Two of them are brand new, and within less than a month of purchase, a diamond had already fallen out. The engagement ring my fiancé bought me has been an ongoing nightmare. We received it back once with a mismatched diamond. After finally getting that corrected Now, the same diamond that was supposedly repaired has fallen out again -- in less than a month. I also recently got my V-shaped ring back from repair, and within just a few days of picking it up, another diamond fell out of that one too. I just want to be able to wear my rings and enjoy them and not feel like I have to constantly check my hand to make sure something didn't break or go wrong. I work at a desk all day. What is going on with the quality of these rings? What's the point of owning them when they spend more time being repaired than being worn? It's beyond disappointing -- it's frustrating and exhausting. On our last visit, we were told we're basically "celebrities" because we're known for our reviews and complaints. That alone should say something. At this point, only the regional manager will deal with us. While he has been polite and I appreciate his attitude, it doesn't fix the underlying issue -- the quality and service are simply not acceptable. And although the former owner had retired and they had changed the store name to Croft and Stern Jewelry, the new owner Kelly explained that she had worked with my previous jeweler for several years and could provide the same custom design services. This was very important to me, because I am fairly particular and love special pieces for my wife to turn out just perfect. So, Kelly and I collaborated on an aquamarine ring (my wife's birthstone) offset by two small diamonds with the 3 stones, Kelly explained, signifying Past, Present and Future. And because my wife's hands are petite and because I didn't want anything that would upstage the wedding ring on her other hand, I explained I wanted the ring to be elegant but not ostentatious. In other words I wanted a sort of understated elegance. Well, Kelly worked with me every step of the way and, since we have retired to Florida, she emailed me images of the ring at every stage of the design, custom crafting the ring to incorporate any design tweaks based on my feedback and was wonderful to work with throughout the process. The bottom line is the ring turned out to be simply elegant and exactly what I wanted. Also the ring was/is to be a surprise, therefore all of the design tweaks, the payment and the shipment of the ring were handled completely discreetly. I attended one of their flea markets today, that's when other antique vendors set up outside the perimeter of the house with their own goods. On flea market days, the white house items are an extra 20% off ( excluding sale items). All sales are final. Very fun place to walk thru, reminded me of all those antique shops in the Stillwater area. There are so many little spaces to discover and dig thru. In one of the rooms they even have free coffee to sample! Free parking in the lot next to it, in addition to free street parking in downtown Anoka. All the staff were welcoming and smiling as we came thru.
