When life experiences and consequences left me in a wheelchair, I was lost. Couldn't walk my dogs…read moreanymore and felt helpless, certain life's normal abilities where hard. I needed a dog walker and that's when I found Absolute Pet Care, owner Renae. I was worried about finding somebody whom I could absolutely trust with my two boys. Renae was my first call in my last call, from our conversation and meeting - I knew I had the best person for the job, I hired her that day. About Renae ? she is very reliable, honest and trustworthy. My boys who are pretty active and can be difficult to control, absolutely love her, she has been great! Not only with my dogs, but she is very caring about my personal situation.Simply saying - we don't know where I''d be without her, not only has she has become a part of the family and the best part of our day is when she comes to take my boys for a Good, Safe Walk. I honestly believe you will be very happy with her services, and I'm taking this time to thank her for everything - Renae you're Awesome!!!

She took care of my rabbit, two cats and a bird for a week and sent me pictures and updates of them everyday. When I came home they acted like I had never left! She charged me a flat fee per house visit. Amazingly affordable compared to other services or boarding. And best of all you can tell she loves what she does. Can't recommend Renee and her team enough!

After having an awful experience at The Barking Dog boarding facility, I decided to try Applewood…read morePet Resort--and I'm so glad I did. I visited the facility ahead of my dogs' stay and was greeted right away. The staff gave me a full tour, showing the different room options and both the indoor and outdoor play areas. I also noticed there were a lot of employees present during my visit, which gave me peace of mind knowing the dogs are well cared for. They even suggested bringing my dogs in for day camp before their stay, which I really appreciated. I dropped them off for a few hours, and that helped me feel even more confident moving forward. I booked a 3-night stay and received updates when I called to check in, which I loved. When I picked them up, I was greeted immediately again, and the staff was just as friendly as before. Most importantly, my dogs seemed happy--and that means everything. I'll definitely be using Applewood Pet Resort for all my future boarding needs

This is my first-ever review because I felt strongly enough about our experience to share it…read more We paid $200 for our two dogs to be groomed and spend the day swimming and playing with other dogs. We were really excited about the concept and wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. Right from drop-off, something felt off. As first-time customers, we explained how we wanted our dogs groomed, and the staff simply took their leashes without much interaction with us or our dogs. The employees didn't seem particularly warm or enthusiastic about the animals, which immediately made us uneasy. We had planned to leave our dogs there from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. because we were told they would have playtime and then be groomed after the second play session around 1 p.m., with grooming taking another 2-4 hours. However, when we called to check on them, we were told they were already finished by 1 p.m., which didn't align with the timeline we had been given. When we picked them up around 1:30 p.m., we paid, were handed our dogs, and left. There was absolutely no update about how their day went, how they behaved, whether they enjoyed themselves, or anything at all. It felt very transactional, especially for first-time clients. Because we were confused, we called after getting home to ask how they did. The response was simply, "They did good." We then asked whether they had gotten to play with other dogs or swim in the pool, and the employee replied, "I'm not sure." That answer was honestly shocking. The entire reason we chose this place was because of the advertised playtime and swimming experience. We left with the impression that our dogs may have simply been kenneled, groomed, and then returned to their kennels. There were no photos, no report card, no communication, and no reassurance that our dogs experienced what we paid for. We feel completely misled and are extremely disappointed that we chose Applewood. The reason I'm giving even a star is because the grooming itself was decent. Their coats are soft, and their paws look good. For anyone looking for grooming, I highly recommend Sparkle. They do an amazing job, our dogs always smell and feel incredible afterward, and it's half the price. If you're looking for daycare and boarding, Pet Paradise in the North Valley is amazing. The staff truly love the animals like their own and provide photos, cameras, and daily report cards. Unfortunately, we won't be returning. For anyone considering bringing their pets here, I would strongly encourage you to read the other reviews and think twice before spending your money. We left feeling uneasy and disappointed, with more questions than answers about how our dogs spent their day. For the sake of your pet, I would recommend choosing a place that provides transparency, communication, and genuinely makes you feel like your dog was cared for and loved.
