I used this establishment as a referral from a friend who's window was shattered in Deep Ellum…read morealong with mine. We both has our window replaced on the same day. Ironically we both has the same repairman to come out to our locations. I went back and forth on my decision when it came to this review. I wanted to give the repairman (Paul) and his manager (Kevin) the benefit of doubt. However, the joke would on me after the jobs were complete. When my window was finished he did not call me back out to the vehicle to inspected. I was meet at work with the invoice and requested I inspect the work before paying for the service. At that time he informed me of not being able to recalibrate my window and I needed to bing it to the shop. I responded by requested a refund on the visit fee being that the work would have me at the shop. This is where I should have known that the knowledge of the repair wasn't there because I googled how fix the calibration. Now even though I aided in the full repair of my window I still paid the full amount.( I also received a text from the repairman the next morning requesting what link I used to recalibrate my window) Which leads me to the following day when I took my car to the car wash. As Im cleaning my car I rolled down all the windows to find that my passenger door panel is off a little. Immediately contacted the repairman direct and told me he could come out on the following day. I waited and was okay with him missing the first day because of the rain and bad weather. What I didn't know is I would have to text him 3 days after the rain requesting the job be finished. He informs me that he's sorry and it would take him 2 additional days to come out because he would be on his personal time. At this point I'm pissed because you are having to do this because your work wasn't complete! He informs me that I can reach out this his manager if that didn't work out. I contacted the manager and informed him of my repair and he told me I could bring it in and get a refund on the travel fee. Now as anyone else I had an unforeseen family emergency. This took me out of the play for 3 days and on today I called to make sure we were still okay on my repair. The manager says yes you just have to bring it in but the morning time. granted the call was placed at 11.30am so I asked, "what about now?" To my surprise Im told yes but it's first come first serve so there's people ahead of me and I would have to wait. Now I understand everyone is admit about their windows being repaired as was I. In the same token I was admit that the work would be completed after the 1st visit. Just to throw this out there don't assume because you are tipping someone to do a service for you and providing them fluids on a hot summer day. That they will live up to that work expectation. If you remember at the beginning I mentioned my friend's window was being replaced on the same day. The day of the rainstorm her window wasn't done properly causing the rain to flood her floor. This pricing at this establishment was fair and the travel service help young working individuals like us but the quality of the work, customer service and product knowledge needs WORK!!!!!!! Update on my window and the subpar service provided by this business. I had to return to the shop because the repairer left glass in my door panel. Despite numerous opportunities for the shop to rectify the situation, I am now pursuing legal action. This location required me to drive over 30 minutes to the shop to have the remaining glass removed from my door panel. To my surprise, I left my car out due to company visiting, and we experienced heavy rain. Upon entering my car, I noticed a puddle in my passenger floorboard (the side of the door panel where the window was repaired). I immediately contacted the shop and returned my car for the third time. The front desk representative provided a different explanation than what was communicated via text message. I will be uploading video footage, text messages, and photographs over the course of this experience. Services Auto side window replacement, Window repair

At this time, the shop foreman was a very kind man named Danny Starnes, and he wrote a estimate for a frontal bumper and collision repair, and I had the eventual work dent repair done by technicians employed by the Autobody Brand and was pleasantly surprised by the superior end result. Now I am thirty five years older and still have a great future ahead, but I have a 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan that has a nasty dent on the sliding entry door and I would eventually like to have repaired and color matched up as close as possible. Cross-posted on Google Reviews too. I've had two of my cars painted by Carstars. They are GREAT!…read more September 2023 (2nd review) Carstars does it again! Special thanks to Matt and TJ (I learned the name of the painter) for repairing and repainting my new-to--me BMW 330i ZHP just right! Not two days after I bought this beauty from a friend, some low-life POS here in Denton keyed it. But since I needed a front bumper repaint and a dent fix on another door, it just got done all at the same time. Just like my front end repaint of my 1998 4Runner (below), Mat was willing to work with me on lowering my out of pocket cost as much as possible by allowing me to remove body parts to allow me to save on labor and reinstallation costs that the shop would charge. This actually allowed me to remove the black door and front bumper protection parts (black strips) and recondition them with a graphene-type black coating. Just like last time, Mats and crew did a solid job. I opted not to blend the rear passenger door panel to save a grand or so and they still did an excellent paint match! The key scratches along the passenger door are all gone as is the dent that the previous owner's wife put in it. Also, I had Mats and team paint the front bumper as it was faded pretty bad, and lastly there were a bunch of white door dings caused again by the PO's wife. Oh, the shop also does mechanic work. They fixed the rear passenger door's window regulator and now the window works as it should. The car looks AMAZING. She'll be a garage queen for sure for now and I have a bunch of little things I need to do to get it perfect. But again, the paint job is fantastic, the service was great, and the communications by all parties kept me informed and happy. Thanks again for the second time in a year, Carstars! ****** PREVIOUS REVIEW **** I had a great experience w/ the team at Denton Carstar and special thanks to Mats, who clearly understood that I was wanting to save as much money as possible but still want a quality paint job at the end. My beloved 1998 4Runner (owned since 2000) spent most of its life in CA and has been one of the best vehicles I've owned and has taken me to far off places but has reliably performed on the day-to-day stuff that life threw at me. Needless to say though at 275K miles, I didn't want to break the bank getting it painted. I called about 7 different places and 5 of them never returned calls so I went to Carstars because it was close to my work place. Mats understood that I am a car guy and take pride in this vehicle. He allowed me to remove some exterior parts that I knew how to do to save on money, and I really appreciated that. From there, he and the crew there turned my vehicle over to me in about 8-9 days. The paint looks great! Oh, the prior paint job from an autobody place in CA had delaminated at the 10 year mark as they said it would, so this was a repaint. Anyways back to the paint job, I don't see a single flaw and I hope it lasts as long as they say it will. So far so good, no complaints. Highly recommend that you talk with Mats! I've attached a bunch of before and after shots though the after shots do not have the fender flares and the antenna back on as I'm waiting for parts.
