Yelp Elite Review: A Dental Visit Worth Raving About | 10/10 | Highly Recommend…read more Let me start by saying I've avoided the dentist for years since high school, because of some not-so-great experiences growing up. The anxiety was almost debilitating, but I decided to bite the gun, afterall my son had seen the dentist more in his young life as I have in about 10 years. So walking into a dental office again wasn't just a routine errand, it was a major mental hurdle. But Azusa Total Dental Care changed everything I thought I knew about dental visits. From the moment I called to schedule an appointment, the experience was seamless and kind. The front desk was warm, helpful, and patient, absolutely friendly no rushed or cold energy here. Appointment confirmation and registration were super straightforward, and I felt genuinely welcomed before I even stepped into the office. Office was nice, clean, looked very new and welcoming, I loved the little details like the tooth pot plants and the glass window decor. Now, onto the real stars of the show: the dentist and assistant. I honestly don't have enough glowing adjectives for them. Kind. Gentle. Compassionate. Attentive. You name it. They made me feel comfortable and respected, which is something I never expected to feel in a dental chair. Once I was checked in, they took a panoramic image of my teeth and followed up with detailed X-rays in the areas that needed attention. But what impressed me most was the way they explained everything. Not just vague summaries, but actual photos, clear visuals, and a thorough, judgment-free breakdown of what was going on with my oral health. They mapped out a game plan to get my teeth back to baseline and answered every single question I had along the way. Did I mention I had my 1.5-year-old with me the entire appointment? Yup, screaming, fidgeting, a full blown tantrum in the middle of the office, doing all the things toddlers do best. And the staff never flinched, and I was able to get up to check on him with ease. They made us feel completely welcome and at ease, offering to make balloon gloves, asking about my son, and just being real people who care. Even though my next few visits will be more involved (and toddler-free), I'm actually looking forward to going back. I didn't think I'd ever say that about a dentist. My past fear has been completely replaced by trust and appreciation. This is what healthcare should feel like, supportive, transparent, and focused on building you up, not tearing you down. I've already told my family, friends, and everyone who will listen: Azusa Total Dental Care is the only place I trust now. If you're overdue for dental work, feeling anxious, or just want a place that's warm, professional, and patient-centered. Book the appointment. You'll be so glad you did. -Busy mom, first-time-in-years dental patient, and forever grateful client

If you value your teeth stay away from this place. I came to…read morethis office because a friend referred me here. I was told by Dr. Such that I needed a root canal and a crown. He spent over 2 hours performing the root canal then sent me home without a temporary crown just grinded down to a Lil stub, oh and BTW he didn't even take an impression(mold) of my tooth. When I asked him about the temporary crown he said I was fine like that. Then when I returned for my next visit (a week and a half later) he told me that I had to be referred out to the specialist. Are you serious?? He knew that the day I left why would you make me waste my time coming back. I went to the specialist which by the way he was amazing (well considering the situation) came back and again so the dr. Can finish the crown. When he gave me the crown the crown was awful it hardly had any shape, it literally looked like a fat tooth. I dashed out of there and before I could leave the dr. Had me signed that he delivered the crown I was ok with it. This was a little over a year ago. I switched dentists after this 3 months ago my crown popped out, and I went to my dentist to glue it back and he told me the crown was placed too high that's why it's popped out. Then another month later I cracked my crown eating seaweed and sesame seeds. This is gotta be the worst quality crown in the history of dentistry!! I have only had this crown a little over a year and this is what happened. I wish someone would have told me this before the work was done but unfortunately my friend told me too late that he hasn't visited this dentist in over a year. Well now you know stay away from his place look at the pics attached if you would like.
