THIS REVIEW IS FOR CINDYS PET GROOMING. Cindy works through pawgo. My poor old 17 year old dog hasn't had a bath in a long time. I saw Cindy bathing another dog in her mobile van in my neighborhood and thought I would give her a try. Well, I am very very happy to have found her. She comes with her daughter and sometimes her little son and they are such pleasant people and nice to be around. She was extremely gentle with Joey. He was barking so loud and was so upset that she spent about 10 minutes just caressing him and talking to him to calm him down. Don't get me wrong, he still barked!! I think he was telling all the dogs in the neighborhood that he was being tortured! But she managed to give him a nice bath, and trim his fur and nails. She was just so good. I am so happy. Vanessa was absolutely terrible. She text me last Tuesday to set up appointment for Friday initially. Then in Thursday changed it to Monday morning. I couldn't do it Monday so I rescheduled for Tuesday at 9am. She text me at 830am letting me know she's changing the appointment to 930am because of stuff that SHE had to do for the job. Okay? Cool no problem. 9:30am she's still not here. And I'm walking my dog because I'm thinking she's about to pull up. She doesn't say anything til 945. Then she says she's on the hill. What the hell is the hill??? It's not a street name or anything. Finally when she responds she is on a street that is blocked off that I would have to go all the way around. She never moves her truck to come to my home. And then I call her twice. To see what's going on because now it's 10am and she's not saying anything. But had the audacity to say I'm hostile??? I scheduled my appt for the grooming of my 2 dogs online with this company. Gabriel arrived an hour late. Ten minutes after he took my 16-yr old lab he returned her soaking wet to say he couldn't groom her because she kept trying to jump off the table. M y lab can barely walk, let alone attempt to jump. When I was walking out my second dog, he took off. He got in his van and took off. The incompetence and unprofessionalism was astounding. Even tried to book myself online to see what was going on. I don't show up. I was charged miles on a van that they confirmed was used by someone else and will not be getting my money back. This people are very inconsiderate. Our kids were playing outdoors and they found it natural to let all the fur of the dog they were grooming fly towards us. They were aware that we were recording them and were physically upset about the situation, but carried on anyway. Luckily one of our neighbors let the owner of the dog know the inconvenience and we're hoping they take this into consideration to at least set up a net or something to prevent the fur going into other people's yard. I had used this service for two of my three dogs for years, but something has changed dramatically. Twice in the last two months I've made appointments that were canceled day of (an hour or two before). The first was done with no notice at all so I waited from 11:15-1:30 (they give you a two hour window plus or minus 30 minutes for their arrival). I emailed/texted/tried to call (there is no live person to get a hold of). The next day, I was told that my appointment had been canceled on the website, which was ridiculous because they have my number and could've texted me. I made a second appointment with another groomer who I've used in the past, Isabel. She had previously been reliable and great. My appointment was for 9 AM. At 8 AM. I got a weird text asking me if I would like to cancel my appointment and asking me to text back yes or no. Clearly this was just an automated text. I replied no. Then, because of what happened last time, I went on The website and saw my appointment had been canceled. I also got an email this time telling me my appointment had been canceled. Again, same day with no explanation. If you were looking for somebody reliable to show up, do not use this company. The third time, I booked the same groomer who was an hour late, and they showed up two hours late. When I complained over the phone to Pawgo, they chided me for booking the tardy groomer. Because I'm dumb and stupid, I tried using Pawgo a fourth time but made sure to avoid booking the groomer who was late twice. Without notifying me, Pawgo cancelled my groomer and rebooked me with the groomer who doesn't have a watch or know how to keep a schedule. Don't use this company.
