Been going here for years now and stopped for a while but recently started taking my dog Hazel back. They always groom her so nice and handle her aggressive tendencies very well since she doesn't like her feet being touched. But she always comes out so fresh and clean!!

My dog is a rescue who's scared of everyone and everything, but he's gone twice for grooming at Paw House and does so well! They are friendly, kind, and do an amazing job getting him clean. Each time I've called they've been so considerate of his needs and fit him in quickly. This time he seemed more relaxed than last time, they were able to trim his nails, and he smells and looks incredible. We'll continue coming here and recommending them.

Updating my dog has never overcome the fear this place instilled in him . He now has to be sedated at a vet to get groomed . Grooming has become such a stressful experience for him because of his location. Please take your fur babies anywhere else

I absolutely love Sara and her business. I brought my dogs here for a while now. I even drive out of my way to bring my babies. When I had an older dog, it was hard to take him somewhere new. They managed his blindness and his older age very well. I knew he was always in good hands. I did notice she's gotten busier through the years, which is awesome. I want to see her business thrive. So now, I make sure to make appointments. read more

Coming here for years All of a sudden my 6 pound dog gets a 30% price increase because his presently difficult to cut now. Make sure you settle on a price before hand or Additional cost may be added ,a very deceiving business practice . It was nice they took walk ins, but there bias pricing has made us take my pet somewhere else. read more

Long overdue review but I would regularly bring my dog here for several years for grooming but he would come home with fleas! Plus they increased their prices so we found another local groomers and have been happy with them since (plus no fleas). read more

I love paw house! I've been coming here for years. I usually come twice a year and they never disappoint. Service is great. They open at 9, so if you go then they finish in about 3 hours. They call right away if they encounter an issue. They ask if you want any extra services and what the charge is before you leave so there's no surprises when you pick your pup up. They accept Venmo and Zelle which is very convenient! Highly recommend! read more

My mom told me about this place as she takes her Jindo breed here for his grooming. I'm glad I came to Paw House for my 6 lb maltipoo pup that got his very first professional grooming experience here. I already took him here twice and both experiences were good. He did the full grooming haircut which came out to be $50, which is VERY cheap compared to NYC grooming prices. The only thing complaint is the pick up time. I always made reservations at a certain time, dropped him off at that time, but the pick-up time always varied; sometimes it can take 2 hours or 4 hours. I had to call several times to confirm the pick-up time which had me on stand-by. read more

Sara, her children, and staff at Paw House have been great to our Pomeranian Bella since they first groomed her when she was only a few months old to now. She gets groomed a couple times a month and they are always friendly and professional, and most importantly careful and caring towards Bella. She looks so cute with a little bow in her hair and is always on point, very happy when we pick her up. They are reasonably priced and offer several add-on services like teeth brushing and flea dips. read more

Normally I take my dogs to PetSmart for their grooming services which are pretty expensive. But a few months back I brought my neices dog here and he came back looking new! Not to mention it was much cheaper and they offer a discount on more than one dog. So thought you know what, 2 of my dogs really need a good grooming, one grows hair quickly and she hurt her back leg so her nails haven't been grinding, when she goes in the backyard to pee, as hard to cut down. Well I brought them in and asked them to also brush their teeth. It was $45 to $50 per dog with a discount on the second dog and an extra $5 each for teeth brushing. When I picked them up, one of my dogs looked soooo young, honestly she was like a new fat 12 year old puppy and it was only $85 for both! They even put a bow in her hair and made her all fluffy. She looked so damn gorgeous! And my other dog has short hair so she looked the same, but smelled clean and had a bandanna. Yes their nails were cut and they smelled great. Both dogs were happy and serviced with their spa day in under 2 hours. I didn't even have to make an appointment, I just called and they said bring them whenever. I couldn't believe how great they did for all 3 dogs so far. They definitely have a new customer who will be repeating business. read more

If I could leave this place ZERO or NEGATIVE stars I would!! I only went here because they were the only ones open and take walk ins. When the lady asked how I wanted his cut I told her just trim him up not super short then she suggested the summer cut (which I know is super short) and I said no that's too short and she said okay I'll take care of him. She also let me know if he was trouble there would be an extra fee. When I came back I was appalled with how they cut his hair not only was it NOT what I asked for they had told me I needed to hold him down to cut his nails which took three of us !!! I've never felt so bad for my baby until I picked him up from that place...and to top it all off I think he came back with fleas because he's never itched nor have I or my wife been itchy when he's in the bed however since he's come back from that place he's been itching and so have we there's bumps on us!! I will never ever send my pet here ever again I STRONGLY recommend to STAY AWAY !!! read more

My dog has been coming here for months. Today they tell me their prices have increased-no surprise as everything has increased. Then when I picked my pet up they said that the groomer needed help when trimming his nails, so next time if they have to get help there will be an additional charge of $10. I always generously tip, I don't dispute the price increase and now they want to charge me more because the groomer couldn't handle my 10 lbs dog? Bye Felicia. read more

I have been looking for a place that does the Korean Teddy Bear Puppy Cut for a long, long time. I called this place and they assured me they knew the cut and could do it effectively. They're Koreans so I figured, yes, if anyone knew the assignment and could execute it, it would be them. No! Nope! Not at all. I came to get my dog and wanted to see her right away. The lady wanted me to pay first. First red flag. I pay but before I tip I ask to see my dog. She brings her out to me and she's shaved down to where I can see the pink under her Snow White hair, even on the paws and legs. I ask what happened to my dog receiving the Korean Teddy Bear puppy cut and she tells me this is the summer version of that. Wait what this is not what I asked for. They also cut my dogs hair in her ponytail which we are trying to grow out as well as her bangs. Now it's back to her old groomer. They don't know how to do the K-Teddy Bear cut either but at least they don't cut her ponytail or bangs. read more

Zero starts if I could. My poor baby has been coming here since he was 3 months. When we do the hygienic grooming, he is fine. Yesterday, I took him for a full grooming and they hurt his private area. He's crying and whining so much. He hasn't been himself and laying all day and doesn't want to go for walks. He's in so much pain, and it breaks my heart. They cut hair very choppy. Only good thing about this place is they take dogs the same day. I would rather book in advance and go elsewhere. In addition, they charge 10 dollars if you dog moves while cutting hair. This time my dog was shaking before going inside and after. NEVER AGAIN. Beware of this place and go at your own risk. Would much rather go to oc pawtastic grooming where they are gentle to your fur baby and through. read more

Haven't groomed my little yorkie in over a year due to her stress and anxiety for strangers, especially groomers. However, she desperately needed a cut for it was long overdue. I was recommended to this place from a friend who had similar issues with her pet and I'm so glad I now found a place to get my pet groomed on a regular basis. Frightened at first, the groomer gently calmed my dog down and the end result was a total transformation. I only wish I could have done it sooner. He does an incredible job getting their undercoats out so they shed much less at home. Our dogs always come back looking and smelling great, and it's clear he truly cares about them. They get excited to see him, which says everything! On top of that, he's just an all-around wonderful person. Just this morning during the storm, the wind blew our back fence open and our dogs got out while we were away at work. We live directly across the street from the groomer, and he happened to see them from his front window. He immediately hurried across the street and helped get them safely back into our yard. I don't even want to think about what could have happened if he hadn't been there. If you're looking for a trustworthy, experienced dog groomer who truly cares about the dogs he works with, I cannot recommend him enough. We are so grateful for him and the care he gives our dogs. After about 11 months of bringing my pomapoo here, I've decided I won't be returning…read more I'll start with my most recent visit. I brought my dog in over Easter weekend, and because I was injured, I wasn't able to fully brush her out beforehand like I usually do. She's a Pomeranian with thick fur, and while she did have some matting in typical areas, it was not severe. I've worked in a veterinary setting, so I'm familiar with what's manageable. When my husband dropped her off, he was told they wouldn't be able to achieve the usual teddy bear cut and suggested shaving her down instead. What wasn't communicated clearly was just how short that would be. When I picked her up, she was shaved extremely close, far beyond what I expected, and it was honestly shocking. She looked nothing like herself. This isn't the first issue. On a previous visit, she was cut so short that she developed irritation and a rash, and her tail was left uneven to the point that I had to trim it myself after it got soiled immediately. I've also since heard from friends and family (that I referred) who've had similar experiences, especially during busy weekends or holidays. It seems like overbooking may lead to rushed grooms and defaulting to shaving dogs down rather than working through coats more carefully. I also want to note that vaccination status was never asked about, which initially made this place convenient for me at the time, but in hindsight, that's not something I'm comfortable with. I've communicated before that I don't want my dog shaved down this short, and I just don't feel that preference has been respected or clearly discussed. Between the inconsistent results, lack of communication, and overall experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere moving forward

My dog is a large doodle -- not some unusually massive or rare breed -- and I had already made that clear over the phone. It's extremely frustrating to confirm pricing beforehand, see the same price advertised in the shop, and then be charged significantly more afterward with no real explanation. If the price depends on size, that should be clearly communicated upfront, especially when a customer takes the time to ask beforehand. This felt misleading and unprofessional. I left feeling like the pricing was not transparent and that my concerns were dismissed when I brought them up. Because of this experience, I will not be returning.

My boss recommended Tip to Tail, and I am so grateful she did. Today was our third visit, and every time they have been friendly and made me feel completely safe leaving him in their care. They also keep great notes on his grooming, so they remember exactly how I like his cut which takes a lot of stress off both of us. I dropped him off around 8:30 and got the call to pick him up a little after 2. It is a longer wait than what I am used to, but the level of care is worth it. Chopper came back looking adorable, and his coat was extra soft and shiny which I really appreciated. Tip to Tail has been a lifesaver for my anxious pup, and I am thankful for the care they put into every visit.

I called 2 times to make sure that this establishment was certified to clip cats nails and groom a cat. I called to make an appointment and the women asked if the cat was a good cat. I said yes, she is but she has never been groomed or had her nails clipped. My cat is a maine coon cat "the gentle giant". She has never scratched anyone to include my grandsons or ever bit anyone. She rolls over and meows so that you will pet her. Everyone always comments on how sweet she is!! My husband took her in on Monday for her visit. They said they would call when they were done. He received a call a half hour later from a women that could hardly speak English stating "pick up cat, she very bad cat!" He picked up our kitty that was in her carrier, very frightened. When he got her home she still had a choke collar on that they must have put on and her face/jaw area were very swollen and her teeth were missing and one tooth is imbedded in her jaw. I am going to file a complaint against this horrible establishment. They definately do not know what they are doing. They should never be allowed to handle any animal. My year old cat is in so much pain and it saddens me that we allowed these people to do this to her. read more

My maltipoo's haircut came out really well all the time when I come here! My dog is crazy, and her fur always gets tangled, but the problem fixed when I came here. When she was done with her appointment, they put a little bow above the ear each time for free!!! She's always coming out of that shop looking fabulous, I HIGHLY recommend this place. My dog is a bit sensitive when it comes to going to grooming places, but not this one! The employees are really respectful and kind, which I'm grateful for as a person who isn't good at socializing. I've been coming here for a long time--I have two dogs--and when I drop them off in the morning, I can usually pick them both up about 3 to 4 hours later. It's conveniently located right in the neighborhood, the interior is clean, and although I've tried other grooming places, I feel that this one offers the best quality of work. read more

This is by far the best grooming shop I've ever been to! My dog's hair loss has improved a lot, and every time we come back from grooming here, he's always in such a good mood. Everyone is so kind, explains everything really well, and I can truly trust them with my dog. read more
