My grandson is a patient of Dr. Pawley. I accompany him on his visits occasionally. Dr. Pawley's office is very, very friendly and accommodating. They treat all of their patients as though we are friends. We are greeted by name upon arrival and informed of all that is going on. They are always quick to respond to any request immediately. I would like to readily state that their service and care for their patients is marvelous. That is really special to their clients. Getting braces for the children is a major event in their world. It is wonderful that the treatment and service is so friendly. They get an A+ for every visit. Thank you to all at the office of Jamison J Pawley, MSD, FWFO. Well, the last of my children just completed treatment with Dr. Pawley and I could not be more pleased with the absolutely amazing outcome! My son and daughter both had terrible overcrowding, with adult teeth coming on on the outside of existing teeth, overbite and a cross-bite. My daughter originally saw another "well respected" Invisalign orthodontist and he wrote an order to have a couple of her permanent molars removed. I took her to Dr. Pawley for a second opinion and he stated while he also sometimes used Invisalign, it was entirely inappropriate for my daughter's case and he strongly advised against the removal of her healthy molars. He explained he would bring her jaw forward to improve her profile, widen her arch and save all of her teeth and that's exactly what he did. The before and after pictures on both of my children are incredible! Please think of the permanence of extractions and the significant limitations of Invisalign and see Dr. Pawley for treatment or at a minimum, a second opinion. You will not find a kinder, more ethical and absolutely talented orthodontist. He's a true artist. And his staff are so sweet and professional. You will not regret it! read more

Pawley Orthodontics - Waiting room - Orthodontists Near Me - Glendora, California

I took my 10, year old to another orthodontist who wanted to do a 1st round of braces for a year to correct his overbite and then take them off and do more braces in 2 years to correct the teeth alignment. I found Dr. Pawley here on yelp and thought I'd give him a try based on reviews about his honesty. The actual office is beautiful, very professional. The ladies behind the desk were very friendly as was the one who helped with our consultation. Dr. Pawley was very kind and knowledgeable and said that too many orthodontist want to do early treatments on younger kids to make more money. He assured me my son's overbite could easily be corrected in a couple years and he won't get burned out of braces so early. I was very impressed by his knowledge and honesty at this free consultation. I will return to him when my son has all his adult teeth and is ready for braces. read more

We absolutely LOVE Dr. Pawley and his staff! 3 years went by in a blip! There was a lot involved in her journey complete with having teeth pulled or pulled down from the roof of her mouth. Lots of bands. Dr. Pawley has a periodontist right downstairs he can refer you to if the need arises in treatment and they work superb together! Dr. Pawley and his staff are so thorough I didn't have a lot of questions! Payment plans are simple and there's many ways to go about it. At least we can see them periodically for follow ups. read more

I wouldn't trust my children to any other orthodontist and I've been in the business for over 30 years and have worked with amazing 5 stars orthodontists. I would only trust him with their teeth because he is not only extremely smart and his work is beyond amazing! His amazing and friendly team is just too sweet and also go above and beyond what is expected from them just like the amazing doctor! You're lucky to have found a team like them! read more

Dr. Pawley and his staff have made me (the parent) feel great about investing in my kids teeth/smile/confidence. I have taken three of my kids to Dr. Pawley. Dr. Pawley educates the parents from the initial visit/consultation. There is no pressure to go with him if you choose not to. The professionalism of him and his staff makes me comfortable and confident that I'm doing the right thing for my kids. Each kid is different and each situation is different. My youngest has broken braces and brackets. Dr. Pawley's staff always manages to find space for us to come in and get it fixed asap. The best part is that even on days they are closed they have someone on call in case of emergencies. This is a valuable service and a piece of mind when it comes to emergencies. Dr. Pawley was recommended by my dentist (Dr. Hoyt) who also has a great reputation. When dentists around the area recommend Dr. Pawley, you definitely feel good that he is the best around Southern California. The most important thing for me is that I want my kids to have their teeth corrected the first time with no mistakes. These are the reasons why I went with Pawley Orthodontics! There are many other reasons such as the caring customer service, the ability to understand what families are going through, and the interaction w/ Dr. Pawley and the patients (my kids). We do not feel rushed and we do not feel like just a number. When my kids have questions, Dr. Pawley and his staff take their time to answer them. Five stars to his staff too! read more

Dr. Pawley and his associates are incredibly professional and personable! Every time I came into the office Dr. Pawley welcomed me with in a warm and friendly way. He did an incredible job of balancing a warm personality and a high degree of professionalism! I began treatment on June 17th, 2013 and ended treatment November 17th, 2014. Dr. Antione Sayegh, my implant specialist, recommended I visit Dr. Pawley to have my teeth straightened before receiving an implant. I've also uploaded the before, during, and after shots! Dr. Pawley is a miracle worker and his staff is the best, I was always looking forward to my dental appointments, that is how good they are. The best money that I have ever spent in my life. Overall, Dr. Pawley is AMAZING and I am bless to have found him on yelp. Go and check the office their plan of care you will not be disappointed. We have just gotten back from our first appointment with Dr. Pawley, and I definitely felt the need to leave a review. We actually chose him based on reviews here and it was a GREAT decision for us. We did have a bit of a wait, but then again, we got there quite late as I got lost finding the office. (That's on me.) However, we were greeted, treated kindly and cheerfully and when we were seen in, the assistant Karen put us right at ease. She really could not be friendlier - not "I have to do this for my job" friendly but just genuinely outgoing and interested. My son was totally comfortable right away. Dr. Pawley came in and he gave us the lowdown, after, like Karen, friendliness and putting us at ease. It seems everyone at the office is very happy to be there, it really sets things off on the right foot. We were there for a second opinion as we had been told our middle son needed an expander and braces. This was following on a whole bunch of procedures for our youngest as well that came out of the blue and we really just weren't sure and wanted someone else to take a look. So my husband went review-hunting, we saw the great reviews here for Dr. Pawley and we set up the appointment for the second opinion. Wow, what a different experience with Dr. Pawley's office. Dr. Pawley (and initially, Karen too) said it would be smarter to wait until my son's adult teeth are all in before getting braces. He can predict but won't know for certain exactly what the situation be like until that actually happens. As for the expander, my son really doesn't need it and it would only be an unnecessary additional procedure. Dr. Pawley also took a look at my other son's teeth even though we had no appointment. (I had brought up the subject of this son's expander.) Dr. Pawley saw no reason not to as we were already there and it was a simple matter of filling out a quick sheet of paperwork for my second son too. He actually adjusted my second son's retainer. No muss, no fuss, no extra appointment, no charge and my littlest son is now so much more comfortable. I absolutely would recommend this office - can't say enough about our experience, which so far has been wonderful. I am just so happy and relieved to have gotten a second opinion and that it happened to be an office that, from all indications so far, anyway, is pure gold. We are switching over to this office. Thank you, Dr. Pawley and Karen! read more

Dr. Pawley and his team have taken care of all 4 of our children and the results have been amazing. 3 perfect smiles free from braces and 1 more almost done! We have chosen to drive a long way to see Dr. P all these years and it has been well worth it!! We cannot thank him and his amazing staff enough! Dr. Pawley is unique - an absolute expert who embraces new procedures and technology combined with a great personality and ethics. He has carefully chosen his team to exhibit the same qualities and the experience is wonderful because of it. read more

I was referred to Dr. Pawley a few years back. I came in for a free consultation where the whole process was explained to me in clear terms. Shortly after I had my braces put on. After having my braces removed about 2 years later, I was extremely pleased with the results. I used to have a crooked smile due to my bite which I was self-continuous about and he aligned it perfectly! I found his entire staff to be very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Pawley for your orthodontic needs. I've been saying for awhile he is the "Nordstrom" of orthodontics. As you may know, Nordstrom stores pride themselves on excellent service and high quality goods. read more

If I could give Pawley & Okamoto Orthodontics more than 5 stars, I would!!! I had an absolutely phenomenal experience there. I got my braces off about 2-3 months ago. I could not be happier with how my teeth came out. Steven L. must have some kind of hidden agenda against Dr. Pawley for some strange reason. He's obviously in the minority with his negativity. Is this the cheapest place around? Maybe not. But just like the saying goes...you get what you pay for! I had no interest in getting a "bargain" for my ortho treatment. After all, dental health greatly affects your overall health and it is an investment that lasts a lifetime. Having said that, I thought the cost was very reasonable and I never, ever felt pressured. My favorite thing about Pawley & Okamoto Ortho was the friendly, professional staff. Those girls work so hard and make you feel like you're a part of the family. I loved going there for appointments, they all always put me in a good mood. In fact, when my treatment was over, I was sad I wouldn't get to see all of them on a regular basis. The quality of treatment is top-notch!! That is not just my opinion, it is a fact. I got a permanent retainer and my dental hygienist (who works at a different office) commented on what an outstanding job they did (and always do) with their permanent retainers, compared to others who do a sloppy job. As long as you wear your rubberbands during treatment and the retainer when you are done, you will not be disappointed with the treatment you get from this professional and friendly group of people. read more

I am 53 years of age and visited this orthodontics center over 2 years ago and just had my braces removed. My primary doctor was Dr. Pawley. I had a severe cross-bite and more. Not a pretty picture. While it's never fun to have braces, somehow this office makes it just a bit more fun. Dr. Pawley is good humored and always upbeat. His staff is outstanding, friendly and professional. Guess who benefits from a happy work environment? We do! My smile is perfect, for the first time in my life. I highly recommend a visit to Drs. Okamoto and Pawley! read more

Here it is, I got my braces on in June of 2015. I got them off December of 2017(Second best day of my life)!!. Let me just say that it was the BEST experience I've ever had, and that I would recommend him to anyone and everyone I know. Every single person in that office is amazing. Dr Pawley, he is the most compassionate and caring doctor I've ever dealt with. He LOVES his job and you can tell from the second you meet him. He is a PERFECTIONIST! My teeth were a hot mess and he left me with a beautiful, straight, literally perfect smile. He fixed my bite, the center alignment of my teeth to my face, my jaw, and everything in between! I'll never forget when I slacked with something he asked me to do and he gave me so much attitude I was scared! (In a good way) He reminded me why I'm there and how it's all up to me to make it happen. I could probably go on forever about my experience! The thing that made me choose Dr Pawley from day 1, was this...he said to me "Any dr can straighten your teeth, but not every dr will perfect your smile." That was it, all I needed to look no further. You pay for what you get and Pawley Ortho is worth EVERY penny!! read more

Pawley Orthodontics - My beautiful straight teeth the day I got my braces off! Dec 18, 2017 - Orthodontists Near Me - Glendora, California

I'm sixty years old now but two and half years ago I decided to make my dental health a priority. Dr. James Pawley and his staff came highly recommended so I've held my applause till the end. I wouldn't usually give recommendations for such a personal and important decision like dental health but in this case I'll make an exception. The truth is the process of wearing and dealing with braces in your mouth was not easy but Dr. Pawley and staff there have always made it a positive experience. The results are fantastic and the free follow up appointments shows they care. A clean and updated lab and friendly environment for all ages. I highly recommend you visit the office and see for yourself. read more

I was referred to Dr. Pawley by my sister. I did not want to drive all the way to Glendora from Alhambra for an Orthodontist. But I have to say that Dr. Pawley and his amazing staff are worth every minute I spend in the car!!! He is a wonderful , honest, and knowledgeable practitioner. This office is the gold standard of orthodontics! Best part is he saved me $2,500 and 4 teeth that another doctor wanted to pull out in order to give me my straight smile! Dr. Pawley said I could keep those teeth and still have a straight smile, and he was right! Love this Doctor and his wonderful staff!!! read more

Dr. Pawley and his office staff are friendly, professional and always make you feel special when you come in. It's so nice to go to someone where you don't feel like a number. Another orthodontist we consulted wanted to take out 4 permanent teeth to create space and then just cram them all together. Dr. Pawley explained that in rare cases that's necessary but it's the easy way out! Doing this can create a flat smile and doesn't consider how a child's face matures over time. I'm so glad, and so is my son, that we didn't remove his teeth and thanks to Dr. Pawley he has a beautiful smile to serve him his whole life. read more

Okay, a great review of Dr. Pawley could just be about my straight teeth and killer smile!!! :) But, there's so much more... Dr. Pawley is really fun and you can tell he totally knows his stuff.
