Front of grocery market.

Came here recently to grab some various products but mainly different types of cheese. As the pictures show, there's quite a variety here. Not sure if it's because this Pavilion is managed well or because it's in a good area, but the workers here usually seem to be in good moods. And while there was no one person in particular who helped me, the process to get in and out was fairly quick given that this was a Friday in Los Angeles, and right at rush hour. Grabed my various cheeses as well as a few custom cut meats. It's always interesting to see the various signage in verbiage that the different groceries use to try to grab and keep your attention right? In any case, it to conclude, you can get in and out fairly quickly here and again the vibrations are for the most part positive.

LOVE their bakery department. I've purchased several cakes that were already made from their case, when needing a last minute birthday dessert, and they're always delicious. One of the rare bakeries I could find with a tiramisu cake (not just a slab in a tray), so I could deliver on a friend's fave. Recently I ordered a customized cake and they were so helpful, friendly, and artistic! I noticed a graduation cake online that they offered, but in the store one of their bakers had experimented with a new design, and it was gorgeous! Requested her new design with custom colors, and they did a great job executing! Wish I caught her name so I could compliment here in this review! Always a great selection!

Broccolini, pre-packaged, $4.99 really fresh

I really enjoy coming to this grocery store, you can find a lot of food sections here that you don't see in other stores like Ralphs or Vons. For example, they have a wine and alcohol section that is so large, it is almost like a mini store! They also carry Boar's Head meat and cheese here which is always delightful to amp up sandwiches. They have a cute little section in the vegetables that has multiple mushrooms I have never seen before. My recent favorite find is broccolini, pre-packaged, in very great condition! As far as the service, I have had really great service by the meat section (they also have A LOT of seafood options too), even close to closing time!

Bad rotten beef and Mac & cheese

Omg I would give this place no stars if I could. The staff are so rude & judgmental & they act like they are above all of us because they wear a name tag. Anyway the selection of food is so bad like half of the things from the deli & meat department are either rotting or getting really close to go bad, also the selection of stuff here are just really badly chosen to fry and sell if that makes sense. Everytime I buy something here I almost immediately have to take it back to try to get a refund which they try to make you not ask for a manager to take the stuff back. Also the inside and outside of the building is older and kinda smells like piss towards the back, I'm never shopping here again & I hope you do the same, also here are some pics of the nasty food That I'm gotten here in the past

Way toooo busy scrolling on their phone to acknowledge actual customers in the building.

Just used self check out at Pavilions in Marina Del Rey. Person in this picture was WAY to busy on their phone to even look up when I asked for a bag. I said "thank you" and again, WAY to busy on their phone to respond. Super HORRIBLE customer service. If not on the clock then don't be sitting next to the bags. If you are On the clock perhaps put your phone away. . Saw another patron doing self Service and that person also had to go up to this person and ask for a bag as well. No acknowledgement of that person either. If you are too busy to work because you have Phone scrolling that urgently needs to be done.....GO HOME.

I purchased fresh rolls but they only have the Krispy Kreme bags and I didn't realize the bag has a upc code so unfortunately it scanned although I knew what I was going to type and the qty but the system will call for help, even when I didn't need it... Well lets just say when I saw him he was on his cell phone texting and when I politely said excuse me he put his finger to basically tell me to wait and he then proceeded to text whomever he was texting rather than help a customer...I was then annoyed. I explained what occurs and he said for just a donut (as if he wasn't aware) and I said not for 2 rolls but the only bags available at the KK bag that contains a upc code so it triggers the system thinking I needed help when it's not needed. At the end unfortunately he needed to authorize a final time although we both know its now a 2-step process. Again I had to say excuse me I need your authorization...not polite, not managerial like, as if I was bothering him to do his job (wow). Again while the other staff, even a nice lady that runs the front makes it worth while coming here, he turned me off to not even want to come back. While telling staff to not have their phone out to text maybe you should do the same with this particular manager. 3 stars are for the rockstar staff but minus two for the manager you chose to hire.

Gerbacio in produce was really friendly and humorous. I learned that this location offers fresh fried fish which is not something I normally would think Ralphs would have but Ebony had shared some samples with us. Plenty of parking in the large lot. Venice can get busy but didn't have a hard time finding a spot.

Quite naturally, she was able to locate things at this particular location that mine have, but in different aisles and sections of the store. And of course with me being the good son, I paid for the various items she wanted. What I wasn't prepared for was this awesome duo of David and Santiago, both of whom offered levels of customer service as a collective tandem that I had yet to see in a grocery type of setting. Despite a line behind us, cashier David went out of his way to separately bag numerous dish detergent soaps my mom had gotten, clearly pointing out how the last thing we would want would be any soap remnants leaking onto our groceries which ironically enough has happened to us before. Santiago handled the bagging aspect of the transaction with a smooth flow, smile, and great personality, enabling us to get in and out in no time. You can tell these two gel well, and it's clearly a credit to the Ralph's brand, and at the very least this storm particular.

I was walked over, asked clarifying questions, and helped with my search. Then voilà--found! I left with a 25lb turkey, all the ingredients I needed for the bird + side dishes, and--a smile! Thanks Ralph's team! You can 100% count on me as a returning customer. :)

Yay...SO, on my way home I decided to come here. Ever since my local Whole Foods closed, I have not ventured over to the Venice behemoth store!!! It's a bit overwhelmingly ginormous! Ofc, I spent the entire gift card $ on some delicious items to help me completely get over this flu which has lasted almost 10 days! OF COURSE I MASKED... hellooo I am doing so much better but still not much of an appetite. TIP: THIS FLU HAS BEEN ROUGH ON ALL PEOPLE OF ALL AGES... please take care of yourself. I did get a flu shot this year but the new strain is long lasting... I wore a super protective mask that fit snugly over my face even though I was told I couldn't spread it to anyone! Better to safe than sorry! Afterall, we are in this world together!!! Some good sales, but a complete and well deserved gift to myself!

It's not a great location but if you're just in need of your groceries it's still a good place to go.
