NOT SO FAST OLD MAN! The good folks at Sullivan told me the tire couldn't be repaired because the screw was too close to the sidewall. What they didn't know is that I knew exactly where the screw was. It was well within the tread. But they REALLY wanted to help with my problem, and offered to sell me one tire, for nearly $400. Installed I assume, or maybe not. So, I took my leak elsewhere. Got it repaired for $40 and made a friend. The man has been in the tire business for decades, and just shook his head when I told him the story. Here's the thing: I never begrudge a man a day's pay, but do not try to take advantage of me. I'm too old and I worked too f***ing hard for my pension to get porked because the rubber merchants had a slow day. Sullivan Tire will reply, bleating their side of the story. And that's fine. A few days ago, I noticed that my back left tire was flat, so I brought the tire in to determine what could have caused it to go flat. There was no evidence of a leak, but when pressure was placed on the sidewall of the tire, air leaked out between the rim and the tire itself. My understanding is that an issue like this is caused by improper installation, causing the seal between the rim and the tire to slowly lose it's integrity and allow air to leak out. I asked for the cost of a replacement tire to be covered by the establishment, being that I just purchased this tire less than a year ago, and improper installation has resulted in the need to purchase yet another new tire. They would have secured my repeat business if they had handled this properly, as I fully understand that mistakes happen. As long as accountability is taken for those mistakes, that is the mark of a great business. Unfortunately, I was met with an incredibly rude manager who was not willing to collaborate on coming up with a solution to this problem. I will not be taking my business here in the future, and I hope that sharing this experience prevents others from going through the same thing.

When I arrived for my appointment the following Monday, they didn't remember the oil change or the mirror replacement, so I had to remind them. Regarding the plate light, I provided the wrong one--that was my mistake. The team did a great job replacing the mirror, and I truly appreciate their time and effort. The oil change was a bit pricey, but I also appreciate the service. However, I never asked for the check engine codes to be deleted, yet I was charged $250 for that. What I specifically requested was for the EPC light and the shaking while driving to be checked, as I believed they were related. When I picked up my car, the check engine light was off, but it came back the very next day. Again, I never asked for the codes to be deleted, and the EPC light was still there. I understand that this is an old car with many issues, but I've been driving with those check engine codes for two years without any problems. I am not a native English speaker, but I know what I said--I'm not that bad at English. The workers here are very kind, but not the best listeners, I believe.
