Been coming in and out of here for 10+ years, never going back! First off everybody in Scottsdale knows this is where the homeless go to sell things for a quick buck. I never sold anything to them, I just wanted to buy merchandise. The selection of stuff to buy has gone down hill every year. If you need busted tools, a firearm, a used TV or a predatory pawn loan then this place is for you. I went in today because they finally posted something I collect. So I went in expecting to spend around $200. After standing around for 10 minutes near the register with only one other person in the store, the short old lady finally came out to help. I asked her to open a case and she seemed bothered. The item was marked $5 over eBay so I asked her if she could take $5 off. Nope. Refused. This is an awesome pawn shop, a hidden gem. I stopped by to browse some items and was pleasantly surprised to find a ton of great stuff for sale. You have to park in the rear of the place and the entrance to the lot is on the North side of the building. You can't get into the lot from anywhere else. Once you get inside, the place is full of quality items. I saw a nice congo drum set, golf clubs, jewelry, and Native American jewelry. The prices are very reasonable too. Not a big fan. First off they have stopped selling semi auto rifles as a result of the shootings, that just doesn't make sense. That said u would think they would tell u that when u call to ask if u can take a loan against your semi auto. Should also mention they have flyers everywhere suggesting to call and send pics of high dollar pawn items to get an estimate yet every time they ask u to come in bc they can't provide a quote over the phone. Amazing Service!!! I pawned my laptop and iPad with them a few months back on October and from day one they were so helpful. I was told I had 90 days until they added interest which seem like a long ways away until i moved to California and before I knew it my 90 days were coming up. I didn't know what to do because I wouldn't be able to get to Arizona in time, with my work schedule and all. Thankfully, they allowed a close friend of mine who still resides in AZ go in and extend it for me. Which was very nice of them because I know the restrictions when it comes to liability and ownership. A few weeks ago I decided it was time to pay my laptop and iPad off and get it back but I didn't know how I would do it. Chad and Javier (the managers there) worked with me on it and were willing to ship it to me as long as I had proof that I was the one who pawned it. I sent over my information and sent them a little extra money for the shipping cost and they sent it out! I received it yesterday, packaged with care and no harm done. Variety was good... but also pricey, considering how they low-ball their pawners. I visited this place on 3 separate occasions to get quotes on pawning some things off. The staff was always rude and condescending, and never failed to low-ball me less than 60% of what Cash America was willing to pay me for my items. My experience here was ok. Nobody likes pawnshops. They didn't give me what I needed or what I wad asking. All pawnshops are ripoffs in my book. They literally will rob you blind if you let them. Do your best to just stay far away from these places. They are only about there selfs. Even tho it's not there money there spending. Talked with someone on Facebook about buying a PS4. We agreed on 4 games and the system for $200. They didn't disclose they were a pawn shop. I drove half an hour there and they said they could actually only do 3 games and that it would be $215 because of tax, not $200. I thought, at least when I get home I will be able to play some video games, but turns out I can't because they gave me the wrong kind of power cord.
