It is a crazy lifesaver when it's often 80F already at 8AM and you woke up a bit too late to ensure it isn't 90F out. The owners so far have all been friendly and the dogs are more-or-less pretty well behaved and sometimes play a lot. They are a lot of dog friends! My only gripe is that it doesn't feel too clean with the sand which I imagine that after enough poop over the years, you wouldn't be able to clean it to a sanitary level regardless. However, in terms of coziness, comfort, the view, the dogs/people, ambiance of just wanting to pass time and laze, this is a great option and one of the nicer spots I've seen after visiting quite a few dog spots. A plus side that isn't guaranteed at other locations is also decent amount of street parking.

I regularly come to dog parks and I was happy to find a big dog park WITH GRASS to take my overly active husky puppy. I read the reviews abt this park having aggressive dogs so I was a little apprehensive but not worried. As we walked in their was a big white dog who was growling and staring at another dog, when my husky came in his attention immediately went to him. No big deal. They started glaring at each other and the white dog jumped on my husky and my husky didn't back down. The owners were super close by and so were we. We pulled them off each other, apologized, and the owners took the other dog home. Situation solved. We stayed at the park a while after and had a great time. Can't wait to come back & make more dog friends!

The people are nice and appear to actually clean up after their dogs! Some are talkative, others keep to themselves but the majority of people at least speak! It's such a nice atmosphere versus other parks that aren't well maintained! I'm so happy to have found a dog park where I don't have to worry about anything and can just sit and watch the dogs play! This park is nice because the splash pad and playground is tucked away behind the Community Center so it's not exposed or near the busy street. We did park in the lot in front of the community center and walk up and back towards the park area, which is not very far but a wagon or stroller are helpful if you have little ones and a lot to carry. The splash pad was in great shape and everything worked fine. The playground was also in good shape and there were a lot of fun parts to it like the fire truck, a seesaw, swings, etc. There were a good amount of covered picnic tables in between both the playground and splash pad area for parents to keep an eye on their kids at either location. I didn't visit the restrooms myself but my sister did and said they were decent. The ice cream vendors walk through every now and then and take cash or Zelle in case you want to grab a treat. I didn't get a lot of photos when we went so I will add some after our next visit
