I went back for the severe pain still after a week and the dentist sent me to the specialist who wanted to charge me $6,000 for a whole surgery to fix the work City Dental did! I let City Dental know and the dentist said, "Oh! Well let me try to root canal them again." The pain after treatment here sent me to multiple specialists who all said the same thing, "Whoever did this to you did subpar work and used cheap materials." I am very sad because I loved going there but one by one I AM LOOSING the TEETH THAT WERE TREATED HERE. Dr. Sam, you are amazing but please supervise your dentists to check their ethic, work practice, and integrity in providing long lasting teeth and service PLEASE! While I was holding my tender cheek I looked through yelp to see which one could accept me as an emergency visit and with no dental insurance. I was in pain but not ready to brake the bank! I came here and was blown away by the homey feel and the amazing christmas decorations I love the holidays and seeing this made my forget the pain (but just for a minute) I was able to come in and get an emergency xray(just $40 in the affected area) they gave a cute chapstick to take home and they gave me the best mews that they were able to take me in that same day! The doctor was the best. She was so sweet provided me with the care I needed to feel comfortable and safe. She gave me 2 squishy heart stress balls to hold if I was in pain and they were an indicator if I was in too much pain to provide me with more anesthesia, and boy did I need it! After it was all done I was tender and numb but I was so happy ! Finally this tooth is gone and I can think of all the tasty foods I'll have next week for Thanksgiving ! BEWARE OF OVERPRICED AND DECEPTIVE BILLING…read more I recently went to the office to get orthodontic treatments. Everyone in the office is lovely and I can't say anything bad about them. I went in for ONE appointment to get an imprint of my teeth and then was waiting for my follow up appointment for my trays. While waiting for the trays, a family emergency occurred. I called the office 2 weeks after the impressions were taken to advise them I needed to cancel my treatment as I was about to taken on additional financial obligations and would no longer be able to move forward with my planned treatment. The lady of the phone was very nice and told me she would get it handled. Well a month later I get a phone call because the finance company was still expecting payment from me. I told them that I had told the orthodontist that I was canceling my treatment a month prior; the advised they had not heard a peep from the clinic. The clinic then called me the next day to try and negotiate with me to not cancel my treatment and told me that I would be charged 40% of the cost of the entire treatment plan if I did cancel. This is when I knew I was being overcharged. They offered me $900 off to continue the treatment. I kept telling them that I just could not financially do it at this time. They then said that they would charge me the 40%. I asked again why so much (my treatment plan was supposed to last 3 years and again I went to one appointment and only had the trays made) and I was told that was for the services that were already rendered. When I asked if I could get a breakdown of my services, the gentleman over the phone refused and said he could not provide me that. I asked if I could have the trays I'm being charged for and he said no. Mind you, the refusal to provide me a breakdown of my services is a direct violation of the HIPAA Privacy Rule which includes my right to bill and payment records. They have something to hide and it's obviously that most people don't understand their rights and even fewer understand what the cost of orthodontic services should be. They don't want me to see that there is no justification to have been charged 40% of anything because they haven't provided that dollar amount in services. I will be escalating this matter and I hope that this post helps someone ask more questions up front and possibly avoid this place altogether.

I got to my appointment on time and they had me wait nearly 3 hours on a hard chair. Yes 3 hours! They said they had an emergency however I could see the people they were treating were just old friends because I could hear their entire conversation and laughter. So, of course I get upset and Trudy had the nerve to "refuse service" on me. I was like umm you're not the dentist! So the nicer dentist came out and finally saw me and gave me a cleaning. I explained I have about $1,400 to use in insurance money before the year ends so I expressed I wanted implants. They said they had to submit a claim and blah blah blah ok whatever. I call back in a month and they haven't heard anything. I call again and they still haven't heard nor have they even considered calling me weekly to update me as they had promised. I call MetLife and it turns out they never filed anything! All they did was charge my insurance $600 for a deep cleaning when I got a 5 minute regular cleaning I could have done better myself! They also charged me for the xrays they said would be free since they had me waste my whole afternoon. Not to mention, since I have PPO insurance they don't even need a claim to be approved from MetLife. I call up Trudy and she says I told her that I didn't want anything done after all. Wow what a liar! I'm filing a formal complaint and grievance now. So sad that this person rather get her boss in so much trouble for insurance fraud because she is so immature and petty. Please save your time and money and do not come here. The place smells like sewage as well and to be honest I felt sick after my cleaning which leads me to believe they have bad water.
