History
Established in 2024.
WildHeart Pet Haven began with rescue work — trapping ferals, helping strays, and finding lost indoor cats. That experience led me into veterinary assisting, where I supported large dogs, reactive animals, and pets with medical or behavioral needs. I learned how trauma shows up in animals, how to read body language, and how to create safety for even the most sensitive pets.
I started this business because many pets need more than basic sitting. They need someone who understands fear, stress, medication routines, nutrition, and wellness. Today I offer trauma-informed pet sitting, behavioral support, medical assistance, and rescue help with a calm, intuitive approach. My mission is simple: provide every animal with compassion, safety, and the kind of care that helps them feel truly at home.
Meet the Business Owner: Elyse B.
My name is Elyse, and caring for animals is the center of my life. I’ve spent years rescuing large breed dogs, feral and abandoned cats, rehabilitating scared animals, and supporting pets with medical or behavioral needs. This work changed me — it showed me how deeply animals feel, how much trauma they carry, and how much healing they deserve.
I started WildHeart Pet Haven because I believe animals need more than basic care. They need someone who understands fear, stress, routine, nutrition, and the subtle ways animals communicate. I bring a trauma-informed, intuitive, and holistic approach to every animal I care for, whether I’m administering medication, supporting a shy rescue, or giving comfort to a senior pet.
This isn’t just a business for me — it’s the work I’m meant to do. Every animal I help is part of my purpose. And every home I step into becomes a safe haven for your pet while you’re away.
