I've been coming here for years to get my oil changed and for other services my car has needed. Great customer service and fair prices!

Came here for my usual oil change and 100,000 mile check up. Everything was fine, which gives me a good feeling about this place as they didn't try to sell me anything ahead of the maintenance schedule. Price for a full synthetic is a bit pricey, but I keep coming because of the great customer service and the fact that they're always very accommodating of me needing to pick up my car before a certain time. One time, I nearly forgot to pick up the car before they closed (meaning I wouldn't have been able to drive home!!), but the wonderful lady at the desk was able to wait a bit overtime for me to get it. I wouldn't want to make her do that again, but she did save me that trouble. read more

Paul and his staff do great work and have never let me down. Very professional, great people, well versed in their craft. Most shops will over charge you and even cause other things to go wrong with your vehicle. It's very hard to find a shop you can trust with so many engaging in shady practices. I've gone through this shop with both an older car (belt, 02 sensor etc) and a brand new one (oil change) No problems and they work fast. read more

I've been going to Paul's Garage for 5 years with my BMW X5's, MB GLS 450 and my 2 Porches, 911 and Macon Turbo. You wont find better mechanics in the area or really nice family oriented people. Paul and his staff are the most fair honest people. I have regular service work done there to major engine work out of the car as well as the transmission. The prices are very reasonable. They are very involved in the community and that's how I found them. I have a background in mechanics and shops from a prior job in the insurance industry. These guys are among the best on any type of repair. I'm not related to them in any way but good shops/people need to be recognized. read more

I have had several excellent experiences at Paul's Garage. They are honest, dependable, timely and meticulous. During this shut down period my battery died. They came to my driveway jumped my car and called ahead so that a battery could be delivered to the shop that day. I drove it straight there waited 30 minutes for the battery to arrive and they quickly replaced and had me on my way. They truly made a customer for life. I would highly recommend. read more

It's now Paul's Auto Service. These guys were great. My daughter's car was towed there mid-afternoon because it would not start. They did not have the necessary part in stock, but they were able to get the part and have the car running by the time they closed at 6pm. Everyone there was nice and friendly and the (12 year old) car runs like a dream. Get this ... 2 weeks later Paul called to make sure the car was running well and wanted to be sure everything was ok! Have been going to Paul's for 3 years now and these guys NEVER disappoint. They actually did some body/frame work for me when they felt the body shops wanted to overcharge me for some work. They often-times refuse to charge us for little things (air, fluids, changed out headlights, etc)...answer is always "no problem, we appreciate your business". Terrible experience! DROVE my car in on Wednesday morning about 11 a.m. with my vehicle starting only when it was cold. Once up to running temp. I had a "no crank-no start" issue. I explained they didn't have to rush as long as I had it back by closing on Friday as i was leaving for vacation Saturday morning, this I made very clear. No call for the rest of the day Wednesday or Thursday until I called them about 4p.m. "The car starts everytime we go out". I explain once again that its fine when the engine is cold, only an issue once up to running temp. By Friday afternoon, still with not one call from them since I dropped the car off, I call again. "The car wont start at all" I'm told. Asking if it will it be ready before they leave for the weekend, as they're closed Saturday, I'm told we dont know whats wrong we havent really had a chance to look at it. Completely frustrated, I tell them I will be by shortly to get the vehicle. I arrive an hour before them closing for the weekend, the hood open on the car, steering column off, too little, too late. Paul said "you told me you weren't in a rush, the car doesn't start". I reply that I thought 2 1/2 days would be enough time, and once again tell him that I told him I was leaving for vacation the next morning. I paid to have the vehicle towed to my home and was forced to rent a vehicle really cutting sharply into my vacation money. Horrible, horrible, horrible! read more

Let me start out by saying I don't usually right reviews but felt compelled to do so after having 2 similar experiences at this mechanic. I was referred over by a family member who also services his car here. This is the second time I serviced my car here (2 different cars) and at the time of the first servicing I noticed that it took them a total of 3 days to fix my car which I thought was extremely long based on my experiences with my other mechanic which is also very busy but finds a way to service my cars right away. In addition my car just required an alternator. I was told at the time that they were busy and not able to get to it right away even though I was told when I dropped it off that they would look at it right away. I also noticed that there prices are more expensive then your typical mechanic but I am the type of person that I believe you get what you pay for so I'm willing to pay for quality customer service and quality work. I believe there prices demand the highest level in customer service and quality since you are paying top dollar compared to other local shops. I will tell you I decided to let my so so experience the first time go and decided to once again try them out this past week with another vehicle of mine that needed repairs. I decided I would call before towing the car there to make sure that they would be able to repair the car in a timely basis and whether perhaps I needed an appointment based on my experience the first time. I was told on a monday to drop it off and they would take a look at it either that day or the next. Well let me tell you that it was definitely not the case. The car ended up being at the shop for a week and one day....from monday to next tuesday for a battery and a starter. The problem was not the amount of work the car needed but instead to get them to just even look at the car. I was told I would get a call the following day (tuesday) the latest with what the repairs would cost, I waited till wednesday and since I hadn't received a phone call yet I called myself to find out and was told they were "to busy and didn't get a chance yet to even look at it but today (wednesday) I'll look at it". Okay so I waited for the call and once again didn't get a phone call back and decided to call once again (thursday) and was told once again the same story but in addition was told "do you really need the car as we had a lot of work that didn't go well this week ". I was shocked at the response because obviously when you drop off a car that needs to be fixed you don't do it just because but with the intention that you need it....does anyone drop off a car that doesn't need it fixed? In addition to be told that some of thw ork didn't go well this week is not very comforting. At this point I was being given the round around over and over and as a consumer who is paying top dollar for there repairs would expect much more. I once again did not get a call on friday (5 days now) and at this point I wasn't surprised as I was promised on the phone already repeatedly and was starting to think the work would never get done. It was not till tuesday (8 business days later) of the following week that I was finally told that the car needed a battery and a starter. I was told a price which once again is much higher than your typical shop would do $567 for a battery and starter. At this point I was just happy that they had finally looked at the car and said for them to go ahead and fix it. They called me later that day and indicated that it was ready. Since I work long hours my wife went to pay and picked up the keys and was now told it would be $740 not $567 because they had also replaced the mass air flow sensor but had not told me that the car needed it or that they where going to do this repair. This level of customer service is not what I would call professional or high quality...u guys can judge for yourselves. Prior to this I had used my mechanic for over 20 years and was always given the highest quality of customer service and quality work but unfortunately he has since retired and I was looking for a mechanic that provides good customer service, is dependable, provides quality work and is reasonably priced. Nothing that's to much to ask I think but unfortunately what I found was a mechanic that is overpriced, not responsive and does not provide quality customer service. You be the judge but beware. read more
