While this style as perfect for my previous home and garden, there aren't many items that work in my modern condo, but I purchased some gifts for friends. During the Christmas season, I bought giagantic snowflakes, candle holders and lit trees. There is also a huge private parking lot with many parking spaces. Customers can purchase any items directly from the showroom floor, or can have items ordered. In addition to the huge on-site selection, they have an enormous catalog of anything one could possibly need. Many furniture items can be customized with a huge variety of fabrics or layouts. Based on the behavior of the staff they are not paid well, and could care less if clients are happy. They have a nice selection of rugs, just beware they have a time limit for being helpful. To me, NO RETURNS" mean we don't care if it works or not. All these flags came after the sale. We are happy with our rug, but EXTREMELY disappointment in the experience. Had they said in the first 5 minutes, "all our rugs are samples, that can be bought for an additional charge, but we discourage that because we need them to sell. Our rug order time is 2-8 weeks, and we do not have returns (see picture attached)." We would have left right then. That is why I am writing this review. We walked in NW Rugs & Furniture At 1:50 pm on Sunday. We have been looking for a rug for about a week. We have looked on Amazon for pattern ideas & visited to Home Depot. Our other rugs are from Home Depot, so we decided to go to NW Rugs because it made sense to see what a rug store had to offer. We were greeted by a salesperson who was friendly & asked what we were looking for. We looked at all the hanging rugs within the size, and price point we wanted. Our salespersons was nice, but we felt like he was getting impatient with us. He did a few assume closes on us, "ok it is this one? You want this one? Anything else you want to see, or just this rug." The timing was off and it felt rushed. It did not allow for us to work through how we make a buying decision. I am a visual person. I need to see the rugs on the floor to see if it works. We were narrowing down between 3 different pattern types. I asked to see a larger rug size on the floor. I was told "that it was the same rug as the one on the floor, just bigger." I want to purchase a rug, I need to see it on the floor to make a educated buying decision. He then proceeded to put the smaller rug away and linger around. Which communicated " you are annoying, please leave." My husband told him, we want to buy a rug, but we need to see it on the floor. Can you please lay this one down for us to see. So then he said "you want to see it in the floor." I started to get frustrated at this point. We had been in the store an hour and getting closer to making a decision, that is when it was like "nope you are too much work, I don't get paid enough to help you." Once we saw it on the floor, we were like ok, that is it. Then the crazy hit the fan. Another salesperson came over and told us we need to buy a rug liner. Narrowing down without true help from our salesperson took a lot out of us. Then to have a random stranger, start talking about "how we need a rug pad, or we will ruin our flooring..." I stopped him there by saying "I have reached my limit. I do not need anymore information, I need to go home now." My husband was getting the rug paid for and when I walked over to the counter the salesperson told us, "our rug" will arrive to our home 2-8 weeks from now. I was furious! I said "no" we are not buying it unless we can get it today. I had zero faith in us getting the right rug, with the same patterned. We were told, "well you can buy the floor model but it is $30 more, because then I can't show it to other people." SO! We WANT the rug TODAY. An additional $30 is no big deal to not have to deal with these people anymore & take it home! They spent 15 minutes trying to sell us a $70 rug pad, and 10 minutes trying to keep us from spending the additional $30 for the floor model. It makes ZERO sense... except they are not service based. If you are an empath and want kind service, do not shop here. They could not do anything for us to shop there again! It is was THAT BAD! They are clearly, a one and done type of business. At least that is our perception.

There are even used tools in decent condition, and occasionally artwork, appliances, lawn hardware and more. I wouldn't compare it to Goodwill though : they are fairly picky about what they accept as far as donations, and there are no clothes. As someone who's both donated and bought here, I'm a fan. Prices are more than reasonable and you're saving this stuff from going in the dump.
