    This was an amazing company in the beginning and thought we had found our forever groomer. Had many…read morenice chats when coming in to get the dogs. For the past month I have reached out multiple times to get appointments for our dogs because their hair was getting unruly. We tried many home remedies including the ones they recommended for brushing but it was not enough and they did need professional grooming. I reached out for 4 weeks to try to get them an appointment with this business because I really do like the work they have previously done. After a month of trying to get appointments we finally did. Great no big deal at all I was very understanding. My husband brought them at 10 am and was told they didn't have an appointment however they did. The messaged me saying it would take till 5-6. No big deal was very kind about that was well. 7 pm rolls around they still need more time. Again didn't make a fuss about it. Finally at 7:30 they call and my husband leaves. He gets there and they claimed they needed enough half hour. Again no problem he goes gets gas comes back and waits. Then an hour comes by. So I call letting them know I find it unprofessional they way they treated us this past month. The manager got very angry and said "It's free for you. Just come get your dogs" and hung up. I thought that was rude but left it be. Here's where the problem started she yelled at my husband in his car and said come get your fucking dogs, called him a pansy, and claimed we abuse our dogs. Our dogs are so loved and anyone who knows us knows that. They are spoiled rotten. After this I'll attach below the horrible messages they sent me. To add my dogs came home and were shaking, starving, and dying for water. I'm saying all of this with true sadness as we ADORED this business and wanted to continue using themWe are huge animal lovers and have never neglected, hurt, or done anything to our dogs. They are our second children. We are truly hurt by the way they treated us today. I also want to add, Remi has chronic ear infections which has been expressed to them which is why we've made clear everytime her ears have to be plucked so that we can put her daily medicine in. Without them being plucked it is harder for the medicine to reach her ears. And out of their own mouth we were told that Remi has the hardest coat to deal with for poodles and it was obvious that she was brushed and taken care of but there is matting underneath we cannot see because how hard it is to get to it. So I'm confused about the switch on how we are abusive.

I texted at 2.5 hours to inquire about how long it would be and received the message that they were running behind. At 4.5 hours I went to the shop. Two employees were at the desk and I ask the employees that if they are running behind that they text me and let me know. The employees stated they had a dog that tried to bite them. I said I understand but I just ask for the courtesy of being contacted if they are late. She said they normally ask for four hours to groom the pets. I told her he is never there for four hours, he is usually ready in 2 hours. She then told me she was going to get the owner. I told the owner, Tina Shuping, that I simply asked for the same courtesy that she requested if I'm running late or cancelling an appointment that she wants to be contacted. She charges a fee if the customer is late ( which I think is reasonable as people's time is valuable). I only request the same..: to be notified if they are behind. I understand about running behind every customer is not the same. She responded that it seemed like I "didn't care about them...pardon her if she took time to shit and piss"( her words not mine). I told her I understood but again I simply ask for the same courtesy to be notified instead of just waiting around for them to call me. She then stated if you can find someone that grooms your dog as good as I do, then use them. She then put her hands in my face and told me to leave her shop. I told her she better get her hands out of my face. She told me she was calling the police. I told her to call them. I would simply have them to pull her camera footage of how outrageous her behavior was. She asked me to leave so I did. Everyone has bad days but never on my worse day at work would I treat a customer like this. Any recommendations on groomers?

    I had a grooming apt for my two labs at the PetSmart in SALISBURY, NC. First, I had to wait 10 min…read moreto check in because they were chatting with someone. Then I overheard a staff member on the phone saying" your first apts are here" - obviously the groomer was not. Then staff asked me to move over so she could check out another person - I have been waiting patiently and was first in line. Finally, when she decided to check my dogs in she told me they wouldn't be able to bath my older dog because she was panting - dogs pant! She was laying down on the floor perfectly chill and panting- it's hot! She kept wanting me to walk the dogs around the store for a while. The manager came over and said they can't bath dogs that are panting per their policy. I told him that is absolutely ridiculous and she is always like this when we go to a different PetSmart and they have no issue with it. I asked if they could at least trim their nails- they said no. Seriously, just tell me your groomer is running late instead of lying and making up crap. I called the other PetSmart I usually go to and explained what had happened and they scheduled me a new apt with them! WOW, was that so difficult!?
