Paul's Garage was able to repair the brakes on my 2001 Chevy Tahoe when they stopped working out of nowhere one morning. Paul's diagnosed the issue quickly and fixed by replacing a rusted brake line. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They even fixed the broken spring on my hood latch It is getting harder and harder to find mechanics willing to work on older Chevrolet vehicles thankfully I found Paul's and my GMT800 rides again. Paul's pricing was very fair and honest compared to other shops I have been to in our area. Highly recommend! read more

I have had four cars over the years maintained at Paul's and was always happy with the service.Recently our car drove over parking lot cement stops and hit building.Police towed, then insurance had it towed to their lot near Trenton, told us it was to be totaled.Paul got it,said all it needed was a little A/C work.(and minor body work on front bumper) A thorough inspection was done for very reasonable. read more

Paul is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough and always willing to accommodate me. His prices are fair. I'm happy I found him.

Needed a rebuild transmission May,2021. He outsourced the work, but the invoice has his information. By Sept, car began leaking transmission fluid, took the car numerous times back to Paul. ( they claimed they couldn't locate leak or there was no leak, even though my driveway told a different story. After numerous frustrating appointments and nothing resolved, took car to another mechanic and was told I paid for a bad transmission installation.($2,505.00) My trans pans is leaking and now I have to pay another mechanic to repair the shoddy work. Also, had issues with the car not starting consistently, went to Paul, he installed a starter. Car continued not to start, replaced the battery, still issues, replaced the alternator. I guess he never diagnosed the true issue prior. I'm pissed, I have spent over $4000 on a 14 year old car and it is not like I just showed up off the street. He has worked on this car for years and is aware I don't have money to throw away on unneeded repairs. If you need an oil change, this business may be able to handle that, anything regarding a major repair, take your business elsewhere. I truly feel this shop owes me some sort of refund. Stay away! read more

Paul's is my go to whenever maintenance is needed for my Honda. Paul and crew have saved a couple high mileage cars that other mechanics would have declared dead on arrival or given astronomical estimates. His prices are fair and the service is prompt. The quality of work is very good. They are great guys and I intend to keep giving them my business. read more

Great mechanic. The shop is easy to communicate with, and very upfront with costs. Friendly mechanics in the shop, very attentive to your needs and most importantly , they will not try and sell you a bag of goods that are not needed. read more

Paul has been fixing my family's cars for years. While not always the cheapest, but you don't have to go back to get it re-fixed. He is honest, the work is of the highest quality and it is done in a timely fashion. Well worth it! read more

I use to be a mechanic myself, but i no long work at a shop, nor do i have the time to work on my own cars. I have been going to Paul's for 7 years and as a fellow mechanic he is one of the best. For me to trust him with my cars says a lot about his shop and his guys. There work is second to none, and they fix it right the first time. They are honest about your repairs, and they will alert to upcoming problems. I believe there prices are fare, a lot cheaper then going to the dealer. Paul and his mechanic are very friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. They also do custom exhaust work, my 04 Ram looks and sound great! read more

Don't bother... you get quoted one price and it's more when you pick up. Not worth the trouble. Will stay with Kenilworth Sunoco.

I've had Nothing but Great Experiences at Paul's Garage. I bring mine and my wife's car here and are always treated like friends. Paul is very fair in price and he and his crew do Excellent work. I Recommend Paul's Garage to all. read more

Paul was very reasonable with his rate and he installed a piece that I ordered myself. He also waited after closing for me to come get my car. In addition to replacing my brake pads, he told me about a wheel bearing issue that i'm having that other places failed to tell me. Very honest guy, I will certainly go back. read more

I was amazed and thrilled by how quickly and inexpensively Paul fixed my Subaru Forester. The dealer wanted over $2000 and Paul did it in one day for less than 1/5th of that. Paul fixed and replaced only what was necessary. Highly recommended! read more

I love my experience at Pauls Garage. 1) I paid 2 hundred dollars less than all the other garages in this area. 2)Midas wanted to charge me $29 dollars just for a estimate. Paul gives free estimates. 3)Midas wanted me to wait 5 hours just to give me their estimate. Paul had the entire job done at half the price in 1 1/2 hour. 4)I not only can trust this garage, I love my experience there. He beat out all the other garages by far. I am grateful, so I ran home to write this review. Now I can get to work on time. Thank You, Paul read more

In the past 3 years, I've used the repair services of Paul's Garage of Westfield for following repairs (I own two cars, Honda and Subaru, with considerable mileage): replaced a catalytic converter and flex-tube, timing belt & water pump, complete brake job, fan belts and valve cover gaskets (installed spark plugs that I purchased myself, before I found out that the valve cover gaskets needed replacing). All of the work was done flawlessly, and at a very fair price! Paul just repairs/replaces what is needed, and doesn't try to jack up the bill. Very honest. read more

My family and I have been going to Paul with all of our cars, (Subaru, Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Hundai) and he has been knowledgable and helpful with each issue. I recently bought a car and Paul was able to help me in my decision. Paul is fair with pricing and will always get the job done right the first time. One of a kind man. read more

As it has been said, nothing but great experiences here. I had them install a new differential and new gears on my Mustang, and I couldn't be happier. The price was very fair, the vehicle was ready when they said it would be, and there were no additional costs upon completion. I was so happy with the first job that I went back to have custom exhaust work done as well. Paul has a lot of experience, and his crew does great work. read more

Recommended by a friend of my daughters so I took in their cars for different issues. Found the service to be fantastic; honest; accurate. Paul made sure the real problem was found and only fixed what was necessary. Totally floored at how inexpensive the repairs to both cars were. My daughters friend really gave a great recommendation. Both girls decided they would only use Paul since they can trust his work and recommendations. Nice to find hones mechanics! read more

Brought my car in to figure out what was wrong with it. Guy did repairs without even asking me. Said he automatically fixes anything under 500 dollars. Called police on me when i refused to pay and eventually took half of what he was asking when i threatened to go to BBB. Bring your business elsewhere. read more

Fair and honest, quick to respond, went above and beyond and all around great experience. Not one to usually rate on here, but with mechanics being hit or miss, especially with superfluous work or charging you for diagnostics to then do the work necessary, Paul's didn't pad the bill with non-necessary work, and I wanted to mention it. read more

Paul's Garage is awesome! My son had a flat tire and I took it to a shop in Westfield . I had the tire replaced and asked them to look over my son's car. A couple hours later they called me and said the car needed calipers, roters and brake pads. They quoted me $1,100.00 for the work. As a single mom this sent me into a panic. For one the price seemed WAY too high and secondly I was not sure if they were ripping me off. I called Paul and explained the situation. He gave me a quote of $850. Sounded great so I brought the car to Paul. When I picked up the car the following day, Paul told me the car had not needed new calipers and the bill would only be $650. Talk about HONEST!!! Simply put Paul's garage is the BEST. They are honest, well priced, professional, and timely. Could not be happier! Thanks Paul! read more
