understand if there is work going on in the other park but this place is filthy! There was poo everywhere because the bag dispenser is empty and must've been for some time. City workers could at least sweep the walkways. read more

Wonderful dog park! Very clean and big. Follow the wooden signs and enter from highland- easy to find that way!! Love the water fountains and benches on the perimeter of the large grass areas. Nice to have a big dog section and little dog section. Plenty of green grass and no mud :) Refreshing that the pet owners were very friendly! read more

This is a beautiful dog park! A friend and I stumbled across this dog park early last week when we were trying to find a nearby dog park to take our dogs to, and we've been going almost everyday ever since! The closest dog park to us is the dog park in Loma Linda (by Hulda Crooks Park). But that dog park is pretty sad. It's all dirt and no dogs show up. We're so glad we found this dog park. This dog park is absolutely beautiful! It's big, clean, surrounded by trees, and it's full of grass. There are water bowls/fountains for when you and your dog get thirsty, and there are really cute benches around the park for you to sit at. There are also doggy bags and pooper scoopers for when your doggies poop. In addition, it is also nicely separated with one side being for small dogs and the other side being for big dogs. I also love the cute dedicated entrance gate! It's a true dog park. So many dogs of different breeds come here and it makes me so happy that my dog gets to socialize and be around so many other dogs! I really enjoy the environment and everyone is so kind. The dog park starts getting lively after 5:00 PM when everyone gets off work. Many people bring their dogs out to visit and play! Unfortunately the parking lot is a little small for crowded hours. But people are always coming and leaving, so it isn't impossible to find parking. I definitely recommend this dog park to everyone with doggies! read more
